Garden of Doom (Part 8)

*ROOAAARR*

A loud roar is heard by everyone as they can sense a powerful earthquake where its epicenter is at the huge crater itself.

Many of them are panicking as they can feel a tremendous amount of weird [Mana] flowing inside the pit.

"What the hell?!"

"Its outrageously powerful!"

"Is that the [Darkrow] that everyone's talking about?! They say that not even a Top class Grade A Adventurer can easily handle such beast. What should we do now?!" He asked with his comrades that is around with him.

Their faces are something that cannot be painted as they can feel such absurd power coming from the pit.

"What do you mean 'what should we do' are you implying that we should fight that thing? Are you perhaps still dreaming that you're strong enough with just two [Styles]. We should run now, we should follow the advice of the [Monarch Candidate]!" His friend replied to him.

"True! Among all participants here, he may be able to fight against that thing unlike us. No!— he asked us to run before him, maybe he's planning on buying us time. We should run now!"

With those words coming from a middle age man, they immediately run away from the scene without even looking back to Zenon as they are clenching their [Armas] tightly while running for their lives.

Zenon saw that and he smirk right when those guys leave as he tightly grip his normal sword while numerous blue floating orbs are surrounding him.

"That's good! Finally, I can fight without worrying about the others. So why don't you come out now... Darkrow!" Zenon said.

And within those seconds, the soil exploded but instead of having a fire, the ground itself burst and a huge monster comes out.

[Darkrow • High-Tier Beast]

A huge beast that has a four legs that is covered with a very dark and hard shell of finest metal that not even a high-class sword can pierce through. Plus its sharp claws that can ripped off flesh with a single swing would bring inevitable death to those who dares to be careless. It's size is like of a wyvern with his long and wide bat-like wings and its head is like of a dragon with huge horn in the middle of its forehead as its teeth so sharp can divide a beast with a single bite.

*ROAAAAAARRRR*

The huge [Darkrow] roar so loud again that it can even move Zenon due to its powerful force.

Zenon can finally realize the situation.

"That thing is incredibly powerful! I need to think of something to deal with that thing, I only have one hour to finish the game." Zenon said.

*Clench*

He tightly grip the normal sword he got as the blue floating orbs as his [Styles] are floating around him.

The people inside the City can see the current situation because of the live feed caused by Edward. They can see the enormous and powerful [Darkrow] from their screen that even Zenon's party are worried to him.

"We should help him!" May said with her trembling voice that clearly means that she's worried about the situation of Zenon.

But Bryle replied to her.

"What do you think we can do? We're just going to slow him down!"

"But still—"

But right before May could even reply to the notion of Bryle, Ross their party leader, loudly said with his cold and serious voice that made May and Bryle stop their argument.

"Shut it! Just don't talk and trust Zenon." Ross said without showing any emotions to his face.

Zenon is standing up few meters away from the [Darkrow] as they are both looking at the eyes of each other completely reading the whole situation.

While both of them are looking at each other's eyes, Zenon thought:

Whoever move first and make a tiny opening... will lose!

The [Darkrow] is growling at him like a dog threatening a house intruder. Then while seemingly the situation is ceasing, a drop of a small pebble from the ground created a small sound but that sound signal to both fighter to start the fight.

The [Darkrow] immediately opens its huge mouth and breath a black flame that burns the ground.

*WHOOSH. BOOOOOOOOM*

But Zenon immediately jump so high and commanded the numerous blue orbs from the sky to attack the beast.

*BOOOOM. BOOOOM. BOOOOM. BOOOOM *

Continuous explosion continues to echoes on the surroundings and creating a devasting effect that changes the topography of the open space.

"Nice! a direct hit! But..." Zenon said.

A huge wings spreads up and the huge beast flew from the ground to the sky as it approaches Zenon that is falling.

Crap!

The [Darkrow] is moving at insane speed while trying to use its sharp claws to grab the falling Zenon. But when the [Darkrow] is just a few centimeters away from him, he uses a blue orb and hardens it and uses it as a footing to evade the attack.

"This is going to be rough fight!" Zenon said.

As Zenon's foot reaches the ground he gathers a insane force and immediately jumped off to reach the [Darkrow] to the sky while holding his sword.

[Darkrow Skill: Insane Fireball]

Once the [Darkrow] sees him, the beast blasted a huge black fireball towards Zenon who is rushing to him.

*Blast*

Seeing that, Zenon immediately uses a blue orb to evade the attack as he uses it as a footing to change his direction as he tries to reaches the back of the [Darkrow] but right when he's about to pierce through the skin of the beast, numerous spikey tentacles appeared and attacked him.

"Shit! These tentacles again!."

One of the tentacles manage to grabbed his one foot and throw him off to the ground with such a huge force.

"Arghhh!"

Seeing on the screen, Terry who is overseeing the game is also worried to Zenon who is singlehandedly fighting such a powerful beast.

"Oh my! Is he really serious fighting that beast head on? I'm worried but why do I feel like something is going to happen that is interesting..."

Zenon is struggling to stand up as his whole body is aching from the fall but when he look at the sky, the [Darkrow] is rushing towards him but seeing such a high speed fall, Zenon don't have much time to evade.

This thing... is absurdly powerful! I can't evade this one, in that case...!

[Zenon-Art Prism Sword Style — First Style: Globe of Blue Sky]

[Trick: Hardshell]

A huge blue orb suddenly appear two meters away from Zenon as the [Darkrow] uses its both arms to crush the orb but it's extremely hard even for the beast, and with those few nanoseconds intervals, Zenon move and jump so high and wielded his sword as he move behind the beast.

He slashes the tentacles continuously and finally reaches the back of the beast and without wasting as any thoughts and time, he tries to pierce to the skin but unfortunately he failed as he can't pierce through because of its hard metallic skin.

Impossible! It's so hard... is that—

With the loose focus of Zenon, the [Darkrow] rotates its body to remove its opponent from his behind. And with that action, Zenon inevitably fall to the ground.

Crap! Not again! I need to find its weakness but how am I suppose to do that if that thing is smart enough to fight me! I need an opening and attack a sure fire attack.

He move again by using the orbs from his [Style] from any direction completely making the beast confused and with that action, he manage to find a tiny opening from the beast.

"Gotcha!"

*Tap*

He uses his palm and touches his forehead.

"Try to survive this you piece of shit!"

Then all of a sudden, right after Zenon moved away from the beast, the [Darkrow] is now inside of a huge blue orb while completely confused on what is happening. Then when Zenon stood up few meters away from the beast he uses his [Trick] to attack it in full power.

[Trick: Blue Lagoon]

*BBBBBBBBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM*

The huge orb exploded so powerful that even made Zenon flew away at a distance as it creates a huge mushroom of white smoke from the open space that even made all the people watching from the hologram shocked about Zenon's power.

"You've to be kidding me! He's too powerful to be called a [Grade B]! With that power he can fight toe to toe with a top class [Grade A Adventurer], just like earlier!"

While the huge explosion causes a massive earthquake from the surroundings, Zenon did not yield to wast any moment and rush towards the center of the smoke.

*Rush. Run. Run*

He's running so fast while holding his sword as he's gathering a enormous amount of [Mana] to the blade of the sword while running.

"I don't know how I'm able to use this kind of technique in terms of swords but I won't hesitate to use any skills I have to defeat you. I'm not yet done so try tasting this."

[Trick: Wall of Despair]

Four huge explosion comes from the orb as it hits the center of the smoke while hearing the scream of the [Darkrow].

*BOOM. BOOM. BOOM. BOOM*

After the explosion, he gripped his sword and stance like a sword master pointing at the [Darkrow].

[Sword Technique: Blanco]

Numerous white slashes comes from the blade of the sword that directly hits the [Darkrow]. And with those continuous attack from Zenon, he manage to lethally injured the beast that falls to the ground.

*Slam*

"How's that? Deliciously painful isn't it?" Zenon said with all his might while looking at the [Darkrow] with those deadly glowing eyes.
