Chapter 1

'Beeeep'

As Luca heard a loud horn his consciousness slowly faded away when he had opened his eyes he was greeted by a bright light that was centered in a vast open area surrounded by beautiful scenery.

"Where am I?" Luca asked in awe as he took in the beauty of his surroundings.

"Hello mortal, I am here to grant you one wish and another life as yours was cut short," said a voice that seemed soft but was heard clearly by Luca.

"W-what do you mean. Am I DEAD!?!?" Luca yelled anxiously.

"Yes, mortal you had gotten in a car accident... do you not remember?"

Luca Knight, who had just gotten off of his shift, yawned tiredly as he remembered how his co-worker, Sara, had been injured unexpectedly and he had to fill in for her as he owed her for the last time he had taken a couple of days off of work.

As Luca walked down the street to his old apartment complex he had noticed an old rusted razor blade on the ground and bent down to pick it up to through it in the trash.

"W-watch out!!" screamed a voice that sounded close by.

'beeeeep'

As he turned around Luca saw a car only seconds away from hitting him.

"I-i remember now, so I really died!?!?." Luca said as he fully remembered what had happened.

"Yes mortal now what is your wish?" The voice said a little impatiently as Luca thought about this "wish" a little more.

"Uh- what are you referring to when you say wish." Luca asked feeling a little overwhelmed by all that was happening.

"You can wish for anything that is within my power. I cannot make you a god or an immortal." The voice answered getting a little more impatient as Luca kept asking questions.

"Oh... well... Can I be strong enough to survive in the world I am being reincarnated into?" Luca asked feeling the impatience of the voice.

"Wish granted, good luck mortal." The voice quickly said as a light came from one of the nearby bushes and entered Luca's body.

"W-wait I have another quest-" Luca said before he was cut off by a sudden dizziness that caused him to hold his head in shock.

'Ding'

As Luca's consciousness faded once again he woke up to complete darkness.

'W-what happened? Where am I?' Luca thought as he tried to move around only to notice that he could not move any of his limbs or in fact, could barely move at all.

'Ding'

' Processing... Locating host... Host found... Starting System Zero... System Zero started'.

' Hello, host I am Zero a system that will help you survive in the world you have been reincarnated into' rung a robotic voice in the side of Luca's head.

"W-where am I?" Luca asked in confusion.

'Well host you have been reincarnated as a snake so you are still in your egg... you have 23 days left until you hatch,' answered the system in the same robotic tone.

"A-a s-snake." I stuttered stunned by the information the system gave me.

I got reincarnated into a SNAKE! At least I know a little about snakes, that should help me. Until I realized that I don't know what world I am in or if any snakes from my old world even exist here.

"What kind of snake am I?" Luca asked hoping that he was a species that he knew of.

"You can open status to see what and how strong you are."

'Status' Luca called out anxiously as a table like screen appeared in his mind.

With this Luca understood that he was definitely not in the world he used to know. Luca not only had no clue to what kind of snake he was he also had some type of magic.

The only thing that Luca could do now was wait for his new body to finish developing and see this new world that was awaiting him.
