1 Chapter 1

(Hello reader. Im quite slow at telling stories and add way to much detail so if you want to skip boring backstory skip to chapter 7, if you want to skip straight to her death then chapter 18 is where you should go)

Dear Diary

My therapist says I should write in a diary so I will because I can't really talk to anyone else about it, So I might be cursed because bad things always follow me and almost all the people I care about have died. The first example of my curse was when I was born, I strangely remember that day although very vaguely and some things are blurry but I've been able to put the missing pieces together with stories I've been told. My mother died giving birth to me but the thing that makes it worse is she could've survived but there was a chance of me dying so my mother faced her fate head-on with a smile. Her last and my first moments were her holding me with a smile and kissing my forehead and saying things like

"You're so pretty" or "You're going to grow up and be beautiful when you grow up".

The entire time I was smiling and laughing until her last breath. After a few minutes of the doctors trying to save my mom and her telling them she was fine and she rather spend her last few moments with her family so they agreed to leave her alone and told my father and brother what was happening, after a minute they let my father and brother in. As soon as they walked in my father ran to my mother and hugged her with tears in his eyes, he paid me no attention as if I wasn't there in my mother's arms. My mother gave him a stern look and grabbed him by the ear with the little strength she had left.

"Kazuki!"

My father looked at her with a confused and distressed look on his face.

"Ow, what's wrong Kanna?"

"Back up I'm holding the baby you dolt"

My father backed away with a slightly spiteful look in his eyes

"Oh, sorry"

I'm sure at the time he was thinking "So that's why my wife has to die, it's not fair why does she have to die so that baby can live". My other looked at my brother and waved him over. My brother who at the time was six didn't completely know what was happening but knew it was bad due to our father's reaction. Once my brother got to our mother his eyes immediately lit up once he saw me.

"Mom, is this my little sister?"

"Yes sweetheart, but I need to tell you something and you have to promise me you're going to be a big boy about it."

Still a little confused about what was going on but he still agreed. After hearing him agree our mother let out a sigh.

"Good, William I'm sorry. I wish I could explain this in a way you could understand but I can't, but I won't be able to play with you or see you grow up or marry I'll miss everything important in your life and I'm sorry for that but you have to take care of your sister and protect her when you father isn't around. Oh and her name is Lillith."

William didn't completely understand what our mother said so he decided to ask a question

"Mom, are you going somewhere? Why can't we go with you? Why do I have to-"

Our mother tried her best not to cry but still couldn't stop her tears from flowing.

"I'm so sorry William if it was somewhere I could take you I would but it isn't. Kazuki you should already know what I'm going to say but take care of both of them and don't blame Lillithwe knew this might happen when I got pregnant. I love you all."

With those words, my mother took her final breath, and my father and brother who just understood what had happened started crying. I didn't understand the situation but knew something was wrong with her because everyone else crying so I started crying and wouldn't calm down no matter what anyone tried, my father tried everything he could think of so my brother tried to hold me and with one look of him I stopped. I honestly don't understand why I stopped but our family thinks it was because he kinda looked like our mom when he was little.
