LIGHT'S POV:-
A lot has happened already. I so wanted to grow up like a ' normal ' child, go into Royal Academy and collect information, become an adventurer and start exploring this world from there.
The simple plan really, nothing so grand about it but that is why it was the best.
But...
'It had to go down the drain, huh?' I smiled wryly
Then I had to explain my abnormal strength to Corey, Chase, mother and aunt Sophia.
It would have been fine up to my family but I didn't like the addition of aunt Sophia to the number.
But...when all was said and done, she had witnessed my power with her own eyes, so not explaining things will make things worse.
'Should I have erased her memories?' Nope it would take days to do it and that would be tiring...plus I would have to get in her brain and increase her processing speed which might cause brain damage unless she willingly allows me to do it.
What I told them was plain and simple,
I had an enlightenment in analysis and observation last month when I read the advanced mana and aura books.
Back in my old world nobody would have believed this nonsense but in this world, there is always one in a million chance for something strange to happen. A prime example would be my brothers. They were already different from the norm. Two geniuses in the same household aren't what you see every other day.
I told them only about the micro mana circles for enhanced senses but said that it can only be done for 1 minute at best. Then it would need a day before it can be reused.
They were a bit reluctant to accept my words but somehow did it anyway.
Soon a question and answer session began.
Why did I hide it?
I wanted to show off at a proper time.
Why didn't I use it while fighting the mid demon?
I saw a clear cut win, a chance for real-life experience for my brothers to grow and also Anna's enlightenment taking place. So, I thought of the best way of utilising the scenario.
What were my plans for the future?
To grow up to be an adventurer and explore the world.
Wasn't it a good chance to show off while fighting the devil?
I wanted to show off at the Academy.
What would I have done until then?
Increased my power slowly.
How?
I don't know yet but I will somehow.
What did I say to the High devil?
To go rogue.
Why?
Because I am going to become an adventurer from now on while spreading the news that we are kidnapped by a devil.
"And you think I would allow that?" Julia asked getting more fierce each passing second.
"There is no other option," I replied
What do I mean?
The devils will try again...they will try until they catch us. They were desperate. If we go to the royals, they will catch us and make us work for them only, adventuring will be limited. The other places that are deemed safe are all same.
What about near the Royal Academy?
Amanda and Linda will be going there along with Anna, uncle Mike and aunt Maria. A collection of geniuses will only make things worse. The prime example would be the elven princess and her companions. I heard 5supreme devils were sent there.
They fell silent at that point...
What about Corey and Chase?
They will come with me...after understanding deeper logic about mana and aura I can teach them better than most mages out there.
They fell silent again.
The talk continued for a while after getting the foremost conclusion that a platinum adventurer will always be present with us as a guardian until at least one of us can defeat him one on one without me using my ' limited ' powers.
They were trying their best to stop me but I won every argument that they put forward.

10:00 PM
At the roof of Eros mansion
I was laying against my back looking at the sky.
"The plan came forward, huh", I muttered.
'Well, it is a good thing in a way. But the difficulty increased by a good margin. Not knowing the power of the enemy will always be a major hurdle.
In any case, the Elven Kingdom should have something related to ancient mana nature for a deeper understanding of mana in their grand library, Heavens' Library. Let's start from there to increase our understanding of this world.'
I closed my eyes for a few moments.
" Elain, wait for me, will you? It won't take long. I will be there in no time.", I whispered slowly remembering the past moments I spent with her, how I first met her, etc. A tear fell from my eyes and flowed down to my cheeks.
I slowly wiped the tear then curled up to sleep.
My heart was hurting, a slight burning sensation can be felt too.
Soon the tears started flowing out.
I want to go meet her again. I want to see her, touch her...just once will be enough.
My thoughts started drifting as my heart was aching.
"It hurts..." I slowly mumbled as I kept myself in the same position as I slept.
I soon fell asleep without noticing someone watching me from behind.

10:00 AM
I woke up in the morning to find myself covered by a blanket and a pillow.
'Anna, huh'
I stood up and stretched taking my hand up into the air fingers crossed. Then looking at the blanket and pillow, I smiled. Yawning, I looked around. Judging from the sun's position it was roughly 10:00 AM.
'I slept a lot huh, must be mental fatigue.' I thought.
I got back down to see Corey and Chase preparing their bags for the travel.
Necessary things, momentos, a sword for Chase and a staff for Corey, etc. Some basic clothing and face masks to create a new identity. The masks were bought by mother and applied disguising magic by aunt Sophie. There were also a few artifacts for emergency uses. The best thing given to us was the dimensional pouch, it can store anything without any weight restriction in an area of 10m x 10m x 10m. I also enhanced my dagger to add a few more properties and bought a grey suit for any special occasion.
As the week passed, people started leaving one by one. Anna had tears in her eyes, she hugged us and made a promise to meet again 4 years later.
Chase and Corey started crying too, then Chase started her calling hag by habit, earning a few fists from her.
Amanda suddenly came forward and proposed to Corey for an engagement, which stumped everyone, especially Corey for a few moments before he could only nod slightly.
Everyone smiled at that point then started clapping making both the kids more embarrassed.
Looked like nobody objected to it.
Aunt Sophia looked at me, then said that she was thankful for me saving her and sorry that she couldn't fulfil her role of a teacher at which I only said that nobody could have predicted that something like this would have happened.
Mother looked at us before saying, 'if you cubs die I will kill you.' At which we could only nod, sweat was trickling down our faces. Forget about supreme devils nothing is scarier than a mother.
Instructor Samantha was still unconscious and was also taken along with uncle Mike to be healed after dropping Amanda, Linda and aunt Maria near the Royal Academy.
Soon everyone left and our turn came.
Everything that had happened was told to father already, he too objected to my plan very much but could only fall silent in the end. We soon wore the masks which had the disguising function, the masks were white and covered only our eyes and nose, we also wore black cloaks.
A lot of things had happened to me from the time I came into this world, from accepting myself as Light to accepting this family as my own. In the beginning, it felt odd but soon it came more normally to me, maybe because I had Light's memories. I am Aether and I am Light. There is no point in finding a difference at this point. Since I accepted the change, I will look forward to how much I will grow and how much my brothers can grow. I want to see the end of our journey. And today marks the first step of the journey.
We said goodbye to father and servants, according to mother we will meet the adventurer in the forest beyond the gate of Eros town.
We take the first step out of our house and our journey begins now.
