3 03 - Messing with Hakuryukou

Emerging from a Gap in Kuoh Town in the Human world, Yukari finds herself standing atop a tall building, overlooking a school where she senses a distinct devil's aura. "Ah, this must be Rias and her peerage," she muses, aware of their presence.

"Heh, even though I'm so close to the school, they can't detect me. They must be high-class devils," Yukari smirks.

Glancing around, Yukari notices a young man wearing a high school uniform. He stands at an average height, with short spiky brown hair, two locks framing his face, and light brown eyes. This is Issei Hyoudou, the MC of this world. "Hmm, judging by the devil aura emanating from him, it seems I've landed in the timeline of Season 2," Yukari concludes.

"Well, I'll have my fun with you later. For now, I prefer to toy with your rival... fufu," she chuckles.

As Issei walks through the hall toward his classroom, an eerie sensation creeps over him. "W-What's that? Does someone know about my peeping habits?" he wonders.

Without hesitation, Yukari opens a Gap and disappears from the scene.

- Somewhere in the Underworld -

Nestled within a forest lies a collection of mansions serving as the base for Vali's team, the current Hakuryuukou. Present in one of the mansions are five individuals engaged in conversation.

"Hey, have you heard the news from Vali?" a beautiful young woman with a voluptuous figure, long black hair, and hazel-gold eyes speaks. She wears a black kimono adorned with golden beads and an intricately designed headband. The kimono, revealing her ample bosom, features a red interior.

"I'm not sure. He's probably with Azazel," responds a young man with short, light-colored hair, dressed in ancient Chinese armor from the Three Kingdoms period.

"Yes, we only need to prepare and await further orders," chimes in a bespectacled young man with blond hair, a lock falling across his face. His usual attire consists of a business suit, exuding a calm and gentlemanly demeanor.

"I agree, Oni-sama," adds a cute foreign girl with a slender figure, shoulder-length blonde hair, and blue eyes. She sports a sorceress-like dress adorned with a large blue hat, a black bow, yellow stars, and a matching cape with pink flowers.

These individuals are Kuroka Toujou, an SS-rank criminal; Bikou, the current Monkey King; Arthur Pendragon, the wielder of the Holy Swords Caliburn and Excalibur Ruler; and Morgan Le Fay, a descendant of Morgan Le Fay.

"So, when do we announce to the three factions that we're joining the Khaos Brigade?" Kuroka inquires.

"I believe Vali wants to make the announcement during the meeting where the three factions discuss peace. The Old Maou Faction also plans to attack that gathering," Bikou explains.

"Indeed, Vali also wishes to gauge his rivals," Arthur adds.

"But won't it be dangerous for Vali when facing the leaders of three factions?" the young magician, Le Fay, asks.

"Well, you see, it's precisely because it's dangerous that Vali wants to reveal himself at that moment," Bikou smirks, prompting a sigh from Arthur and laughter from Kuroka. Suddenly, a voice interrupts their conversation.

"Oh my, may I join in on the action?" the voice rings out.

Kuroka, Bikou, and Arthur immediately adopt defensive stances, while Le Fay remains puzzled. Surrounding Kuroka, blue flames flicker, Bikou raises his wand, and Arthur readies his sword. Within the room, a Gap appears, revealing a multitude of eyes before a woman with golden hair and purple eyes emerges.

"Hello there, nice to meet you. I'm Yukari Yakumo," Yukari introduces herself with a smile, despite the defensive postures of Bikou, Kuroka, and Arthur.

"Who are you?!" Kuroka asks, her caution evident as her instincts warn her of the immense danger posed by the woman before her. Bikou, too, senses Yukari's strength, aware that as fellow Youkai capable of using Senjutsu, they are in the presence of someone formidable.

"Hehe, haven't I already introduced myself?" Yukari responds, her finger resting against her cheek.

Taking advantage of the distraction, Arthur attempts to strike Yukari with Caliburn. However, his sword passes through her as if she were a mere hologram.

"My, that was dangerous," Yukari remarks, her fan lightly brushing against Arthur's chest, causing him to be thrown against the mansion wall with great force.

"What?!" Bikou and Kuroka exclaim, astounded that Arthur was sent flying with just a flick of Yukari's fan.

"Hehehe, a misbehaving child must be punished, wouldn't you agree, Hakuryuukou?" Yukari teases, her gaze now fixed on a youth who materializes from a magic circle. It is Vali, the current White Dragon Emperor.

"Vali!" Kuroka, Bikou, and Le Fay exclaim, snapping out of their initial shock and rushing to their brother's side.

"Do you not think you're at fault for intruding upon our base?" Vali questions, though his eyes remain locked on the golden-haired woman before him.

"Oh my, I was only here to take a look around. Your friend attacked me first, and I merely defended myself... fufu," Yukari explains, opening her fan and concealing her smile as she chuckles softly.

Vali raises an eyebrow and asks, "What is your purpose for coming here? Do you wish to fight?"

"Oh, I'm just here for a leisurely visit," Yukari replies.

"But I have never been wrong in my instincts before, and they tell me that you're strong. Let's have a battle," Vali insists, his fighting spirit ignited.

"I'm not that strong, you know~" Yukari playfully responds.

"No, my instincts never deceive me. I know you possess great power," Vali asserts.

"Hehe, very well. I'll fight you, but only this once, alright?" Yukari concedes, giving in to Vali's enthusiasm.

"Okay, let's move to a more spacious area."
