1 Chapter 1

In the city, a child can be seen walking up to the front where he was to have his spirit awakening. The people around were whispering to each other, eager to see what kind of spirit this great prodigy young master would get. Some of them may have ulterior motive, wanting to see him fall off his pedestal and into the depths of despair.

To their disappointment, not only did he achieve level 10 spirit essence, the maximum, he had obtain a rare and powerful spirit. A tool spirit called the Boundary Mirror of Reincarnation. Some people underestimated this spirit at first but others know not to. Better not be fooled by its appearance, it's not possible to get full spirit awakening unless you have twin spirits or an extremely powerful spirit.

They all knew this : Ming Long Chen has a bright future awaiting him.

But no one knows what sort of hidden secret their great prodigy is hiding from them.

——Ming Long Chen——

He was definitely not a normal child. He was too mature and less energetic compared to the other children his age. He could comprehend information much faster and was too understanding. The adults including his parents thought that it was because he is a prodigy but he thought otherwise.

Ming Long Chen knew that he is a reincarnator from earth. He died typically from overwork and not due to truck-kun. At first, he was indeed shocked that reincarnation really did exist but learn to accept his death. As someone from earth, a relatively peaceful world, he was at a slight disadvantage. He needed to learn combat techniques so he requested that he be taught early.

Years after his reincarnation, he realized that this is the world of a online manhua he read in his previous life. He didn't manage to get far but he does know some events in the first few arcs. This information would've been useful if he knew which timeline he was born into.

Long Chen decided to place that knowledge at the back of his mind and continued to improve his own life. Fortunately, he was born into a rather good family. He is currently the first young master of the Ming clan. It was easy to obtain resources for himself, especially after his spirit awakening. The clan wishes to carefully nurture him and supported his education.

Taking advantage of this, he persuaded the elder to allow him to train under the white tiger duke in their mansion under the pretense of admiration. Thanks to the clan's connections with that family, the deal was settled. Upon arrival at the white tiger mansion, he was welcomed by the family.

1st POV

The madam was very insistent that I get along with her eldest son, Dai Yaoheng, since we are close in age. If it weren't for me knowing the book, I would've thought that the madam was a nice person. In truth, she's a venomous snake that desired power and likes to step on the weak.

Dai Yaoheng wasn't that bad of a person but he probably has some prejudice against the protagonist, his half brother for being a child of a mistress. If people think about it, normally no one would treat the proof of their father's love affair nicely. There's bound to be conflict and they tend to not end well. No one likes cheating whether they be men or women. He became my sparring partner as I trained under the duke.

Dai Huabin, on the other hand, was.....very prideful. When we first met, he practically acted like a cat that's meeting a stranger for the first time. He was short and barely reached my waist so instead of being intimidating, he looked very cute. Even with his lackeys, he can't do anything to me since I'm stronger and a guest of their house at that.

After several months, it was evident that I grown more powerful. Despite being only 10 years old, my spirit rank had exceeded 18 and is on my way of becoming a spirit grandmaster. One day, after a duel with Dai Yaoheng (I won this time), I rested a short distance away from the mansion on top of a tree to get away from the ever so pestering younger brother. Apparently, he has a inferiority complex towards his stronger older brother and wanted me to teach him how to defeat Dai Yaoheng.

While taking my nap, I heard some noise coming from somewhere below me. I groggily open my eyes and look down to see a young boy being kicked and stepped on by a couple of other kids. Being someone with some morality, I jumped down and scared the bullies away.

"Hey, be quiet, will you?"

"Hah, and who are you suppose to be?"

"Yeah, you're not the boss of us!"

"Go Away!"

"If you don't want to get squashed like a bug, I suggest you scram!" I exerted a tiny amount of bloodlust. The bullies being as young as they were couldn't withstand my glare and aura. Thus, they ran away.

I turned around to look at the bullied victim and knelt down to check his condition. I wasn't very good. The child was covered in bruises and blood leaked out from some scratches. Moreover, he looked too be no older than 5. This won't be good for growth and development. Concern for the boy, I used my mirror.

[Boundary Mirror 6th path: Realm of the Heavens]

A large monochrome body size appeared behind me and turned gold. Bright yellow particles came out from my palm as I heal his injuries. One after another, the wounds start to disappear. This is the ability of my Boundary Mirror of Reincarnation. It shows me the Six paths of Reincarnation. Each path has a different ability. The 6th path, The realm of heavens, allows me to heal people and restore energy. The speed depends on my own cultivation.

After a few minutes, the recovery was complete and the boy regained conscious.

Huo Yuhao's POV

Once again my wicked half brother, sent his servants to bully me. They kicked me and threw multiple insults at how I am an illegitimate child. I was just about to faint from all the hitting when I heard a voice. I couldn't exactly hear what he said but the person made the bullies ran away. That's when everything went black.

Afterwards, I was woken up by a gentle and warm light. It is very soothing and I could feel my strength return to me. Wanting to know where this light is coming from, I open my eyes. In front of me was a guy with beautiful long black hair tied in a low pony tail and azure eyes.

"You're finally up. How do you feel?"

He was very pretty, I couldn't help but stare.

"Uh, are you alright?"

I was snapped out from my thought and replied, "Oh! Yes! Thank this brother for helping me."

"That's good. I'm Long Chen and you are?"

"Me? I'm Huo Yuhao."

For a moment, his eyes widen a bit. Does he know I'm the illegitimate child from a servant? Is he going to treat me the same as the others? My body grew tense as negative thought ran through my head. However, my fear were unfounded as the brother merely smiled and pat my head.

"No need to be fearful, I understand your situation. It wasn't your fault."

The way his hand caress my head was very comforting. This brother is an extremely nice person! Later on, the both of us chatted. He allowed me to call him Brother Long (Long Ge). I was going to take him to go meet with my mother until we both heard some people calling his name. t was the servants from the main mansion.

"Young master Ming! Where are you?"

"Young master!"

They were all looking for him so he must be an important person. I wonder what his identity is?

"It appears I have been away for a bit too long. They're getting anxious. Sorry Yuhao, I will need to head back or else this will spell trouble for both of us."

I became depressed knowing that brother Long was going away. Noticing my mood, brother long pats me in the head and said, "Don't worry. We can just meet here again tomorrow, ok?"

"Really? You promise?"

"Hmn, I promise." we hooked our pinkies together. I was happy. There's someone other than my mother who would treat me nicely. It doesn't matter what his identity is.
