3 Luke and Dungeon

After recovering from his torpor that came from the vision of giant monsters he returned to the cave and closed the vines.

'What I was thinking, what I was thinking. This world looks dangerous, I just took a look and I saw dinosaurs. It Is simply impossible to leave this cave without dying.' Erik started a brainstorm to think how he can use his abilities to leave this cave with safety and recover his humanity.

'Looking at the uses of my abilities, a way would be to use life devourer in a weak monster to get a stealth ability to hide me from the monsters.' Erik started thinking in this way, but he discarded this Idea because he doesn't know if he will find a weak monster, he also doesn't know if he can defeat a monster.

Erik then came with an Idea 'I have dark vision in my abilities, I can wait until night to leave this forest, the strong monsters probably will be sleeping.' He thought.

In the games that he played undead creatures was the king of the night, he didn't know if it would work but he decided to try. After all, he doesn't want to spend his whole life in a dark cave.

Then Erik sat down, and started to wait for the moon to reach the top of the sky, with some times taking a look to know the right time to go. Basically he has infinite energy to spend, he is a tireless undead now.

While a skeleton was waiting for the moon to reach the top, a certain boy at a distant place was anxious for the next day.

"Finally I will turn 15!" His name was Luke. He had white hair and blue-ice eyes, his body was 6 feet tall and his constitution was lean muscular, giving the expression that he is older than appear, the only thing that reveals his immaturity is his face full of excitement about what will happen.

"Tomorrow I will get a status stone and I will ingress at the adventurer guild!" He grew up listening to stories and legends. His biggest idol is the Sword lord Blake, the greatest adventurer of the continent.

Since he was little he has had a dream of becoming a hero that fights against evil, and now he will turn 15 tomorrow receiving a status stone that allows him to see his affinity and abilities. This age is also when he can join an organization.

The place that Luke lives is called Stone village, a remote place in the East of the Blue moon continent. He is from a farmer family and he wants to join an adventure guild, become strong and help his family.

To achieve these goals he trained his body from an early age to be strong, this was to have a base when he started to temper his body with Ki or Mana.

In this world there are four cultivation systems: Ki, Mana, Body and Soul. Ki is the inner energy stored in the heart, it comes from the essence of an existence. Mana is the world energy and stays in the dantian. The heart circulates Ki in the body through the blood and the Mana circulates through the body according to the cultivation technique.

When a person turns 15 they achieve adulthood. The dantian is formed and the body and heart is ready to cultivate, that is why everyone needs to wait 15 years to receive a status stone and to cultivate.

After getting a status stone everyone can choose to join an organization. The most known organizations were the guilds, being the most famous: the adventurer guild and the guards. The guards serve the Blue moon empire the biggest and powerful organization in this continent and the guilds are where specific occupation with strong powers behind create organizations to improve the area that are specialized.

Depending on your development in the guild are possible to gain cultivation and battle techniques or spells as rewards.

"When I join the guild I will receive a basic cultivation technique compatible with my affinity. My parents said that my affinity is probably water because I don't feel cold easily and I am a good swimmer that learned to swim since I tried for the first time when I was very little."

The affinity reflects some capacities of someone, for example a person with water affinity will find swimming as an easy activity but a person with fire affinity may not learn to swim their entire life. But this does not mean that it is not possible to swim, the affinity shown in the status stone is when someone reaches a certain quantity of affinity with an element, so two persons can have the same element but one can have a stronger affinity than others.

Existing cases of people that do not have an affinity with an element, they don't have anything special but they need to cultivate non elemental techniques.

The common affinity are: Fire, water, wind and earth, the rare affinity are: Thunder, metal, Ice, darkness, light, time and space, being that the most rare was space and time with the others being rare but not too much. The rarest affinities are usually stronger than normal affinity, but rarity don't mean exactly that an affinity is stronger than others, if someone has a high affinity with an element, will be stronger.

"I can't wait to start to cultivate and defeat monsters and beasts, I want to become a rank S like Lord Blake." Luke was excited about the next day that he will become an adult and will gain the possibility to chase his ambitions.

"For now I need to sleep to wake up tomorrow full of energy." He said that but when he lay down his eyes were opening and closing, his body was squirming, he was too excited to sleep.

Returning to a small cave where Erik was waiting.

'Finally. I'm bored waiting for this moon.' Erik stood.

'The moon reached the top and I can't see or hear anything strange.' He started to walk out of the cave.

The cave was situated on a hill allowing him to look around more easily. He started to walk where the sun went down, the west.

He walked carefully and quickly, he did not want to stay in that forest full of danger anymore.

He continued walking for 30 minutes without problems, but his luck apparently had finished when he started to hear loud sounds.

He got scared but did not run away, Erick was curious about what was happening. He approximated the sounds and when he was 100 meters distant he saw an amazing fight.

A muscular gorilla with brown fur was fighting a black bear and they both were 3 meters tall, they were big.

Erik thought with himself 'That's amazing! Two big beasts fighting, and they look stronger than they appear, maybe they have ranks.' Erik was correct with his thoughts.

Both beasts were in the rank F in Ki and body doing mortal blows that leaves marks where they attack and was resisting attacks that could destroy walls.

The gorilla was apparently winning the fight, dodging the strongest blows that came from the bear and punching the bear's face ever he saw an opportunity. The gorilla looks having more battle experience but the defense of the bear was not normal, he remained unshakeable towards the gorilla punches.

Did not take too long for the gorilla to commit a mistake, he tried to dodge the bear's claw attack but he was pushed to a tree, not leaving space to run. The bear strike hit the gorilla left arm skin ripping the muscles.

"Roar!" The gorilla screamed .

The bear didn't wait for him and attacked again. The gorilla blocked the bear's claw with his good arm, but while the bear's claw was being held by the gorilla he used the left claw to hit the gorilla chest.

The gorilla tried to block the left claw but his arm was injured and it didn't give much resistance. The claw ripped the gorilla chest causing more injuries. After that the fight was no mystery, the bear defeated the gorilla easily and killed him.

When the black bear started to eat the gorilla a shadow got down the sky and hit the bear Immediately killing him. The shadow was a giant Black hawk, his claws penetrated the bear chest with the blood running off the body. non stopping, the hawk flew to the night sky again with the bear's corpse, disappearing.

'Oh shit. What I saw.' Erik was shocked and scared. He saw an incredible fight between two big beasts, but the winner was Instantly killed by a giant black hawk that flew with the bear's corpse.

'This world is more dangerous than I thought, even in the night many strong creatures are lurking.' After that he suddenly realized that he forgot something important.

'Right, the hawk didn't get the gorilla corpse, I can use my ability, life devourer in him,' Erik quickly looked around to see if there was any danger and rushed to the gorilla's corpse.

He approached, touched the corpse and a single notification appeared to him.

A few seconds after this notification appeared, Erik chose Ki affinity without hesitation and started to run as if his life depended on it.

He felt his bones being strengthened but he didn't care about it 'Fu*k. Why have so many monsters in my surroundings?' When he was absorbing the life energy he started to feel many presences coming to his position, he quickly chose Ki affinity because he did not have muscles and his stamina was unlimited, he also was curious about the Ki.

Erik doesn't know how he felt them, but he did, and didn't wait for them to appear in his vision to confirm, he simply ran In his faster speed. When He was running he heard a commotion where the gorilla's withered body was, he didn't turn his head and continued to run non stopping.

After he ran for around 40 minutes he started to feel a strange familiar sensation. He started to run to where he felt this sensation and after 10 minutes he saw a cave entrance.

Erik was happy with his vision 'A cave! Maybe I have a natural talent to find caves.' Erik thought before without hesitation entered the cave. He stopped running and started to explore the cave, walking and going deeper and deeper without caring that it was dark.

'This cave is a lot bigger than the cave I was in before.' This cave was looking like a huge corridor, the passage being more or less flat.

Erik started to think about the events that happened that led him to run.

'I could feel the presence of the monsters from a long distance.' He started to think about it.

'Maybe this is because my soul is in the rank F. Now that I'm thinking about it I could watch the fight of the beasts with many details, maybe that is the cause.' Erik was right in his thoughts, his enhanced soul allowed him to sense the surroundings with facility compared with a normal person.

'Now my only doubt is about the ability Ki affinity.'

'Now I only need to learn more about Ki.' He continued walking and thinking.

'I probably will need a special technique or a stronger affinity to feel and use the Ki, even if I have this ability I can't feel any difference.' When he was lost In his thoughts he saw the end of the cave.

In the end of the cave were stairs leading down.

'Why have stairs in a cave! Do humans live here?' When he started to guess a possibility appeared in his mind.

'A cave looking like a corridor. Stairs leading down...
