Julia knew that whatever her feelings for Caiden were, they were changing quickly, making her wonder if she had ever truly loved Alre or had simply become entangled with him.

"Caiden, sleep here," she said and he glanced at her as he was about to get off of the bed. 

"Are you certain?" he asked, and she smiled slightly.

"Yes, I am, sleep here, please," she responded and he sighed then laid beside her. 

"Now go to sleep, it's getting late, good night, Julia," he said.

"Good night, Caiden," she replied while closing her eyes, and he smiled at her as she promptly fell asleep, and after a while of staring at her and deciding on something, Caiden also fell asleep.

When Julia awoke the next morning, she was still not feeling well, she looked at Caiden, who was sleeping beside her, and saw she was hugging him, then smiled before moving his hair away from his eyes.
