"You're adorable yourself, you know," Nao spoke somewhat sheepishly. "Listen, please, I didn't know what the three of you had going on exactly, and I don't want to make you uncomfortable or any-"

"Just relax," Hina said calmly, smiling. "Emily was mostly pulling your leg on joining our little harem, although nobody is going to stop you, in the same breath, and it may be more comfortable for you if you do~ now, do you think we could go clothes shopping, at some point? First, the two of them ended up in a boutique, with plans to simply run their things to the inn before going out for the rest of the day.

The lantern Ghost's hair was loose, and she wore a white miniskirt with tight half pants underneath, shoes reminiscent of an Earth sneaker, and a sports bra. It suited her; Nao had just enough tone to pull of the sporty girl look.

"It's a bit embarrassing, but good for working out in."

"Wear it the rest of the day, then~"

"Alright, if you wear the outfit I chose~!"

"Sure thing, girl, but remember who's in charge here," Hina spoke with a light smirk, unaware of the eerie look it gave her, just then.

"Let's... keep shopping~"

Eventually, though, they returned to the inn, and Hina held out her arms. "Give me your bags, I'll take them up to the room, and be right back."

"As you say~" Nao grinned and forked her load over. "Should I be adding a mistress onto the end of my sentences, or?" This bit was posed as a question, and Hina found herself laughing without answering as she turned and made her way upstairs. Just as the Summoned Hero was setting their bags in the corner, a splitting pain lanced through her, and she gasped silently, collapsing to her knees and not feeling the jolt of pain that this should have caused.

"Hang in there..." Hina thought she heard an unknown woman's voice. "You can't die on us yet." The pain was growing, making her blood boil and her very bones creak; Hina gagged, digging her fingers into the floor until the wood creaked and cracked a bit, until blood dripped from her bottom lip.

"Th-The... hell... help..." Hina felt woozy, and tried to push herself to her feet only to fail, collapsing into the bed. The next second, Hina was walking down the street with Nao, clean, both of them wearing the outfits they'd chosen for each other, Hina's hair tied in a loose bun and Nao's hanging free. Was she dreaming?

"Yes?" the Lantern Ghost smiled shyly, her cheeks a rosy shade of pink.

"Never... never mind," Hina said slowly, confused beyond the stars. Was she asleep?! It didn't feel like she was asleep, but she'd just passed out in bed!

"Are you sure?" Nao seemed concerned. This... wasn't a dream, Hina was fairly sure by now. The ground was perfectly solid underfoot, a breeze brushed her cheeks and she was thinking entirely too clearly to be asleep.

"Yeah, I'm alright, I promise." Hina smiled, glancing down at herself. She was wearing one of her knives, just like before; truly, she was a bit nervous after being attacked, and right now, she felt more nervous than usual, her heart thudding wildly. In fact, how had Hina blacked out for so long; judging by the sun, it was probably at least four forty in the afternoon or so.

"Hina, if you want to head back to the inn..."

"No." Hina's voice was firm. "I'm sorry, I just... I wasn't paying attention. Where were we headed?"

It was a nice place, like a cross between an American diner sixty years ago and a cliché fantasy tavern. Nao led the way, taking a seat at a table for two, and kicking the other chair so that it slid out just as Hina reached it.

"Yeah, we are! It's so strange, leaving the home town, but it's better than having half of Starria fall on our little home..." Nao laughed, lying naturally for relatively obvious reasons.

"I can imagine! Well, we're more than glad to have you here. Hopefully I'll be seeing your faces around more often?"

"Well, my friend and I were thinking of trying out adventuring... so, maybe once in a while," Nao offered, sounding a bit put off. The server only smiled.

"Come here, Nao." Emily said it with a smile, holding out a hand. Looking confused, Nao walked over, only to gasp as she was slammed on her back.

"What-?!" Nao groaned in confusion as Emily forcefully stripped her down, leaving the Lantern Ghost naked.
