The Queen Has Strange Tastes?

Since they couldn't find a way to enter the house the group began to search the yard for more clues. Some chairs and tables were placed in the courtyard for the queen to sit. Behind her stood Commander Zig with a gloomy face and John, who was looking pitifully at him.

A maid came and served tea to the queen.

The queen took a sip and looked at the guards who searched the courtyard.

While looking at the courtyard she noticed the swing attached to a tree at the side of the yard. Then she also noticed the said tree. Something about the tree felt odd. It's as if the tree was calling out to her.

'No, no, no, what am I thinking, I have a husband.' She shook her head.

"Hey you there, go check out that tree over there." She said to a guard.

"As you wish Your Highness." The guard nodded.

Commander Zig and Zohn also took notice of the queen's sudden interest. They looked at the guard who was approaching the tree and was generally interested in what piqued the queen's interest.

As the guard tried to reach a tree and voice called out to them.

"I would advise not to do that."

The voice instantly garnered everyone's attention. Mainly because the voice sounded extremely erie and the voice despite being erie contained a profound sense of authority.

Everyone looked towards the direction of the voice and noticed a woman standing on the rooftop of the house.

Dark hair and eyes that seemed to contain twinkling stars in them, tall stature, and an indifferent face.

It was obviously Astra. She had been hunting in the forest farming EP when she noticed some intruders in her master's territory. She had decided to ignore them since humans are worthless and don't give much EP. Until the humans decided to come to the shrine and mess around.

She was clearly annoyed.

"Who are you? Do you know you are in the presence of Her Majesty the Queen? Come down here and kneel!" Commander Zig Shouted at Astra.

But after a few moments had passed Astra didn't do anything and kept staring at them with her indifferent face.

"You…" This made Commander Zig angry. He was a commander of a nation, who enjoyed specialized privileges all the time. But today not only did he lose to a door he also found someone who doesn't care to hear his words. This of course made him furious.

"Guards, take her down!!!" He commanded the available twenty or so guards to attack.

The queen was taken to the back as a formation was made. The guards took out their crossbows and some took out their staffs and pointed at Astra.

*phew *phew *phew

Several spells and arrows were thrown at Astra. Astra seeing this shook her head and said,

"They're hopeless."

*crackle *groom

Suddenly a giant root came out of the ground and blocked the incoming attacks.

The next moment several black roots came out of the ground and clinged onto the soldiers and everyone on the ground.

"What the…"

"What is this?"

"Ahrg…!!!"

"It hurts!!!"

Several screams were heard as the roots revealed spiraled mouths and eyes.

"Ahhh!!! Save me!!!"

"I don't want to die!!!"

The people beneath screamed in pain as the roots started to eat them alive. The teeth were not sharp either. Instead of cutting them open the teeth were crushing their meat slowly, which made the process that much more painful. Commander Zig tried to retaliate but was killed instantly by a root that pierced his abdomen. John was also trying to retaliate but as a tank, he could only sit and wait for his death in agonizing pain.

"Argh… you what did you? Yo… you monster!!! Do you know who I am? I am the queen of the Kingsman kingdom." The queen was trying to intimidate Astra with her identity.

Astra looked at the stranded queen indifferently.

"Sorry, I must have missed the part where I show any concern."

"You… do you have any idea what you're saying? My husband rules a whole nation. He can send legions of soldiers here and wipe you out with ease."

Astra was about to eliminate her for she was too noisy when she stopped.

"Stop," Astra said, her eyes showing interest in what the Queen said.

At Astra's words, the roots stranding the queen stopped.

"How many soldiers can he send?" Astra said while looking at the queen.
