Chapter 41: City Lord's Mansion

"Thank you for agreeing Senior Ken!" Says the girl as she bows.

"It's no problem, let's begin." The girl paused at this "What? She asked.

" I'm saying we'll begin today.." Says Ken Hai as he took a seat behind a table. Hong Yu hesitantly did the same.

"Now then where should we start?"

Surprisingly she's a lot more knowledgeable than I thought she'd be, she's honestly going places. She should be able to at least answer 40 percent by my calculations, she'd probably be hailed as the youngest alchemist if I didn't already take the title.

"Impressive, your alot better than I'd thought you'd be." I gave her some praise and a small smile blossomed on my face, to which she blushed and looked away....right forgot about my face, anyway she need to touch up on a couple of things.

"Alright then let me guide you but do note I'm not very good at teaching." I told her to which she nodded "Yes I think that might be a problem as well how ever I'm willing to try!" She says with a resolute look on her face.

This skill it showed up two minutes in my lecture and I bumped it to 30, hell I've never found ways to explain or teach someone, hell while teaching I even gathered a crowd of alchemists cementing my standing in this place as a genius thanks to that a couple alchemist who doubted my skills now donfr, I'll have to experiment with it later.

Walking farward we stop in front of the guards who were dressed in red and black armour, as they saw Hong Yu they immediately bowed "Welcome back Lady Hong!" Says the guards.

"This is Ken Hai he'll be staying with us for the night." she says as she walked passed them. I can clearly see their faces turn to slight shock as they heard my name but I gave them a short bow and followed after Hong Yu.

Even for a primitive world it seems news travels fast in this world as well and of course my name is gonna get alot of attention, I could literally feel the stares I was getting, while walking with Hong Yu.

Walking with her we meet with a maid, "Please guide senior Ken to the guest rooms, I'll be speaking with father." She says as she walked off the maid bowed and showed to where I'd be staying and i have to say this place is huge and very beautiful, though it's all unnecessary none of these are strategically placed it seems they just used these to flaunt.

Sitting inside his office was a man with a very stern face and cold blue eyes he had black hair and was dressed in a red robes. He was looking at some paper works as he released a sigh.

'It seems the demonic sects has been sighted on the outskirts of the city.' He thought as he reviewed a couple of papers. "This is troubling." He says as he went to the next report when a knock came to his door.

He looks up from his desk and asked "Who is it?" From behind the door came the familiar voice of his daughter could be heard. "Father it is me."

"Yu'er you may come in." He says as his daughter opens the door. "Father I am sorry for troubling you."

"It is fine what is it would you like to discuss?" He asked as he prepares some tea. "Do you know the newest alchemist Master Ken Hai?"

"The youngest alchemist to ever pass the alchemist test. Everyone has heard of him and his skills. Despite being fifteen years old he's even able to make second grade pills and discovered qi control." Said the city lord as he calmly took a sip of his tea. His daughter hearing all this nodded and replied.

"Yes I've convinced him to tutor me for the next two months." She says hearing this the man stopped mid swallow "And I've decided to to give him one of my manors as one of the payments."

"I see where will he be staying?" He asked "For the night here then I'll be show casing my manors to see which he likes the most."

Hearing this the city lord hummed he wanted to meet Ken Hai, to see what he was like, he knows from the rumors that he's a very talented and humble individual but he'll be entrusting his daughter to him and those are just rumors. There are many men after his daughter due to his title as city lord mostly the son of the sect lord of the Jiao sect. Jiao Jun.
