Niveus tried to tore me away from his arm, but i stubbornly clung onto it like my life depends on it, 

He shook his arm but i was still glued digging my claw even deeper so i don't go flying in the air.

"What an Insolent stubborn piece of shit! "

'Says the 7-day rotten pile of shit' I retorted in the language he can't understand.

"Fine! "

He gave me a terrifying smirk as he told me " If you like me so much that we should play right Leonore? "

Watching the madness swirling in his eyes, I shook like leaf in wind.

In the Novel, Leonore' origin was secret to everyone except her father Duke Gilbert Ashenhurst , Master of The Tower and the Crown Prince Niveus.

She was the lone descent of a lowly shape-shifter tribe, that were wiped off the face of the whole continent in a battle against humans.

The night she turned 17,her body started to go through agonising pain, instinctively she ran towards the woods to change near an isolated place, to find the stream of Chanuk. The river that is said to have some medicinal power as it flows directly from the Mountains of something I don't remember.

She returned home and the same night she went berserk on her Step Mother and killed her. It was just the beginning of her murder streaks.

"Here kitty kitty"

Niveus dangled a feather wand in front of my face.

I looked between the excited psychopath child and the wand and sighed. I must bear with it.

I have to do my best to convince him that I am not a shape-shifter Villainess. Hopefully I am not.

Here goes my dignity into the water.

I jumped around it, giving my best to catch it. It was annoying that he kept pulling it away just when I was about to get my hands on it.

He was laughing hysterically, as if my hopping was the funniest thing in the world.

Since he assumed that I am that rude and arrogant Leonore, I can understand why he find this lame show funny.

"Aaarhhhh!!!! F*ck it, I give up"

I got frustrated so just turned away and started licking my paws.

"Hmm.. "

He moved it in my face again, this time little lower than before, easily approachable.

I was annoyed so instead of feathers, I caught his hand and chomped it with all my might.

He wailed and started shaking his hands aggressively making me flay to the North,

I squeezed my eyes shut anticipating my ass to hit the floor and break into 4 but that never happened.

I peeked to find myself enveloped in the familiar blue light, floating in the air.

Niveus was leaning back against his throne-like chair. He twirled his finger in the air, levitating me back to him.

'That was so cool'

He caught me in his hands and glared at me.

"What an annoying thing, if I wanted I could have erased your existence with the snap of my fingers so stop being stubborn and get back to your original form Leonore"

"Meow!? " I blinked back innocently at him. Even if I really am Leonore, I don't know how to shift back.

" I will kill you if you don't"

I even went as far as awkwardly rubbing my chin on his hands and licked it.

'Disgusting' I couldn't stop myself from making a puke-face.

Niveus had the same expression as mine as he watched me act "cute". His eyes twitched.

suddenly I was interrupted by a low, ominous rumbling sound. Exchanging puzzled glances with the Prince. I was take aback more by the fact that even he was capable to make such face. The floor beneath, began to tremble and shake violently, the wall

When I looked at the Prince again, his eyes we're already had a factory reset, he looked completely as bored like before, as if he was very used to such calamities.

Oh no, no, no.. When earthquake comes you don't get used to it, YOU RUN!

I tried to run away from his hands but the grip only tightened.

"Quiet!! "

"Ack"

The walls vibrated and the books toppled from shelves, ornaments clattered to the ground, and dust billowed up in thick clouds as the room was engulfed in chaos.

my heart pounding in my chest, as the room started to lurch and sway like food in a malfunctioning microwave.

What kind of earthquake is this!?

I watched in disbelief as the furniture slid across the floor, crashing into walls and each other. The entire room seemed to rotate, turning in slow, dizzying circle.

Then, as suddenly as it had begun, the movement ceased. I blinked, trying to make sense of what I was seeing. Half of the room had vanished, replaced by an office that had never been there before. A sleek desk sat in the center, surrounded by shelves lined with books and strange, weird antique pieces.

I rubbed my eyes, convinced I was hallucinating. But no matter how hard I tried to rationalize it, the office remained, as solid and real as the ground beneath my feet.

Did we get teleported into someone's office?

Niveus mumbled a low curse " Do you have to put up a lame show like this whenever I summon you? What are you 5? "

Even though he said that he was unbothered.

Somebody laughed.

'It wasn't even funny'

The chair behind the table turned dramatically and a hooded guy revealed itself.

His hoodie covered most of his face but I can tell he was handsome by his chiselled jaw and lean ripped chest, that was specifically showing. His  lustrous gold-like strands were peeking out of hoodie.

I have a hunch of who this guy might be.

"I was just trying to give you a delightful experience" He said casually "wasn't it fun? "

" Are all the wizards uneducated in common curtsey in greeting the Crown Prince of the Empire? "

The said wizard laughed "Greetings to your highness the super sun of The Empire by the most powerful wizard Ever"

'The genius arc Wizard Isiah Vermont' another prominent character of the novel. Another love intrest of heroine, that hated Leonore.

At this point all i can hope that these two morons break into a fight and kill each other and I can just leave.

"You-

" Oh my, what do we have here? " He leaped "what a man like you doing with a strange cat? "

Am I that distinct?

Right, black cats were extinct in this Empire thanks to the vendetta against shape-shifters and witches.

I was tossed like ball towards him which thankfully he caught proficiently with his left hand.

Unlike Niveus picked me with both his hands

"I found it in the Meadows of West Forest"

"Nothing special"

"Look closely! "

He removed his hoodie without warning instantly killing me.

The light coming from the windows illuminated his beautiful ivory skin, the golden hair that spun sunlight, nearly blinding the beholder, it shaded the crimson orbs that reminded me of blood ruby.

An unworldly beauty that can cause deaths just by appearing in broad daylight.

'Wow... ' I can't help but stare at this god-like man as he moved his red lips to form foreign words.

"I don't find anything special about it"

He announced

"You don't? Don't you feel any dark rotten magical energy in it? "

"Nope,  this fellow is completely ....." He smirked at me before saying "normal"

I let out a sigh of relief. I am not that cursed Villainess.

Niveus didn't seems to be satisfied with the answer.

"Isn't it odd that this is right time for her to shift and this cat has the same golden eyes"

"It is just a normal cat and you wasted my time just to confirm it"

"You get paid for that so shut up or I will pull all my money out of that stinky tower"

"Aww ...You are mad that this cat isn't your beloved leonore" The wizard laughed, the sound tickled my ear pleasantly

"What kind of kink is that? Let me tell you in advance I don't have cure for that disease"

Niveus gave him a death glare "as if, get the hell out of here before I decide to cut the amount from your pocket for destroying my room"

"Ouch, so stingy" But he laughed at Niveus face

Before he left, he gave a offer to take me away. I was willing to take it wholeheartedly but for some reason Niveus rejected it.

He decided to keep me here for some more time. He still wasn't convinced.

The room was back to normal axis except for the destruction that he caused.

Now, I was left alone with the maniac prince looking at me grimly.

I am not leonore get over it! '

"So you really are not that woman" He spooked me out saying the most ominous thing" Then I can just finish you right away"

And that's how my second life ended.
