"Brace for impact!!"

Boom!! Boom!!

"Captain! I don't think we can hold on for much longer"

Located in a plain and barren field, a group of military soldiers could barely be seen right behind a 5 five foot tall steel reinforced barricade.

And while as these military men are being bombarded by the enemy with various degrees of bombs, two military soldiers could be seen conversing.

One of these soldiers have a dark hair that has been cut low, an eyeglass that is slightly resting on the bridge of his nose which is making his brown colored eyes to see more clearly, and a height of 6 foot 1 inch which is almost covered with a full dark brown military uniform.

While the other soldier have a slightly longer blonde hair as part of it covered a part of his vigorous face, dark eyes and a height of 6 foot 5 inches which is also covered with the same military uniform but has 3 stars resting on each of his shoulders. This soldier is way more robust to the other soldier who is thinly built.

"I know Carlos, but we have no other choice but to wait here till we get reinforcement" the robust man said with a helpless expression.

Right now him and his team are currently trapped at where they are by the enemy and couldn't go back or even confront the enemy without getting annihilated. Although he has called for reinforcements from the base, he hasn't gotten a response for almost an hour now.

"Captain try and call them again and see if we can get a response this time" Carlos said with a worrying look on his face. But before the captain could reply, a bomb suddenly exploded at the edge of the barricade.

Boom!!

"Jack!!" exclaimed one of the soldiers as he hurriedly rushed towards where a headless corpse is. Apparently, this headless corpse is none other than the Jack.

'Another one has fallen' The captain thought with an heartache before he hurriedly brought out his military communicator with a solemn look on his face.

"This is Captain Taylor of the 15th regiment. We currently need urgent backup at the front lines as we are completely outnumbered, over?"

After stating his request, Taylor slightly lowered the communicator with a slight anticipation on his face as he thought.

'Please let the heavens be on my side'

"Captain Taylor?" As soon as he said that in his mind, the communicator slightly vibrated with a voice coming out of it. When everyone heard this, they immediately rejoiced.

"Yes! Help has finally arrived!"

"We are saved!"

"I knew the heavens won't abandon us"

'Finally!' Carlos thought with an ecstatic expression on his face.

"Y-Yes, this is Captain Taylor reporting from the 3rd area of the battlefield. We urgently need reinforcements as the enemy totally outnumber us" Taylor replied hurriedly after momentarily being dazed.

'Now that we will have reinforcements soon, all we need to do now is to know how many soldiers the enemy has along with their war weapons' Taylor thought after asking for reinforcements in the communicator. But suddenly, what Taylor heard next from the communicator momentarily stunned him.

"Am sorry to say this but it is no longer possible"

"What do you mean sir?" Taylor quickly asked as bad feeling began to well up in him.

"One of your direct surbodinates told me not to send any reinforcements to you because you guys are already overwhelming the enemy soldiers over there so I used the reinforcements meant for you to strengthen the other battlefield" the communicator rang out.

As soon as it did, silence quickly dominated in the area. But right after that, all the soldiers behind the barricade except Carlos and Taylor fell into despair.

"We are doomed!!"

"Who would do such a thing to his own comrades?"

"Where is that bastard!? I want to kill him right now!!"

"Sir please try to get reinforcements for us or we really get annihilated" Carlos requested as he began to panic. But unfortunately, he couldn't get another reply from the communicator.

'One of my direct surbodinates?' Taylor thought as he tries to find out who it is. But before he could find out, he heard a familiar voice outside of their barricade.

"Taylor, if you know what's good for you, just quietly surrender if you don't want to get killed"

"Who is that bastard?"

"Even if we are surrounded, I would like to see them kill my Captain"

Right after everyone heard that voice, they began to bark back with a furious expression on their faces. But as for Carlos and Taylor, they both had pale faces.

"Don't tell me it was–" Carlos said before he got interjected by Taylor.

"No! I refuse to believe it!"

As he said that, he quickly came out of the barricade to see who it was. But right after he saw who it was, his face became as white as sheet.

Currently, blonde haired boy in his 20s could be seen standing in front of a large army. This boy has limpid yellow eyes with a height of 6 foot 3 inches which shockingly was covered in a black advanced battle suits created for international mercenaries.

"Long time no see Captain" The blonde hair boy said with a light grin on his face. When Taylor say this grin, he finally confirmed that he was the one he was hoping not to see here.

"Ho.. How–" Taylor muttered but before he could finish, Carlos who currently just came out of the barricade suddenly had a look of disbelief on his face as he exclaimed..

"Timothy!! How are you still alive!?"

Apparently, the blonde haired boy that is named Timothy was previously a street thug that was a member of a local gang. But during a particular situation, this so called local gang bumped into Taylor and got beaten mercilessly.

But right at the edge of death, Timothy begged Taylor for his life in exchange of the former doing anything for later. Although Taylor at first didn't want to accept, but when he saw how young Timothy was who was 19 years at that time, he decided to train him and make him his direct surbodinates.

And so, after months and years of training, Timothy finally joined the military as a soldier of Taylor regiment. Along with that, both Timothy and Taylor went to various mission together and became much closer.

But unfortunately, during a particular mission not too long ago, Timothy had to sacrifice his life just to save his Captain. Although this incident nearly traumatized Taylor, he eventually decided to move on with his life in regard of the 'deceased' Timothy.

But now that he is currently seeing Timothy right in front of him among the enemy's army, he couldn't bring himself to believe it.

"Well although I was at the brink of death after that mission, a particular fellow decided to help me in return to being an informat and you know, I just don't wanna die so I just agreed" Timothy said nonchalantly. But when Carlos heard his answer, he quickly flew into rage as he exclaimed angrily...

"You backstabbing bastard!! Don't let me get my hands on you or else you experience more worse than death!"

"I would like to see you try then" Timothy said indifferently before staring at Taylor. Right now, Taylor has various expression on his face but Timothy didn't seem to care as he ask.

"So Taylor, are you willing to surrender?"

When Taylor heard this question, he stayed quiet for a moment later before he said..

"Why are you doing this?"

"Why am I doing this?" Timothy said with a much wider grin on his face before answering..

"It's actually simple, I just want to be a leader and not a follower"

"Is that so?" Taylor said before he took in a deep breath. Right after that, he suddenly exclaimed with a resolute expression on his face.

"Charge!!!"

Immediately after, all the soldiers behind the barricade along with Taylor and Carlos charged at the enemy army without a care for there life.

"It seems he didn't accept" Timothy said with a slight disappointment on his face. But he quickly dismissed it as he commanded..

"Kill them all"

"Yes Commander"

Right after that, flying missiles began to fly out from behind the army and went towards the Taylor's army which made them to despair.

'Looks like this is the end of the road for me' Taylor thought as he looked at the approaching missile with a rather calm look. Then as expected, the missiles landed on Taylor and his army.

Boom!! Boom!! Boom!!

"Goodbye Captain" Timothy said with a calm look on his face.
