26 Inside the Secret Realm (5)
After killing Qin Huang, Zhang Kai and Ye Liuli moved deeper inside the dragon palace and entered a majestic hall.
Upon entering the hall, Zhang Kai found and Ye Liuli stood on a path to a staircase with 2 thrones standing on top of the stairs.
"Liuli, it seems we have reached the core of the palace and the inheritance of the supreme expert." Zhang Kai said excitedly as he looked at the 2 majestic thrones in front of him
"Kai'er, I know it! You are really destined for greatness in this life. Being with you is my greatest joy" Ye Liuli replied as she leaned towards Zhang kai's shoulder and gestured for him to go to the throne
Zhang Kai slowly walked towards the throne when he stopped midway as an illusory figure of a man suddenly appeared sitting in one of the thrones with his eyes closed.
Sitting on the throne, the man looked like a strong emperor and his aura gave the impression of someone who was capable of flattening anything in front of him. However, the unique thing is that the man had horns on both sides of his head.
Slowly opening his eyes, the sitting man scanned the entire hall and said "So you are the ones who reached this hall first, you are worthy to get rewarded. However, my inheritance could only be obtained by one of you, so which one of you will get it?"
"Senior, I would like to give this inheritance to the person next to me." said Ye Liuli as she made a hand gesture to Zhang Kai
Seeing that the figure nodded when he heard Ye Liuli's words, Zhang Kai felt ecstatic and could not wait any longer for his inheritance.
But, the next words of the figure rendered him speechless "How about you boy, do you also agree with being rewarded?" The figure said as he looked towards another part of the hall
Following his gaze, Ye Liuli and Zhang Kai was surprised to see a white haired boy who looked to be only 10 year old standing behind them
Li Chen who has been following both Zhang Kai and Ye Liuli decided to expose himself the moment the figure on the throne appeared
"Senior, I do not agree with them, I think it is only fair for us to compete for the reward sir." Li Chen said with a smirked on his face
Zhang Kai looked at Li Chen and remembered the words of his master, however in the presence of his fiancè, he would not allow himself to look weak "Kid, don't joke with yourself. You won't stand a chance fighting against me" Zhang Kai said as he released pressure from his 4th Rank Core Formation Realm
Hearing his words, Li Chen just started to laugh and in the corner of his eyes, he also saw the illusory figure on the throne also smirked
"HAHAHHAHA, with that puny cultivation, do you think you could do anything?" Li Chen said and looked down on Zhang Kai to provoke his ego
"YOU! HOW DARE YOU!" Zhang Kai dashed towards Li Chen with killing intent radiating from his eyes as he could not tolerate that kind of disrespect (dumb protagonist killing a 10 year old over some words -.-)
As his fist was about to reach Li Chen, Zhang Kai expression changed as the figure of the white boy disappeared and appeared behind Zhang Kai
"Hehee, its funny how 2 ants in the core formation dare to challenge me" Li Chen said as he revealed his real cultivation for the first time
Seeing the aura that Li Chen is exerting, Zhang Kai and Ye Liuli turned scared shitless and muttered with a low voice "Nascent Soul realm..."
The fact that Li Chen reached the Nascent soul realm was something that not Zhang Kai or anyone in this world could even predict, not even the figure on the throne as he could be seen to have a surprised expression as well
"So, do you still want to fight or do you want to give me the inheritance?" Li Chen said as he slowly moved towards Zhang Kai
Zhang Kai being a protagonist himself would not just surrender easily, and as he notice Li Chen coming towards him, he decided to prepare a sneak attack
As Li Chen was approaching punching distance, Zhang Kai put all his power in his fist and threw it towards Li Chen

However, in a blink of an eye, blood splattered everywhere and Zhang Kai hand was sliced, separating it from his body
"AHHHHHH" Zhang Kai yelled as he was in so much pain and tears started to drop from his eyes
Seeing the pathetic state of her fiancé, Ye Liuli rushed towards Li Chen with her most powerful sword move "THIS IS FOR KAI'ER"

However, as her sword was about to reach Li Chen, the later raised a finger and shattered the sword
Shocked that her sword move was so easily destroyed, Ye Liuli stood motionless as Li Chen did a roundhouse kick towards her abdomen and sent her flying
"LIULII" Zhang Kai yelled as he saw Ye Liuli crashing towards a pillar and he looked towards the one who was responsible for it
The sight surprised him once again as Li Chen was holding the moon shaped sword that he was supposed to win in the auction some time ago, "YOU-"
But before Zhang Kai could continue with his sentence, Li Chen knocked him unconscious and wiped the dust in his clothes
'clap clap clap'
Sounds of claps were heard in the hall as both Zhang Kai and Ye Liuli are both unconscious, Li Chen turned towards the throne and he saw the illusory figure clapping while smiling
"HAHAHAHA, you are truly worth of my inheritance, here is a gift for you" As the figure spoke those words, a pill that radiated limitless amount of vitality and an egg appeared floating in front of Li Chen
"Take it boy, the pill in front of you contained a part of my blood essence and once you take it, your bloodline will turn into a noble dragon, as for the egg... you will find out yourself HAHAHA" The illusory figure spoke
Hearing the illusory figure, Li Chen grabbed the pill and a huge pillar of light descended on top of the dragon throne, and both the illusory figure and the throne disappeared

Li Chen decided to ignore the system's notification and spoke to the space behind him "Take both of them out of the secret realm and send them to the Jade Palace in Nanjing City"
"Yes Young master" Alpha replied as he grabbed both the unconscious person and disappeared in an instant
"Seeing that there is still a chain quest for that Zhang Kai, I guess I will leave him alive for just some time longer" Taking out his notebook, Li Chen go through the names of protagonists, villains, heroines.
As he read his notebook, he stopped at a name and crossed out a name with his spiritual powers "You are next!"
After that, Li Chen disappeared as he was about to see another show

As the bright pillar descended on the dragon palace, all the people here knew that someone must have entered the palace before them.
Immediately after that, the people in front of the palace rushed inside worried that the inheritance falling into someone else's hands
However, some people were confused as to who might be the one to enter first as the big shots like Tang Lina and co, were still here
As her brother grabbed her hand and rushed inside of the palace, Tang Lina thought of something in her mind "It won't be him right? RIGHT?"
