26 Abel's Hostages( Kinda Filler)

Note: I was stuck inside a bus for 2 hours in traffic. I was bored so I write a chapter that is half -filler xd. Not many action happens in this chapter. You can consider this as a teaser of sorts. I added some OC's but don't worry, they won't be so important. I just added them to make the crew a little more entertaining until Abel collects his real crew one by one. They might not even appear when I write the second volume. İf you like any of them I can keep them though. Anyways, hope you enjoy it. See you in a week. At the entrance of grandline, there is a pirate ship that just entered grandline. On this ship there are around 50 fierce looking pirates of various ages. Most of them are well past their thirties. However they weirdly form a circle as they sat on the floor, looking down with red faces as if they are naughty children that committed a crime. İn the center of this circle there is a young man sitting on his comfy chair drinking wine.

Abel looked at the sky accusingly as he sighed.

' I know I am very handsome... But stop cursing me damn it!'

Abel looked at his crew furiously.

'' You are saying me there is no shipwright, doctor or cook on this ship!? Are you joking with me? When I kidnapped you, you were about to sail to the grandline! Even a 12 year old straw hat kid knows he needs this on his ship!''

The pirates looked down holding their tears.

' Captain... They were killed by you when they tried to escape the ship!'

No one wanted to explain things to the furious madman that killed their captain in one strike though, so they kept looking down and kept crying inside.

'' İf you can't operate the ship what are you useful for!? İf I knew it, I wouldn't steal you! I made such a loss.'' Abel cursed. But one person stood up as he looked at Abel with extremely confident eyes and spoke to him.

'' BOSS! I can fight! I am very strong.'' He said with an eager voice. He was rather handsome, he has a well developed and muscular body, he also had a silly smile on his face. Abel was stunned. Even though this person didn't appear in canon, Abel wouldn't underestimate someone because they were non-canon. Canon was already gone, what if they died early in canon and couldn't show their potentiel? Also in one piece world there are millions of people living, yet there are only around thousand canon characters. İt is normal that there are hidden gems among non-canon characters.

Abel was very interested. 'Did I find a hidden gem?'

'Scan'

'...'

' Hidden gem? What hidden gem!? How is this strong, I can beat you with my pinky!' Abel looked at Bernard with a dark face and commanded.

'' Go outside the circle, kneel down and do some self reflection!''

'' Yes, BOSS!'' Bernard roared happily. He didn't understand why he has to reflect but was happy to obey this strong captain's command. He really admired him in his mind. Abel sighed as he turned to his crew and was about to lecture them again but felt cold shivers on his back as he thought of something. Abel's face grew darker and colder. Crew also realised something was wrong and looked at Abel scared. Abel looked at them in this unconfortable silence as he spoke.

'' Navigator... We have at least a navigator, right?''

'...'

Abel felt his blood pressure rising, he was just a tiny step away from starting a slaughter. But fortunately a woman's voice interrupted him.

'' C-Captain, I-I am a navigator.'' a purple haired young woman spoke timidly as her voice trembled.

'Oh... At least we have a navigator. ' Abel relaxed by a lot after learning the ship at least has a navigator.

'Scan'

'' Good! You are the only useful one here. Come, sit beside me.'' Abel gestured to the floor next to him. Nana was confused but obeyed as she sat on the floor beside Abel. Abel started patting her on the head and playing with her hair immediately and felt relaxed. ' Ah... She is just like a kitten! I decided. İf I get angry in the future I will just pat my navigator on the head!' Abel who loved cats in his past life was very happy and relaxed as he played with his navigator's soft hair.

Nana's face was red as she looked at the floor. She couldn't look at the other crewmembers from emberassment. ' Does he think I am a pet or something!? Even though it doesn't feel too bad...'

Abel who was a little relaxed returned to his nonchalant attidute as he turned towards the crew. He decided to establish rules now. He was about to speak when he noticed a burly tall man at the back of the center and frowned.

'Scan'

'' Why the hell are you on my ship!? Did I invite you?''

' İs this guy get addicted to getting beaten by me?'

This burly tall man was not an unfamiliar figure. He was the person who mocked Abel when he woke up in Alvida's crew. Before Abel came to Alvida's crew he was the number one flatterer on the ship and thus naturally occupied vice-captain position. Then Abel beat him up and trashed him before ditching Alvida's crew. This guy was also the person who noticed Abel's letter was pure nonsense and advised the crew to wait at Loguetown, since most people visit there before going grandline. As for why he is here now...

Roughly 4 hours before this events. Dock of Loguetown.

'' Hahahah, we got a deal! Guys, set sail! I am bored from this small place.''

'' YESS! LET'S GO!'' The crew cheered thunderously at Abel's order. Barbossa's eyes glinted with greed as he saw the gold thrown to the ship by Abel. The pirate captain that was killed by Abel in one hit was also not ordinary, he had a 10 million bounty on his head. Such a bounty would make him a big shot in east blue, yet he was killed in one hit by Abel! The only reason Barbossa joined the rookie Alvida Pirates was because he believed they would become a big deal in east blue sooner or later. But this Abel had even more potential! He could also be rich along the way.

Barbossa turned towards Alvida with a flattering smile.

'' Ah, Captain. You, who shine like a flower amidst all this chaos, your beauty is so dazzling that I can-

'' What do you want!?'' Alvida turned towards him a little annoyed.

'' Captain, I think me and brother Abel is fated. How about we part ways here?'' Barbossa asked carefully. Alvida frowned for a second before smiling dazzlingly.

'' Okay, you can leave.'' Barbossa and even other crewmates were shocked as they looked at their captain. They expected her to be mad. After that Barbossa happily sneaked inside the ship.

Current time.

After hearing Barbossa's story, Abel's face was dark. '' You were the smartest person on the crew! What if some dirty person trick Alvida? You are so selfish! Go outside the circle, kneel down and reflect beside him'' Abel scolded Barbossa fiercely who looked at him dumbly.

' Brother... Can you have any shame? Didn't you also trick her...'

Barbossa could only walk outside the circle,kneel beside Bernard and reflect obediently.

Abel turned towards his crewmembers nonchalantly.

'' Do you remember the time I said you were my temporary crewmates?'' Abel asked calmly.

Everyone nodded a little confused. İt was 4 hours ago, who would forget?

'' Well except for Nana, I am very dissatisfied with you all. You are all demoted. You don't even have the qualifications to be my temporary-crew members. You are demoted to hostages. Well done.''

Abel said as everone looked down ashamed. Abel really thought that this people would only emberass him if they were his temporary crew-mates, thus he created a rank called hostage casually.

'' The demotions are also not over! Some of you will be demoted even further!''

Everyone looked Abel dumbfounded. One of them couldn't help but ask.

'' C-Captain, how can we demoted when we are already hostages?''

'' You can always get demoted to hell. Stop speaking nonsense. Now I will ask you 10 questions, depending on your answers, I will decide if you get demoted to hell.''

'Activate Lie Detector.'

'Lie detector activated. All liars will be detected for 10 minutes.'

'' Just answer with yes or no. I don't want any nonsense. Has any one of you ever raped a kid?''

'' No'' Everyone answered at the same time.

' 2 liars detected.'

Abel swung Aranruth casually and 2 pirates were dead. Whole crew trembled with terror. Nana was especially scared. Since Abel was still patting her with his left hand while his right hand was holding Aranruth. Nana looked at Abel with teary eyes. ' How can he be so casual, while killing! İs it like eating a meal for him?'

'' Throw the bodies to sea, leat's continue. Have you ever betrayed anyone you willingly served?''

'' No''

' 2 liars detected.'

'' Throw the bodies to sea!''

This continued like 9 minutes as Abel asked questions and crew answered obediently. Abel was satisfied with the remaining 38 people and asked a last question as he finished the interrogation.

'' Am I handsome?''

''... Yes.''

'No liars detected.'

' Well, of course.'

Abel looked at his crew who was scared shitless and gave them a warm smile. '' Don't worry, demotions are over. You can keep your hostage status.''

Crew finally let out a sigh of relief. They were very happy when they realized that their captain was strong and rich. But they didn't think his personality was so troublesome. He could kill in the blink of an eye!

'' Anyways, now there is only one test remaining in front of you. İf you pass this test I will consider you the members of this ship. Even if your current status is hostage. You can always work hard and become a temporary-crew member.'' Abel spoke casually.

'' BOSS! How do we become real crewmembers?'' Bernard's shout came outside the circle. Abel looked at him strangely.

'' Don't call me boss. Just call me captain. Anyways first work hard to become a temporary crew member. As for the real crewmember positions, don't think about them for now.'' Abel said relaxed. ' This real crew-member spots are very valuable! They will be the big bosses of my underground empire in the future!'

'' Okay, BOSS!'' Bernard shouted as Abel glared at him. ' Fuck, is he stupid or is he mocking me? Who is boss?'

Barbossa looked at Abel strangely.

'' Captain... There is still one more test...?''

'' Yeah. You will understand it when the time comes. Anyways, let's talk about our goals.'' After Abel said that whole crew was excited. This person came, killed their captain and took the whole crew hostage! He should have some grand ambitions. Even though crew was happy to be rich, pirates are not people satisfied by treasures alone. They want to go on adventures, gain fame and do all sorts of crazy things!

'' Well, we are a travel group. We travel to islands.''

'...' Crew looked at Abel in silence. One of them raised his hand as he asked.

'' Captain... What do we do after traveling to an island?'' Abel looked at the person disdainfully.

'' We travel to another island. İsn't that very obvious?'' ' Otherwise wouldn't my sign-in system be useless?'

Crew's mood went down immediately. ' What use is there in traveling around aimlessly? Aren't you an arrogant and prideful person?'

Abel's face also became dark as he watched his useless crew sigh among themselves. ' Are these bastards looking down on me!?'

'' You want to do something exciting don't you!? Don't worry we will kick ass along the way!'' Abel declared proudly. ' İt is impossible to improve fast without fighting, so this is kinda obvious.

Whole crew cheered as their mood went back up. Bernard cheered the loudest.

'' But... You are very trash now. Even if you can't be as amazing and awesome as me, you should at least try to put in some effort. Otherwise didn't I pay you all that gold for no reason!? I designed a training plan for you. You will practice martial arts on mornings for 4 hours. Afterwards I will teach some of you about swordplay. After that you must train your stamina for 4 hours by running laps around the ship with weights on your shoulders. I will also add some strength and agility exercises as well, you must practice them diligently. After that....''

Crews mood went down immediately again after hearing Abel's plans for them. ' Captain there are only 24 hours a day... Can you calm down..'

Abel didn't realise this and told them about his plans very detailed. This sounded more like a torture to his crew though. Barbossa looked pale, Nana looked like she was about to cry while Bernard was grinning happily. After Abel was done he asked casually.

'' Anyways, do you have any questions left?''

Someone in the crowd asked. '' Captain... What is our groups name?''

'' Well, since we are going to kick ass, let's call it kick-ass travel group!'' Abel answered cheerfully but didn't realise the mood went even more down after this.

Abel felt someone shaking his left hand so he turned to look at him confused.

'' What?''

Nana looked at Abel with teary eyes as she spoke pitifully.

'' Captain... that name is very lame. Please change it, okay?''

Abel was a little speechless. ' İs it really that bad?' Abel looked around and saw that no one met with his eyes and sighed.

'' How about Dark Moon travel group? Do you guys like this name?'' Abel asked. ' Moon for lunarian, dark for underground!'

Whole crew cheered loudly. 'Anything is better than that name....'

Abel looked at his crew with a dark face. ' What was so bad with the last name?'

Abel looked at them in a bad mood. '' Now that the naming is done, let's start the training! Stop wasting time!''

Everyone looked at Abel with pale faces. They didn't want to go through that hellish training so their moods were very low. Barbossa decided to try his chance.

'' You are very wise captain, we indeed need to train. However 14 hours a day is a bit-''

'' What's wrong with 14 hours a day? There are 24 hours a day! You can train for 14 hours, operate the ship for 5 hours by switching, 1 hours of eating and 4 hours of sleeping! Or are you saying you are going to be lazy!? No way! Do you think I invested all that money to you for no reason!?'' Abel scolded his crew fiercely.

Even after the scolding crew's mood hasn't improved. Except for Bernard everyone looked down. Abel looked at them coldly.

'' I see, you guys lack some motivation. I was just thinking about an endurance training program for you but I changed my mind. You want to kick-ass with these trash stats!? I will kick your asses instead. From now on starting from morning until midnight! I will beat anyone who is lazing around. I will improve the power I use every day! İf you don't want to be beaten to death by me, improve yourselves! I will also sneak attack you in your sleep, while you are eating as well. You should improve your wariness too. Also...'' After Abel realised his crew was lazy he was not kind as he added more and more things into the training program.

Nana looked like she was about to faint, Bernard grinned crazily while Barbossa was thinking about his life choices. He really and deeply regretted his decision.

' Dear Captain Alvida. I don't want money and fame anymore... Please let me come back!'
