7 Starting to cultivate
After a 6 hours of a long walk Luke finally arrives at the edge of the forest.
The forest had big trees, many with more than 100 meters.
Luke was sweating because of the hot sun, but he was smiling happily.
Luke did not walk much more and sat at the shadow of a tree.
He took some food and drink from his space ring to recover, and after 20 minutes he was 100%.
Finally he grabbed the ability book of Ice lord that he thought would be easier to learn because it depends principally on a strong affinity with the ice element to learn in a short time.
He opened the book and saw a scripture and circulation system of mana to cultivate the ice lord.
He started to meditate and contemplated the book's content.
To be the Ice Lord you need to impose your control over the ice and rule over it. The affinity and comprehension will decide the progress in the technique. This technique is simple and has a version of that for all the other elements, as: Fire Lord, Time Lord, Thunder Lord, Darkness Lord and keep going. These Techniques focus almost only in the element, giving the users the liberty to choose what to do with his mana without restraining their. This technique will circulate the Mana in an endless wave's cycle that will attract mana to the waves and return to the dantian with the mana collected, while another wave starts to rise and repeat the process in an infinity cycle of waves leading mana to the dantian. How much more complex the wave's cycle is, the stronger the technique will be.
Luke also learned that to advance at the rank on the Mana system in the beginning, he will need to refine his dantian with his mana, and after refine his dantian until a certain point he will feels breaking something on his dantian and his comprehension will increases, principally the comprehension about his element.
The first step to Luke starting the cultivation is to try to use the little energy in his dantian that everyone has when the dantian is formed and try to form a simple cycle of 1 wave per circulation of mana through the whole body. If he fails in his first attempt he will need to slowly collect mana of the world through a rough method before he starts a new attempt that will take months to normal talented people.
Luke couldn't wait any longer and started the technique.
He started to spin the mana on the dantian, more and more. And when achieved a satisfactory speed he led the mana out of the dantian in a waveform in direction to his right arm. The wave traveled through his right breaks and started to return while another wave started to form and follow the previous paths, and it kept going. He started with success the Ice Lord cultivation in his first attempt.
The Ice Lord technique is composed of 2 main parts and has 3 factors that decides the technique strength.
The first part is to form five wave cycles that go through the arms, legs and head. After that you need to integrate all the five waves cycles in one big wave cycle that go through the whole body. The wave will leave the dantian from everywhere, creating a circular wave that travels all parts of the body, initiating a real wave cycle and entering in the second part of the technique, also starting offaly the Lord's technique.
The second part of the technique is where the technique really starts. There are 3 factors that will decide the power of the technique : wave's speed, wave strength and wave's number, all these factors will increase the mana gathering and mana strength.
To increase the mana purity the user will need to integrate the waves, creating layers on the technique that will increase the power in huge amounts, but also is needed a certain amount of the wave's speed and strength to the integration of even the creation of new waves cycles can be impossible. The layers have no limits, with the only limitation being how many the user can create. The quantity necessary to integrate the waves will increase integration by integration, being the previous layer wave's quantity + 2. For example : He formed 1 wave cycle at the first layer of the technique, so he will need to integrate 3 waves cycles to go to the next layer, and to the layer after that he will need 3+2 wave's cycle, and keep going… But the speed and strength necessary for the waves integration will depend on the technique user intuition.
After Luke completed the cycle on his right arm he started to feel that for each cycle that the waves complete more mana is collected on his dantian, he feeling that in a few hours he will collect mana to start a cycle on his left arm. He waited for 4 hours before collecting the same amount of mana that he used to create his cycle on the right arm. He couldn't improve the wave cycle because this will difficult the creation of the other 4 cycles, so he will first advance to the second phase before starting to strengthen the wave's cycle.
Luke started to stop his wave cycle and spin his mana again, but at a faster speed than before, because now he needs to construct 2 different cycles. He controlled his mana into waveform again in both of his arms, in the final he succeeded. He felt that more mana started to come to him.
He saw how easy it was to make the waves and decided to wait to accumulate mana enough to do 5 cycles before constructing all of them together before advancing to the second part of the cultivation technique.
What Luke didn't know was that most of the users of the Lord cultivation ability can't construct a wave in the first time if they don't have a rank, and the difficulty will increase for how many waves he decides to make. And he also doesn't know that didn't exist records of someone advancing to the second part before getting a rank.
After a long waiting of 6 hour the moon was coming down, showing that was the next day after Luke became an adventurer although it was less than a complete day.
Luke finally has the necessary amount of mana to do the 5 wave's cycles. Without any wait he started to spin his mana faster and faster. He finally saw that reached a good point and controlled his mana in 5 waves, each one going to : right arm, left arm, right leg, left leg and head. He did the waves synchronize to not have any wrong and in the final he did, he reached the final of the first part of the Lord cultivating technique, one step to the second that has supposedly an endless capacity of development.
The five waves were coming and going synchronized in an unique rhythm.
He feels a big amount of mana being stored on his dantian and 1 hour later he feels that accumulate mana to do the 5 cycles again and have a high amount of mana remaining, he feels that is time to go to the second part of the Lord technique.
He stopped the waves cycles constructed and put all of his mana on the dantian.
He started to spin and spin for many minutes until he formed a tornado, this time he spun really fast. At this time he did not make separated waves, but a circular wave that will go through his entire body.
The circular wave that Luke made was much bigger, faster and stronger than his preview 5 waves by a huge difference.
Luke felt some difficulty to maintain the circular wave, but was it. He with some difficulty completed the first part of the Lord technique and entered in the real thing as a mortal.
Luke started to receive many mana to his dantian, but besides his happy smile he didn't pay attention to that, he knows that after achieving the second part of the [Ice Lorde] cultivation it will appear on his status with a description that he is interested in, without much ceremony he opened his status and his new ability description.

"Wow! I really have a new ability! With this addition I have four and after I learn the next one I will have five! I am so happy!" Luke was jumping and screaming loud, happy to learn an ability with success.
While Luke was screaming and singing his success, many pairs of yellow eyes started to surround him. With all that loud noise in the middle of the night would be a miracle if any creature heard him.
Luke continued to sing when he started to feel something strange. He stops his voice and movements, starting to look at his surrender.
He saw many pairs of yes, 8 to be specific. He immediately took his spear from the space ring and held with his two hands.
His father never gave him permission to hold a weapon in hopes that he would lose his desires about being an adventurer, but he also was worried about his son, so he instructed Luke to close combat since he was 10.
Luke was afraid about the wolves but he remembered his father taught and prepared to receive the wolves attack, was his first time holding a spear in a battle but he felt that would fight better with the spear that pure close combat against the wolves.
Soon the first wolves attacks started.
Two wolves charged to Luke, one in front and one behind him.
He wisely chose to dodge the attacks rolling to the right.
After rolling another wolf advanced to him, this time Luke launched a vertical kick in the wolf jaw, breaking it and injuring the wolf. The wolf's claw hit Luke's leg injuring him with small cuts on his legs.
Luke grunted in pain but he quickly rolled to the right again to dodge other wolves attacks.
Luke got up but another wolf launched at him, he decided to finally use his spear and hit the wolf's chest piercing its lung, the wolf was disabled.
But without rest another wolf came to him by back and launched a claw attack on his back.
Luke tried to dodge rolling forward but he was late and the wolf hit him, leaving a bloody cut.
Luke screamed, but didn't lose his concentration, he turned and saw the wolf going to bite him, he released his left hand from the spear and hit the wolf's head with all of his strength.
The wolf groaned and fell.
2 more wolves were going at the same time and Luke flipped his left step and started to back off, leaving unscathed.
He advanced after that and kicked the wolf's leg on the chest making it roll.
A wolf was close to him launching the claws, Luke tried to evade it by retreating steps out of the wolf's trajectory but he was struck on the left arm.
Again he kicked the wolf.
Luke started this battle method, without doing any attack or movement that leaves him with many openings, trying to get used to this battle. He was immersed more and more.
A wolf's attack… He dogged the attack.
He kicked a wolf on the neck… his body was much affected by his kick and he failed to dodge the next wolf's attack.
Another attack… He stepped out and stabbed the wolf's neck.
He let a huge opening do that attack and 2 wolves attacked him by the two diagonal rear.
He started to despair, he knows that have great chances to die as he responds badly to these attacks.
He recovered from his previous attack, turned and put his spear horizontally to block the wolves, discovering too late that another wolf started an attack, at his exposed back.
He knows that this was the end but not give up, roaring he starts to use all of his concentration and put all strengths left in one attack. He stepped forward and stabbed the two wolves that were on his front. A light blue aura started to flow out of your body and covered his spear, making the original black spear shine on the dark.
The stab pierced the two wolves, freezing and killing them, after that quickly Luke released his hands from the spear and turned his body giving the stronger punch that he did in his whole life. The punch was shining at an ice color and emitted a cold aura.
The wolf saw that and tried to stop his attack, but was too late for him. The punch hit his head so strong that he was launched for 5 meters.
He fell to the ground, half of his body covered by ice.
Luke stopped his actions and looked at the left 3 left wolves.
He stepped in the direction of the wolves but they started to run, apparently afraid of Luke.
Luke was tired, his head spinning, but he kept his consciousness and picked his spear to the space ring, he knew that the blood would attract other beasts .
He started to walk to an undefined place for an unknown amount of time until he faint.
