Thump

Before reincarnating into this world, I thought that rabbits are just cute and fluffy animals that likes to eat carrots, play with their friends, and sleep all day.

Even in fairytales, they are depicted as part of the lovely woodland animals that are the loyal servant of a princess just because she sings. They even help in cleaning their houses!

But now in it right in front of me, that perspective came crashing down like a giant boulder.

I was woken up not by the gentle sunrise like always but by an earthquake, I thought that my burrow will possibly cave in, so I rushed outside my newly made burrow but to my surprise, I saw a bunch of rabbits thumping their feet in unison in a rhythmic pattern.

In front of me is the Alpha rabbit that I saw when I first got here on the riverbanks, looking at me like I am some sort of trespasser. With him are a bunch of rabbits thumping on the ground, I was able to see some Horned Rabbits, Great Rabbits, mixed among them thumping in unison.

You're gonna get your rent when you fix this damn door! Wait, rabbit burrows don't have doors.

The Alpha Rabbit looks as massive as a gigantic Tibetan mastiff. The mane looking like rugged and the body full of scars.

The Alpha Rabbit's hind legs were so muscular to the point that if that foot ever kicks a Greater Groundhog it would just turn into a meat paste in an instant.

When the Alpha Rabbit saw me exit my burrow, he growled, then suddenly the thumping of the rabbits stopped, and the 'earthquake' finally calmed down.

I can't believe that by thumping their feet in unison they were able to cause a small earthquake. I mean, come to think of it, I really do some damage, I remember that my Level 1 [Kick] was able to cave in a ferret's snout.

With a bunch of evolved rabbits thumping their feet altogether then I guess it wouldn't be strange that they can cause a small earthquake in their vicinity.

When the surroundings calmed down, He growled in my direction and then gestured toward the greater rabbits.

Did he say something to me? Am I supposed to understand what he said? I am a rabbit, right? Why can't I understand him then?!

Then a bunch of greater rabbits surrounded me, and one particularly large greater rabbit carried me up.

Ahhh, so fluffy. Wait, no!

Oi, what are you doing?! Put me down!

I think they want me to come with them. Well in that case just put me down, and I'll go with you!

Although it is really fine for me to be carried by this giant fluff, but still as a grown rabbit I have my pride to maintain!

Well, how can I even think of escaping from them, I am literally surrounded by them all my path of escape is blocked!

Thump

Then I heard a loud thump from the Alpha Rabbit and us away. The rest of the rabbits soon followed.

The big greater rabbit carried me in its arms and followed suit, with many more surrounding me.

I felt like the roads we hopped on became a sea of fluff with all the rabbits hopping in one direction.

The various monsters we've encountered quickly ran away when they saw the sea of fluff. There was even a group of Goblin Warriors that tried to stop and disturb our march, but they were quickly turned into a porcupine with all the Horned Rabbits that stabbed them.

Then the hopping soon stopped, and we arrived at a place full of holes in the ground.

The Alpha Rabbit gave a loud thump on the dirt.

A bunch of rabbits that came with us quickly dispersed from all directions.

I didn't notice this because I napped for a bit while I was being carried by the big greater rabbit.

Well, can you blame me?! Its fur is so soft and fluffy!

When I came to my senses, I saw the entrance to the bunny village and the ones that remained here aside from the Alpha Rabbit are five greater rabbits and including the one carrying me.

When I looked around the vicinity, I even saw some wild carrots growing in my surroundings.

Oi, is this it? Is this heaven? Can I finally eat the legendary carrot that only my great great great great grandpa rabbit was able to taste?!

Kidding aside, it seems that the rabbits here at least have the ability to plant some crops right? Well, that is what I think happened considering that there seems to be a dedicated space for carrots here.

The Alpha Rabbit resumed hopping, and we followed him deeper into the rabbit village.

I saw many kinds of rabbits that I never saw before.

The Lesser Horned Rabbit Warrior has a longer horn than the Horned rabbits, let's say normal horned rabbits have a sharp stump, but Lesser Horned Rabbit Warriors horns have a length of 3-6 inches.

The length was not uniform, so I think it just depends on the individual.

I saw some Horned Rabbits dueling with each other, I remember that I read from the description before I evolved that they are a battle-hungry species. So, it seems that it is true.

I wasn't the type of bunny to pick fights before but after I evolved, I became like a local gangster constantly intimidating those around me.

Wait, can my personality be influenced by what race I am currently?!

I think so because I was a peace-loving rabbit that likes to sleep beneath the gentle sunlight with the gentle morning breeze on my fur. Then suddenly I pick fights whenever someone irritates me.

I saw some of them look in my direction and even saw a few have a glint in their eyes.

I think they found a new target.

If you want to get beaten up then come at me!

If you think I am an easy target then think again, If I kick you in the face don't come running back to your father because I will also beat up his ass!

Well, I don't really want that, imagine the father getting beaten up then calling the grandfather, then the grandfather getting beaten up and calling the great grandfather, and when that gets beaten up too, then they will call the hidden expert of their clan. It is a never-ending cycle.

If I were to describe the Lesser Fire Starter Lops, they have red fur and lop ears. Although they look smaller than the greater rabbits it seems I cannot underestimate them.

Just from the name of the species I think they can cast fire magic. I even saw some of them setting some trees on fire like some pyromaniacs and hopping around the tree.

What the fuck? Are they trying to perform a ritual?

I am surprised that the forest still hasn't been burned to the ground with these pyromaniacs here.

While I was thinking of that I saw some rabbit with a horn casting some sort of water magic toward the burning tree.

The fire was quickly put out then some big and muscular Alpha Rabbits stomped on the group of Lesser Fire Starter Lops' faces.

The Messenger Hares were quite fast, they were slenderer than the other rabbit species and have shorter fur, so he is less fluffy.

Fluff is justice but it seems they compensate by being more agile and faster. I also see them kicking the air for God's sake.

They used the speed in which they kicked the air making it possible for them to turn it into an invisible platform that they can use to propel themselves forward.

They were like walking on air with that ability of theirs.

I saw more species of rabbits, but I was too busy relaxing in the embrace of the big greater rabbit. They are just there; they won't go away.

Fluff is more important than appraisal!

After hopping for a bit, we stopped at an entrance of a giant rabbit hole at the bottom of a mountain.

Thump

The Alpha Rabbit thumped his foot and then the big greater rabbit carrying me put me down on the ground.

Wait, no, don't put me down, carry me back!

Well, what are we going to do here?

The Alpha rabbit growled towards me and gestured to follow him inside the rabbit hole.

Well, here goes nothing.

I hopped into the rabbit hole.
