20 Chapter 20 - Premonition

[Blake's P.O.V]

I woke up earlier and looked to my side towards Shallot's hammock to see that he was sleeping there with his notebook laying on top of him. I always wondered what was in that notebook. I got up from the bed and walked towards the hammock and lightly said while approaching him.

Blake: (whisper) "It's me Shallot."

Shallot moved around a bit and then stopped moving. I know that if you approach him while sleeping while he's not fully awake he will sometimes attack you with his tail. I found out after he came back after leaving for a while when he was 8 and my father tried to wake him up and was attacked by his tail.

Shallot was chased around the house by my father after that and we decided to announce when we were close to him to not surprise him or rather for us to not be attacked. I reached my hand over and grabbed the notebook on his chest and started looking inside it.

Blake: 'Ruby at the dust shop ... Ruby causes explosion ... Weiss and Blake get into a heated argument over the Faunus and the White Fang. When Blake accidentally reveals that she is a cat Faunus, she runs away with Sun, a monkey Faunus she encountered earlier at the docks, in fear of rejection.

What is all of this? Does he know everything that is going to happen? So later today I would get angry and have an argument with Weiss and give away my identity. I wouldn't need to run away though because Shallot is here. He would take my side without any doubt ... Would I do this just because of words? I'll have to ask Shallot what this book is and what does he mean when he says someone is going to die.

He wrote notes on the side of what should be things that have already happened and going to happen. I continued reading when she saw towards the end that someone named Cinder attacks and Adam arrives.

While she was distracted skimming through what was written she could feel Shallot's ki flaring up and the pressure around them becoming heavier. She could see his aura fluctuating and a large amount of killing intent flaring-up with small cracks in the air appearing and small items lifting from the ground floating slightly.

Everyone else in the room struggled to get out of their beds with their weapons ready looking around thinking they are under attack and when they noticed Shallot's aura and looked towards me while being pushed back slightly by a wind current being produced by Shallot lying there in his hammock.

[AN: I swear this is the world's strongest hammock.]

Blake: "Shallot, I'm right here."

I hugged Shallot and then his eyes opened and the red eyes that usually seemed happy were now silver and had only anger, sadness, and loss. He looked at me and then hugged me back shoving my head into his chest before his eyes turned back to his usual color.

Shallot: "I won't let anything happen to you all. I will wipe out everything if I lost you all.

Blake: "What happened Shallot? What made you this upset.

[Shallots P.O.V]

I had just gone to sleep and when I thought that I was waking up I noticed I was standing in what appeared to be a tunnel.

There were silver flashes constantly flying by me and underneath me was darkness. I started walking further into this "tunnel" that was formed by these silver objects flying by and after walking for some hours the objects stopped.

When I looked at them I noticed that they were actually bubbles. Each bubble was a place that I've seen in the show. Ruby in the store when she meets Roman for the first time, Blake fighting Roman at the docks after meeting Sun, the food fight in the cafeteria, and Glynda fixing everything.

The bubbles all blanked out then started changing and all of them started showing the end of season 2 with the Grimm that attacked the city of Vale after the girls arriving from the underground train, then more images appeared.

Shallot: "I don't recognize these images."

I walked up to one of the bubbles and put my hand on it and everything around me changed again. I was no longer in the "tunnel" but rather in the city of Vale.

I could see everything all around me. The city of Vale was burning and people were being ripped apart, I could smell the scent of blood and smoke in the air.

I attempted to go help and would send a couple of ki blast at the Grimm helping some people and while I was walking another bubble appeared in front of me making me walk into it.

I could see Pyrrha standing above a disassembled Penny and I was only standing a couple of feet away from them when a Nevermore came crashing through the glass above me.

Shallot: "What is going on here?"

Pyrrha looked at me while in shock.

Pyrrha: "Who are you?"

Pyrrha sounded out of it and as if she couldn't believe what was happening around her.

Before I could say anything else I was pulled backward and I could see that I was being pulled into another bubble.

Adam was attacking Blake in the cafeteria and I was going to blast him to kingdom come if he harmed a single hair on her. The black floor that was underneath me in the "tunnel" appeared beneath me.

Shallot: "Touch a single hair on Blake, and I will turn you into a pair of very uncomfortable shoes, Adam."

Adam heard me along with Blake and they turned towards me. I could see that in Blake's eyes that she didn't recognize me but there was still a look as though she was thinking about something.

Adam: "Who the hell are you!"

Adam was about to change direction to attack me.

Shallot: "It seems you don't remember the last beating you got from me and forgot your place mongrel."

Adam started walking towards me.

Shallot: "Oh, you're approaching me? Instead of running away, you're coming right to me?"

Adam: "I can't cut you apart without getting closer."

Adam continued walking towards me.

I waited for him to get close and he swung his sword at me and it didn't even scratch me.

Shallot: "I told you, Adam. If you ever went after Blake, not even god could save you."

I punched him in the ribs sending him flying back over towards the ground by Blake. I'm pretty sure I broke a couple of his ribs. Let's try to damage some organs next time.

I tried moving towards Adam to finish him but chains formed of darkness sprung from the ground tying me down forcing me to only watch and then a bubble appeared and swallowed me again and I was still in the cafeteria but it seemed that Adam was perfectly fine.

Adam: "I will make it my mission to destroy everything you love."

Shallot: "What the hell? What is going on?"

I started feeling hatred and anger welling up inside me.

I started trying to feel out for my connection with my sword when I realized I couldn't feel it at all. It's like it doesn't exist ... or maybe I'm not in the same world ... maybe this is a different Remnant.

I tried sensing for the Saiyan blade since it was connected to me even if I left it. I could tell previously that someone had found it but I wasn't worried since no one should be able to draw it if they can't use ki, but knowing that I've lost my connection with my sword lets me know "I'm not in Kansas anymore".

I continued watching thinking it will show me something important.

The world around me changes to Blake being stabbed by Adam and Yang having her arm cut off. These chains seemed to get tighter and tighter no matter how much I struggled.

I wanted to watch originally to see what it wanted to show me but after seeing what happened I just wanted to rip Adam apart.

Shallot: "What type of sick joke is this. If you wanted my anger then congratulations."

I was trying to stay as level headed as I could. I don't know if someone is doing this to me or if my semblance has gone berserk but from what I could see that these aren't illusions since I can interact. I think I'm somewhere between timelines.

Shallot: "Uh ... it's like Goku Black constantly being pulled back to his timeline. Maybe the world itself is interfering."

My surroundings changed again to show Ruby crying while holding Pyrrha's body then it changed once more to show Adam walking up to Blake and cut her head off. After that ...

Shallot: "Noooooo."

It felt like my heart was being pulled from my chest and was being crushed. The anger I felt and had calmed down had fully resurfaced and after that everything went black.

[3rd person P.O.V]

Shallot was chained from the floor when all his energy started flaring up, his aura and space around him started shattering and cracks started appearing on the chain.

???: "Are you going to allow these things to happen traveler?"

A voice sounded out from between the cracks that were forming around him in the world.

???: "Maybe I thought too much of this one brother. He doesn't seem to be able to embrace the darkness."

???: "Yes brother, but he has the will to fight for those that are in danger. Maybe we were too rash in abandoning the mortals here."

???: "We only decided to come and look since it seemed that something had invaded our universe but he didn't seem dangerous. Maybe this one can show the other mortals how to live a better life. I also find it strange that he can go and change time like this. Do you think there are other versions of ourselves in these timelines as he calls them?

???: "Maybe you should give him the eyes that you left that one clan of humans. It doesn't seem that there is a lot left in this "timeline?" so they must have been hunted down by the one I left the trial to so they wouldn't be able to stop her."

???: "Maybe I should ... alright, I'll give him the eyes but let's leave. I think we have already interfered enough. They should solve there own problems since they got themselves into this problem. The chains should take him back to his own "time" I suppose."

The two voices were getting more distant and they finally disappeared.

Shallot kept pushing his body as the chains started to shatter and he could feel the strength of his blood pumping and his rage was flowing throughout his body. His body had a different sensation running through his tail and up through his spine.

Shallot could feel his strength skyrocket and was sure this was more than 10x his current strength, but it didn't stop. It kept increasing the more time passed and then started slowing down.

Shallot wasn't paying attention to his body and was slowly moving towards the headless Blake. He looked around to see Yang missing an arm, Ruby crying in a bubble floating towards the side of him, the broken Penny in another bubble, the destroyed city overrun by Grimm in another bubble, and a bubble of Ozpin fighting against someone with fire and only the fire user coming out.

His eyes were completely white and there was no rationality in them but every time he saw a different bubble his eyebrows would twitch and his ki would rise slightly higher.

Adam turned around and looked noticing the bubbles thinking he was being attacked and noticed what he thought was a monkey Faunus broken chains coming from a black matter beneath him.

Blake had used her semblance to leave a shadow clone off herself and was fleeing towards the back with Yang in her arms.

Blake turned to look behind her to make sure that Adam wasn't following her when she had seen the person standing there surrounded by broken chains. She had a feeling in her chest and felt that she should know this person but couldn't understand why.

Shallot didn't know this and had only Adam in his sights.

Shallot charged at Adam and to everyone there, it seemed as if he had teleported and grabbed Adam's head and planted him face-first into the ground.

Shallot: "ADDDAAAAAAAAM!."

Shallot tightening his grip on Adam's head repeatedly slamming his head into the ground while Adam was trying to struggle and then Shallot threw him into the air while getting into the pose of the Kamehameha and started charging his attack.

Shallot: "DIIIIIEEEEEE."

Shallot then fired his Kamehameha and vaporized him carrying it out of orbit and becoming a beacon at Beacon academy.

Blake was astonished at the attack that she had just witnessed.

Shallot's anger still wasn't sated and he was only growing angrier and his power level continued increasing making the ground shake and the world around his had cracks appearing. Shallot then felt a warm feeling embracing him before hearing a voice.

Blake: "Shallot, I'm right here."

Blake's voice could be heard coming through the cracks appearing in the space around him.

The Blake holding Yang heard her voice and the care and affection held in the voice and could now understand why she felt warmness in her chest when she saw him. More spatial cracks appeared around Shallot before it shattered and he disappeared from there appearing in what appeared to be a solar system.

There were numerous planets but instead of just seeing what he would imagine the face of the planet were the hands of a clock and they even had a second hand ticking by. Each planet had a different time on it.

Shallot then felt that warm feeling and closed his eyes and could feel that he was being pulled somewhere else again but this time the pull felt gentle.

[Ozpin's office]

Ozpin was sitting in his office chair looking over some paperwork that was for the upcoming Vital festival when he could feel a large pressure over the entire school. Ozpin immediately got up and headed towards where the source of the pressure and came towards the dorms. He went through the hallway while having a magical shield around himself.

He made it to the front door of team RWBYS and pushed the door open to see Blake hugging Shallot and the pressure of the room disappeared while the others in the room were struggling to stand up with their weapons out were finally able to move normally.

Shallot: "I won't let anything happen to you all. I will wipe out everything if I lost you all.

Blake: "What happened Shallot? What made you this upset?

I was wondering how could someone so young could have so much strength and then I remembered that he was abandoned because according to him he was too weak compared to everyone else. I shuddered at the realization that if the strength he showed was considered weak I don't want to see what the strongest member strength is.

[3rd Person P.O.V]

Blake hearing Shallot's response could only hold Shallot closer snuggling her face deeper into his chest and thinking that it had something to do with the notebook with what he calls the events of team RWBY. Blake shoved the notebook he had towards the side by Shallot in his hammock with Weiss noticing the slight movement while Ruby also came over and rubbed Shallot's back hoping to help calm him down with Blake.

Yang and Weiss also came over to try to see what had caused all of this. After another 10 minutes, Shallot had calmed down and started looking around himself and noticed quite the crowd of people at their doorway with Ozpin standing in the doorway.

There were team JNPR, Velvet, and her team, and the professors were all standing there.

Ozpin walked towards Shallot and looked towards him with a worried look thinking about the power he felt coming from Shallot that was immensely stronger than him. He was sure that even if he and Salem weren't against each and decided to team up against him only then would they stand a chance.

Ozpin was glad that Shallot was on their side but was also concerned about what could make Sahllot feel such a feeling of loss. That was either one hell of a nightmare that would demoralize anyone or a force that made him feel helpless.

Ozpin: "Are you alright Shallot. The amount of power you were releasing was enough to blow the academy away if it was released. Can you tell me the reason why you were like this?"

Ozpin: 'It seems that if Shallot becomes like this more often that Blake will be able to calm him down.'

Shallot after regaining his bearings was thinking about what to do but decided to explain somethings so that they could prepare to incase what he went through would really come to fruition.

Shallot: 'If something like that is coming no matter how strong I am I can't be everywhere at once. I might have the strength to destroy all the Grimm but I might wipe out half the city in the process.

It seems that more training is needed for everyone else. It seems that the Piccolo style of training will be useful and they will get the crash course of the century.'

Shallot: "I guess you could say that I had a premonition."

Ozpin frown upon hearing that knowing about the relics and that they could also give premonitions and they always were something bad and judging from Shallot's actions it was nothing good.

Ozpin: "What were these premonitions."

Shallot exhaled before telling the fate of what was to come.

He started with Beacon being on fire with people being torn to shreds and death and destruction all around, Yang losing an arm while fighting, Ruby seeing one of her friends completely dismembered, Ruby holding a lifeless Pyrrha, and Blake being decapitated.

Ozpin: "And what about me?

Shallot remembered a scene where Ozpin was surrounded in a shield while being attacked by a massive amount of flames. He wasn't paying full attention to the one scene since so much was happening around him.

Shallot: "You died fighting against someone with fire abilities."

Ozpin: "That is quite concerning indeed. We need to prepare then. I think you all should go out and help Shallot calm down and by the time you return, I should have a plan that can help prevent these things from happening. If that isn't enough I will call for reinforcements from the other academies and gather the hunters and huntresses."

The others that were standing in the doorway were completely shocked by what they heard and were then dispersed by the teachers next to them having the room become quite.

Shallot: "We should probably get cleaned up and head out if you guys want to ask any questions."

Ki control - Low

{Ki techniques}

Crescent Moon - Concentrated ki attack using a scythe leaving a strong ki blade in the shape of a crescent moon.

Spirit Orb - Energy gathered from the surroundings not used for an attack but used to heal the user. This technique takes time to gather and used.

Spirit Dome - The same property of spirit Orb but can be used on others but will use ki from the user to heal those inside the dome. This takes a larger amount of time anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes to use and the person must be stationary.

Muscle enhancement - A technique to strengthen the body making it twice as strong by running ki along the muscles to tighten them but will cause physical exhaustion which will leave the person on a weakened state.

Finger beam - A concentration of ki at the tip of the finger that excels at penetration power. Incredibly dangerous at close range.

Ki blast - A basic ki blast that Shallot can use that can easily take out a Beowulf.

Ki bomb - A charged ki blast that has the capability of destroying a wall without much effort.

{Semblance abilities}

Space Crush - Force space to apply pressure around the user, an object, or an individual by touching them.

(Transformations)

??? - The user strength continues to increase the angrier the individual becomes. There hasn't been a known limit from what has been seen.
