1 A lonely life...........

Morning comes as the morning sun slowly rise up in the sky, giving light and warmth to the land below

*Bzzz* *Bzzz*

In a dark room a buzz of an alarm clock can be heard and the faint sound of a 17 year old girl with black hair and black eyes who is softly breathing as slept soundly on her bed.

*Bzzz* *Bzzz*

...

The girl didn't react as there was no signs of her waking up.

*Bzzz* *bzzz*

...

*Bzzz**Bzzz*

"Mmmm?"

As the alarm kept buzzing, this slowly but surely interrupted the sleep of the girl causing her to wake up with a bit of annoyance.

"Urgghhhh...."

She slowly opened her eyes and brought her arm towards the desk where the alarm clock was buzzing.

"Noisy...."

She mumbled in an annoyed tone of voice.

*Bzz

She pressed a button to stop the buzz and then got up from bed before stretching as she lazily sat up with her eyes still sleepy.

"Morning already?..."

She looked at the window that was covered by a curtain and saw the ray of light seeping in the corner. 

She stayed still in her bed trying to compose herself for the new morning. And after a while she then finally felt the urge to get moving.

"...I need to get ready for school."

She moved and got off from her bed. She walked towards the light switch near the door and turned on the lights. After that, she walked towards her desk with a mirror and took a sit.

She took a look at herself in the mirror with a blank face and released a deep sigh.

"...Today let's see....Today we will have class in the morning and then a seminar before lunch, and after that, in the afternoon, we will then resume our daily class after we take our lunch break.... That's all right?"

She recalled her schedule for today and the activities that will happen in class.

After that, she then grabbed her smartphone on the desk and opened it to look at the various posts in social media.

It was full of stories of people, their trips, events and many more. The girl looked at them with a bored expression and still continued swiping to the next post.

*Knock* *Knock* 

"...Hmmm? Is it time already?"

The girl turned her head towards the door where the sound of a knock came from.

She already knew who that was so she closed her phone and gently placed it back on the desk in front her. 

"Come in."

"Yes miss."

The door opened and a matured looking maid who was holding a towel and a small basket entered the room. The maid bowed first and then looked towards the girl with a blank face before greeting her.

"Good morning miss...."

"...."

The girl stared at the maid and just nodded without saying anything. 

The girl belongs to a rich family that owns a big corporation inside the city. And the maid who just entered the room is one of the maids that were hired by her father to take care of the girl. 

"Let's clean your body miss"

"...Go ahead"

The girl gave her the approval and stood up before going to the bathroom followed by her maid who then assisted her to take off her clothes and helped washing her back and hair in the shower.

After washing herself. She was then assisted by the maid to dry her hair before helping her wear her school uniform.

"All fixed."

"..."

She is wearing black shoes and stocking and then a red checkered skirt paired with a black coat with a white polo inside and also a red checkered tie to complete set. 

"Thanks...." 

She thanked her maid without looking at her. 

After she was ready and got all the things that she need for school, she exited her room and then went to the dining room to eat breakfast. 

She was followed by her maid who is now holding her schoolbag from behind. 

In the dining table, her father and mother were already there talking to each other. The both of them saw the girl but they just ignored her as if she didn't exist and continued talking to each other.

The girl also noticed it but she didn't bother saying anything. She continued doing her own thing by sitting on her designated seat and eating her breakfast that was already placed on her spot. 

After she was done eating, She stood up and was about to exit the room without talking to her parents, when suddenly, the door opened and her small brother came in.

The little brother stopped on his place as he saw his big sister standing in front of him. 

"Good morning sister!"

"..."

"Sister?"

The girl only looked at him but didn't say anything, She just looked away and started walking.

"Bye...."

She didn't bother looking at him anymore and just continued to walk pass him.

"...."

"..."

After a while.

She was now on the front door and she then looked back towards the maid who was silently following behind her and took her bag.

"I'm off..."

"Take care miss."

"..."

The maid bowed and saw her miss slowly walk away in the distance.

Normally rich people prefers to be on a private vehicle when going to school or somewhere else, but for the girl, she prefers to go to school by herself. At first, when she asked her so called father if she can go to school by herself, she kind of expected him to disagree, however, it seem like her so called father didn't think much about and just let her do her thing as if it's not something to think of. 

Well she also thought of the possibility that her so called father won't give it much attention but she still tried to ask nonetheless.

After commuting on the bus and walking some roads, the girl finally reached her school and made her way towards her classroom.

"Morning."

"yahoo"

"Yo!"

Her classmates greeted her and this time she replied back.

"Morning."

She only said that and then continued her way towards her seat. Her classmates watched her for a bit but then returned to what they were doing before she arrived. 

Once on her seat, she brought out her textbook for her morning class later and patiently waited for the class time as she brought out her Smartphone from her pocket and started playing and doing her daily missions on her mobile games.

Time quickly flew by as the morning class began starting and all of the students sat back to their chairs and listened to the lectures.

The class continued smoothly with some time for recitations and then quizzes which made the other students feel shocked and panicked.

However the girl just stayed composed as if it was nothing while also managing to achieve many perfect score on her quizzes since she already did some advance reading regarding the lectured topics in which made the whole class be amazed.

"She aced it again"

"Just how did she manage to perfect the quiz everytime?"

"Well she's been like that ever since she enrolled here in this school, I'm already used hearing her name on acing the scores in her quizzes and some of her exams. It's nothing new."

"She is so good."

"I want to ace quizzes like her too." 

There are many praises coming from the class but the girl did not say anything but just show a small smile with no feelings at all. 

"Well enough of that, you students should learn to do advance study too if you want to be like her, she is doing her best at studying so you should inspire to be like her too."

The teacher spoke to the students and they just replied half heartedly.

"Yes ma'am"

"Right right." 

"Well now then that's all for today, see you again in our next meeting."

It was already time for the subject to end so the teacher said her goodbye, but of course this was followed by the entrance of the next teacher for their morning class. 

Time passed by.

It didn't take long before the morning class and seminar ends, and now it was already time for the student's lunchbreak which was number one most liked schedule of the students.

"Finally lunch!"

"It felt like hell"

"Well it is hell don't you think? HAHAHA" 

"Yeah!"

The students excited stood up from their chairs and started grouping up with their friends for lunchbreak.

"Hey want to eat with us?"

One of girl's classmates then suddenly approached the girl who was silently watching the other students on her seat with the intention of inviting her to eat together.

"Hmmm? Me?"

"Yes."

"Uhmmmm"

The girl looked troubled when she suddenly got invited by someone. 

But....

"Sorry, I have some plans this afternoon, maybe next time."

"Ehhh? Awww okie"

The girl rejected their invitation while showing them a kind smile before going out of the classroom.

In reality, she just want to be alone for the time being, It's not like she hates being with people, she just felt empty for most of the time even if she is hanging out with her classmates.

She don't feel happy nor sad, she just felt like nothing. It was always like this for her ever since childhood.

"Sorry...."

She whispered to herself while she searched for a quiet spot to rest.

After finding a place to rest, she saw a bench with no people around it besides a tree.

"There...."

She took a sit and started looking at the leaves of the tree above her before closing her eyes while listening to the distant voices and noises of the students and teachers around the place.

 "They all sound so happy...."

The girl frowned before sighing.

"I wonder....What does it need to feel happy?"

Actually, there are some times when something will bring short happiness to the girl and that is by winning something on gacha games or when she is reading or watching something funny.

But of course, it was never enough for her.

"I still have some time before the afternoon classes begin, I wonder what I should do before then."

She then brought out her phone again and then took a look at her social media to see if there is something interesting to read to pass the time.

'School shooting, many students killed'

"Hmmm"

She saw a post that caught her attention.

She opened the post and began reading the other details, she then check the net to see if there are news regarding this, and there she saw a news report which featured the said event.

"It's true huh..."

She then stopped watching the report and stared at the students who were passing by behind the windows, inside of the building.

"Not gonna lie but I also thought of killing someone...."

She already heard so many news regarding killings, terrorism or even death of someone famous who were possibly murdered.

And as she thought of it, she couldn't help but realize how frail and weak humans are. 

They are easily killed by sickness, infections or even by simple accidents. Just being stabbed on one of your vital organs can quickly result to death.

It's like humans can be killed so easily without any effort or warnings

The girl have already dreamt about killing someone and sometimes, she also thought about doing it, but of course, she never did it to someone in real life because she is bound by the rules and the laws of the country in which affected her morals and beliefs.

It's a crime that should never be done. Doing it and being found guilty can result to either having a death sentence or even be sent or sentenced to jail for a lifetime.

Anyways, she continued strolling through social media, and when she completely got bored by it, she then shifted her attention on playing some mobile games on her smartphone.

And just like this she passed the whole lunchbreak sitting on a bench below the shades of the tree while playing games and reading some stories on her phone.

And it didn't take long before the afternoon classes begin.

School passed by like usual and now it's finally for them to go home. The girl as usual was invited by some of her classmates in her class but she rejected saying that there is something she needed to do at home as early as possible. 

She got out of class and began making her way back home. She walked passed many stores that were open since many of them are still closed in the morning, and so, the girl took her time looking at window of the stores as she passed by them.

"....Hmmmm."

Everytime she will take a look inside the stores, she will always see a group of people or students walking together side by side. And sometimes she will also see a family eating together and spending time together.

They were happily talking to each other while having good laughs and jokes coming out from their mouths.

"Must be nice huh.....to spend some time like that with friends and a family."

The girl carefully watched them with an indifferent expression on her face. 

"Friends..."

Did she have any friends? She tried recalling the past but in the end, she didn't know. 

"But what are friends in the first place?" 

She did make some connection with other people but she felt like she was always forgotten after they graduate and had their separate paths in life. She even started to doubt if she was still remembered by her past connections.

'Maybe they did' she thought. 

She continued walking through the streets while watching the stores filled with joy and smiles of people.

And as she continued walking she then reach the area with many tall buildings.

"If there will be more buildings then this street will definitely look like a place from the city."

She continued walking down the streets however she then heard a loud voice from somewhere. 

"Shit!!!"

"Hmmm?"

The loud voice startled her in which made her quickly react to look around trying to find the source of the voice.

"Move away!!!"

"The sound, Is it from above?" 

The sound seems to come from somewhere above her, She then tried to look above but.
