33 A Strangely Fitting Day

Barbossa immediately hided behind Abel as he watched the rampaging Chopper ran towards them.

'' Bernard, take him down, but no hurting.'' Abel ordered Bernard casually. He made sure to add 'no hurting' in his order. The thing happened just now was really bad for Abel's heart. Bernard let out a cheerful laugh and started to wrestle with the furious Chopper. Rougly 5 minutes later...

'' I won!'' Bernard declared proudly, sitting on top of Chopper's back who is laid on the floor exhausted. Abel sat next to Chopper who was exhausted from rampaging and casually asked.

'' Are you calm, now?''

'' GO AWAY! I HATE YOU HUMANS! WHY DO YOU ALWAYS HUNT ME!'' Chopper shouted hatefully.

'Ding! Relationship formed with Chopper(major character). Current relationship -20(Angry).'

Abel glared at Barbossa. ' I just gave you the rifle, the first thing you do is shoot at Chopper! At least you missed the shot!' Abel was still relatively calm though. Chopper was a very naive person, Abel didn't think it would be too hard to scam relationships from him. Abel gestured to Bernard and Bernard finally stood up from Chopper's back. Abel then laid beside Chopper on the snow and started speaking.

'' Well... I am actually not a human.''

'' What? Really!? But you look just like one.'' Chopper was extremely surprised but still a little doubtful.

'' Yeah, look what I can do.'' Abel showed off his imperial flame as Chopper watched in amazement while rest of the crew frowned. ' İs it true that Captain is not human?'

'' WHOA! Y-You, what are you?'' Chopper asked in amazement and confusion. Abel smiled lightly as he spoke with confidence.

'' I am from Abel race. İt is a very awesome race. The traits are being handsome, cool and doing things that others can't! Unfortunately, I am the only member since if others were to exist we would rule the world!''

The crew who was listening to Abel seriously sighed deeply. ' He was spouting nonsense as usual...'

Chopper became more and more amazed as he listened to Abel but then asked a question.

'' But... Others are humans. Why are you with them?''

'' Well... Those are all bad humans. I didn't want them to hurt others, so I took them hostage.''

'' How amazing! You are like a hero!''

'' Of course! I am one of the greatest heroes in existence along with Sogeking.''

'' Who is Sogeking?''

'' My juniour's friend. He comes from the sniper island, I taught him some moves...''

Just like that, in front of his crew's disdainful gazes, Abel happily cheated relationships from Chopper. Roughly 15 minutes later...

'Relationship updated with Chopper(major character). Current relationship +40(amazement).'

Abel took a sip from his wine and was about to continue scamming Chopper but a voice cut him off.

'' Chopper, get up. We need to get supplies from the town, turn into your deer form. And you... Who are you, boy?''

Abel looked up from where he laid down and saw Dr Kureha. Abel immediately started flattering in a good mood.

'' Ah, such a beauty. You look just like you are in your twenties, I wonder what is the secret of your youth?''

Kureha looked at him stunned and then started laughing.

'' Boy, you have a sweet tongue. Since you asked nicely, I will tell you. Remember first you...''

Abel just asked casually for fun since this was Kureha's line in the anime and even when she offered, no one was curious enough to listen her. He was stunned when Kureha seriously started to give him a medicine formula!

'' Nana, write this down! Be quick!'' Abel ordered excitedly. ' Did I just gain 50 years of lifespan by flattery? Ah... I hope this formula is true!''

After a few more minutes of speaking they went to the town to get supplies for Kureha with Chopper in deer form. Abel was very disappointed when he learned Dr. Hiluluk died 2 weeks ago. ' I could gain tons of relationship by saving him!' Even though he was sick and would die anyway, Abel could use him to farm Chopper. Right now, Kureha was still hiding and Chopper was just accepted by her as a student. They were in the hiding since Wapol didn't want any other doctors than his 50 experts to exist. Even though Hiluluk was dead Abel was happy there was still a way to farm relationship with Chopper.

'' Don't worry. I am a great hero that destroys all evil! You will not see Wapol anymore when I leave this country.'' Abel heroicly declared.

Kureha looked at him weirdly while Chopper's eyes shined brightly. His crew looked at him even more disdainfully.

' Hero? You?'

Abel started walking towards Wapol's castle immediately and the crew followed him without asking much. They were getting used to Abel's crazy ideas. ' Beating up a king? No big deal, we were going to rob another one anyway...'

Chopper who turned into his mini-form looked at Abel with teary eyes.

'' Y-You will really beat Wapol?''

'' Of course! How can a hero like me ignore such evil!? I will beat some sense into him! He shall not disturb anyone in this country again!'' Abel declared proudly. Afterwards Abel left while his crew helplessly followed him. Nana couldn't help but ask Abel.

'' Captain, why are we even bothering? This is not like you...''

Abel looked at her disdainfully. ' How can I not farm a relationship with a major character?'

'' I am naturally a very kindhearted person, stop speaking nonsense. Let's go.''

Abel of course didn't climb the mountain like straw hats and just used the thing that rises by ropes.( that author forgot what it's called, lol)

'' Hey! Who are you!? How dare you come up without permisson!'' The guards of castle started shouting but it didn't take long for their voices to disappear.

' Formless Sword Art'

Abel casually walked by the corpses as if nothing happened and kicked the castle's gate open. Screams were heard through the castle as soldiers tried to attack Abel and the others but were helplessly killed. After a minute Abel finally arrived in front of Wapol.

'' Who are you fool!? Do you not know who I am? I am the king! Kneel down immediately!'' Wapol started shouting as Abel sighed inside. ' Early villains really are stupid.' Abel unhurriedly took out his comfy char from his space ring and sat down. Then he took out a soft pillow and put behind his head as he sipped his wine.

'' Write a will that declares you give your throne to Dalton and I will spare your life.'' Able casually declared.

Wapol's face turned red from fury.

'Ding! Relationship formed with Wapol(minor character). Current Relationship -40(Furious).'

'' Kill him!'' Wapol ordered to his 2 subordinates but before they could do anything one of them was killed by Nana who cut his opponent's throat while the other was dead by a bullet from Barbossa.

Abel sighed and ordered Bernard.

'' Go, torture him.''

'' Yes, BOSS!'' Bernard didn't question and immediately started beating Wapol up who screamed and ordered other soldiers of kingdom to attack. Unfortunately soldiers were too scared to kove and didn't obey this time. Abel actually didn't like torturing. He found it very inefficent. İt took so much time and effort. İt was easier to manipulate or trick the opponents for him. But for a stupid and arrogant person like Wapol this was much more efficent. Abel didn't want to communicate with a moron for a long time.

'' Be more creative! You are just hitting his face!'' Abel was a little dissatisfied. 'Torture should be more painful and efficent! Otherwise it would take too much time!'

Bernard was confused since he didn't know what torture was actually. He just thought it was the same as beating someone up. Barbossa looked interested as he asked Abel.

'' Ah, captain... may I have a go? I am a little interested.''

'' Go, go! Be quick!'' Abel agreed immediatelty. Cavendish also looked impatient and bored as he just took out a handmirror and started fixing his hair. Nana was busy cleaning her claws on the snow. No one was really interested on watching the torture. Barbossa took out 5 weird metalic thing and started to experiment on Wapol interestedly. After 5 minutes of Barbossa taking over Wapol broke down finally.

'Relationship updated with Wapol(minor character). Current Relationship -60'

'' AHHH! STOP, STOP!. İf... İf I write the will... Can I live?'' Wapol asked with tears and blood on his face. Barbossa looked disappointed. 'I still haven't tried the interesting ones...'

Abel's cold face disappeared as a warm smile appeared on his face.

'' Of course! I will let you leave this island safely. I promise you. Don't worry, I never break my promises.''

Wapol nodded as he immediately wrote the will that Abel wanted. Abel checked the will carefully, signed in with Wapol and then killed him with Aranruth. No one on the crew were surprised by the outcome.

'' Well, clean this place up and then we will call Chopper and Kureha.'' Abel declared as he went to the dungeons to find Dalton. Dalton was chained in a cell in sitting position. Abel melted the cell's bars and dropped the will in front of him.

'' Y-You? What does this mea-''

'' Congrulations, you are the new king. Someone very handsome decided to help you out. Can you guess who?'' Abel talked happily as he boasted himself a bit. After the castle was cleaned Abel lied on the snow and waited for Chopper and Kureha to arrive. Abel decided to check the reward from Wapol but surprisingly got another notification as well.

'Congrulations for signing in with Wapol(minor character). Hunger(unique grade) skill rewarded.'

' Congrulations for sgining in on a permanently snowy island and reaching the special conditions to update special skill Weather Manipulation'. Snowstorm function added to the skill.'

'Hunger(unique): Eating a lot of food will refill a small amount of stamina.'

' So I can update weather manipulation by signing in on islands with different climates. İt's not that hard.'

While Abel was thinking Chopper and Kureha arrived. Chopper looked at Abel with amazement.

'' YOU REALLY BEAT WAPOL! YOU REALLY ARE A HERO! W-What happened to Wapol?'' Chopper started speaking excitedly but then asked nervously.

'' Ah... After I beat him up, I spoke some sense to him. He realized he was very dumb and decided to not be king anymore. He chose a new king and then left. He won't come back again.'' Abel lied casually. Chopper was relieved by the explanation.

'Relationship updated with Chopper(major character). Current relationship +65.'

' Well, I will sign in when I farm him to 100. A major character can't be wasted casually! Leave a spatial mark here.'

' Place marked. Remaining marks 7. Marked placed: Cocoyashi Village, Drum Kingdom.'

Abel was satisfied from his harvest here and threw a snowball at mini Chopper, making him fall inside the snow.

'' Hahahaha, I challenge you to a duel at snowball! Do you dare!?''

'' Y-You sneak attacked! That's not fair!''

Chopper immediately turned into his big form and started throwing snowballs. Abel counterattacked happily.

'' You should always be ready for a sneak attack! Villains never fight fairly, that's what I learned on my hero days...''

'' İs that right?''

And thus they threw snowballs at each other under the stunned gazes of Abel's crew.

Barbossa's eyes were slightly open as he watched them. He couldn't help but mutter.

'' Holy shit. İs this really him...''

Nana was also stunned but accepted it and sneak attacked Abel with a snowball immediately.

Bernard wisely nodded. '' BOSS likes kids!''

Cavendish who was bored was asleep for a while and missed the action.

A few minutes later Nana and Chopper were buried under the snow.

'' You thought you could beat me 1v2!? A real hero can fight against the odds!'' Abel boasted immediately. After playing around for a while Abel visited the 50 expert doctors and asked them casually.

'' Who wants to join my crew?''

They looked at Abel terrified. They were there when Abel and his crew tortured and killed Wapol. They knew that this person who played around on the snow just now was extremely dangerous. No one spoke for a few seconds. Abel sighed as he opened his space ring and lots of gold fell on the floor. 50 doctor's eyes turned bright as Abel declared.

'' I am rich.''

İn the end doctor's nearly started beating each other up for the position as Abel choose a random one among them. After that they slowly walked towards the ship.

'' BOSS! This bear just nodded at me! Does he want to wrestle too?'' Bernard asked confused.

'' Nah, these are hiking bears. Just nod him back.''

Bernard didn't ask as he nodded at the bear as they left in silence again. The silence was comfortable though. No one had anything to say. They came, tortured a king, played on the snow and were leaving. Strangely this felt fitting to them. After a few more minutes of walking they finally reached their ship.

'' Someone woke this idiot up!'' Abel declared.

Bernard didn't question him as he kicked at Cavendish who was still sleeping and was dragged here by Barbossa.

'' Ah! Which fucker was it!?'' Cavendish roared.

'' ME!'' Bernard proudly declared. Cavendish sighed as he looked at Bernard's naive face and didn't want to fight with him. He just glared at Abel, since he knew it was his order.

'' Our next destination is the Kingdom of Alabasta. Dark Moon, set sail!'' Abel ordered with a hearty laugh. The crew operated the ship as they felt their hearts speed up with excitement. They knew this would be a great step towards their future! As for where that step would take them or the world... that's something no one knows yet.

Note: Next chapter will be the start of Alabasta arc. İt will be the longest and most chaotic arc I write so far.
