40 Shidare Sakura
"Hehe, that was kinda good. No wonder rich people like to throw money around so much." Sakura flexed her limbs as she came out of the store. She just bought a buttload of magic books. Although it may seem like a waste Sakura had thought it through before buying these. She was immortal. So, These many books ought to help her in the long run.
"Anyway, what's our next destination?"
< The adventurers guild. >
"Oh, yes. That one. Let's go and sign up as an adventurer." Sakura started her journey again. Buying food from roadside stalls and taking pictures with her Polaroid camera.

In Fredric's mansion,
*bang!!!*
Fredric slammed the vase on the wall. "What do you mean you
can't find her!!! Why do you think I give you salary for.!!!" Fredric shouted out of anger. The knight captain had a grim face.
"Sir, we searched everywhere we could, but it's as if she disappeared into thin air." The guard captain tried to reason.
"Fool, how can a person disappear into thin air. You are the one incompetent enough to not be able to catch a little girl."
"Sir, we..."
"Shut up!!! Don't show your face to me unless you find her." Fredric shouted.
"Yes, sir." The knight captain said as he made his way out of the room. Closing the door behind him he couldn't help but cause internally. 'Damn it, I've been serving you for twenty years. And this is how you treat me.'
He wanted to quit this job long ago but held back since the salary was good. However, Fredric's insult today made him turn a little rebellious.
He took a deep breath and started walking. Sakura had given him a lot of problems this time. So, he was adamant about finding her even if it meant it was the last job he did.
"Hm?" while walking the knight captain noticed a strange man coming from his front.
The man wore a black suit and pants. He had a slim and tall body and long black hair protruding out of his hair. What's weird was that the man was wearing a clown mask. Yeah, a clown mask of all things.
The knight captain had seen this man before. In fact a couple of times in the past. He had some kind of business relationship with Fredric. Though the knight captain could guess what business was happening. Around a year ago this man whose name was Jester showed up. From then on Fredric has been creating an underground secret dungeon. The knight captain doesn't know the specifics of why it was being built but he knows what was in there.
"Excuse me, good sir. Do you know where Mister Fredric is? " Jester asked in a very polite voice. So, polite that the knight captain felt a chill run down his spine.
"Ye...yes. The lord is in his office." The knight captain said as he pointed towards Fredric's office.
"Thank you, Sir." Jester gave the knight captain a courteous bow and went on his way.
"Creepy." The knight captain muttered seeing the departing figure of Jester.

Back in Fredric's office,
*Knock!!! Knock!!! Knock!!!*
Fredric heard someone knocking.
"Come in."
*Clank!*
Fredric found Jester coming in and his bad mood already become worse.
"What do you want?" He said in an annoying tone.
Jester gave a courteous greetings. "Good morning Mr. Fredric. I was here to know if you had found the white-haired girl."
Jester had contacted him a few days ago wanting to capture a white-haired girl who was in Fredric's territory. So, now Fredric not only had to find Sakura but also this white-haired girl as well. Fredric can't refuse since Jester is from an evil organization called the Blood Messengers. Fredric and the blood messengers had been collaborating for a while now. But if words got out of this matter things would get messy for Fredric.
"No, we looked everywhere but we couldn't find her," Fredric said nonchalantly. Truthfully he had been spending more of his resources in finding Sakura than the white haired girl.
"I see. That is so saddening. Can I ask for sir Fredric to increase the search area?"
"Tch, fuking do it yourself." Fredric said in an irritated tone.
"I see, It seems I am bothering Sir Fredric too much. I will take my leave then." Jester politely said and made his way out of the room.
"Fuking rats," Fredric said in a tone that Jester could hear it. But Jester didn't rebel or say anything.

In the adventurers guild,
"What? I can't?" Sakura looked at the receptionist with a questioning gaze.
"No, mam you can't apply for your adventurer's license without prior training." The receptionist answered in a professional voice.
"And where do I get this training?"
"You have to enroll in our training program and graduate in six months. Would you like to sign up for the training program?"
"No, that won't do." Sakura denied. She barely had three days left. So, the six months training program is a no-go for her.
"Would you like to know anything else, mam?" The receptionist asked.
"No, that's all." Sakura moved away from the line making way for the people behind her.
"Well, that was a dud." Sakura walked out of the adventurers guild. According to what the receptionist told her, anyone can not just come in and become an adventurer. Proper training was needed before anyone was given their first mission.
'Is there a reason behind this restriction?'
< Most probably to prevent young adventurers from blindly jumping into dangerous places. >
Sakura thought about it for a moment. What Astra said was indeed correct. If you want someone to do dangerous tasks then it's better to give them training first.
However, that means Sakura can not become an adventurer at this moment.
"Well, what now?" Sakura had planned to register as an adventurer and do some missions. But now, she didn't have anything else to do.
'Let's walk around the city a bit.' Sakura thought. Who knows maybe she will stumble upon something interesting.
As Sakura walked through the streets she suddenly remembered something.
"Hey, Astra. What happened to the evolution thingy." Sakura nearly forgot she had an evolutionary tree.
"Status," she said out loud.

"Then don't explain." Sakura wasn't good at handling complex matters. Especially science and stuff. Let alone magical evolution.

"Shidare Sakura? Oh! come on I don't cry....That much."
