Early in the morning a young Cat Kin boy wakes up, his ocean blue hair a bedraggled mess. Opening the system mirror, he starts taming his hair as his reflection stared back at him. Looking at back at him, his faintly shimmering eyes are only faintly discernable to the most observant of possible bystanders. After taking a more thorough look at the system Alex froze in place realizing that he was finally five years old. The options of the system are finally available to him.

System Store:

The system store has a variety of different products. The catch though is that you have to either be in a specific realm, or the stage before it to have access to certain products. For products of the Foundation realm, you have to first become eight years of age to purchase. For future realms you can purchase their products when you are one small stage below the realm and above. You can sell things to the store, at a lower price than you'd be able to sell in real life. You can to earn system currency through this method as well as doing quests go there for more information.

Quests: !New quest available!

This is where you will receive quest to help you progress. These can range from quest you pick up in your future sects, to personalized quests from the system. Depending on which type, you may or may not receive system currency but other rewards. These rewards come from the vast and expansive gardens and mines of Isekai Incorporated. Remember with the quest system, nothing will be impossible to you.

After checking the description of the quest bar Alex decided to take a look at what the new quest he got was related to. Going through that line of though he went and opened it.

Quest: Martial Foundation

-In order to build up a great theoretical and martial foundation for your future path, you need to comprehend many martial arts. These martial arts will be the foundation that you lay for your future path.

Main Goal: Learn 24 Foundational Martial arts to perfection.

Sub Goal: Do so by the age of 8

Rewards: Gain 12 Low grade Martial arts that combine these 24, as well as 100 system coins when each reaches perfection. If done by 8 meridians will be improved.

Seeing the quest available to him Alex was absolutely ecstatic. It was day one and he was already able to get a quest. Not only that but it was one that was able to improve his meridians. This only proved how hard it would be to do by then though, but that only ignited his passion even more. The excitement almost got ahead of him, but he still decided to read through the rest of the descriptions.

Martial Arts Creation:

This is a sub routine of this system, and it can either be activated in conjunction with other parts of the system or manually. An example is how you can have them merge as part of a quest reward, otherwise it requires system currency. In short it merges the insights of similar martial arts into one, and makes them more suitable for the host. The more the host comprehends the techniques the less it costs. It also adds the benefit of analyzing higher grade techniques and upgrading current martial arts to that level, this is rather expensive though. Usually twice the price that it would cost to purchase a technique of similar quality from the system.

Bloodline Creation:

This is a purely passive subroutine of the system. It will give host the benefit of a bloodline in line with the martial arts they are cultivating. It will be unique to host and will be passed onto hosts descendants.

Mail Box:

Here is where you will receive your mission rewards, store purchases and the previously received reincarnation purchases.

It didn't take Alex very long to go through the descriptions of the functions, as they were all very short and concise. Three minutes tops to finish reading them all. Once he was done he knew that he would finally be able to go forward in his path.

"Alex we have a gift for you, it's actually fairly simple," his mom said to him while they were having breakfast. Just then his dad chimed in just after.

"This is actually the traditional gift for when a child turns five. Go ahead and open it."

After receiving the small parcel wrapped in brown paper, he gently opened it. Inside were two pairs of martial robes, each seemed to be made for a boy and girl. Putting on the set for a boy Alex turned around and said thank you to both of them and hugged them. After he finished having breakfast he made his way over to the martial arts library of their Davis branch family.

As Alex walks into the building he saw a few rows of books, and while it couldn't compare to the main family in quality or quantity it was still plenty. At least here in their branch family, most of what they had was foundational and low tier martial arts with a few mid tier. With these thoughts in mind he heads to where the foundational martial arts are.
