I open my eyes, and as soon as I do, I hear knocking on the door.

- May I enter, young master?

" It must be Roan"

- You may enter.

The door opens, and he steps into my room. I smile. Roan was my mother's best friend as well as my butler. He insisted it wasn't the case, but I'm completely certain that he even had feelings for my mother, however, she ended up falling for the owner of this estate, and the patriarch of one of the four Duchy of this kingdom: Duke Luke Arcadios. Roan used to be my mother's butler. He thought it was the best way to keep her safe. After all, contrary to his first arranged marriage, my father actually fell in love with my mother, and that could bring complications towards succession in other words, it could affect my father's decision for his heir.

-Your family is waiting for you downstairs for breakfast, young master.

Roan is a 36-year-old fairly handsome guy. He has green hair as well as green eyes. He's also quite tall; I would say around 6 foot ~ 6 foot 2 max. While my father is incredibly handsome, my mom is not the type to go for looks, so I sometimes wonder why she didn't choose Roan. At the same time, it seems like she always had a thing for older men even though Roan and her only had a 2-year difference (obviously, she was the oldest). She also had a 2-year difference with my father(he was the oldest).

-All right, I'm gonna get dressed and head downstairs.

-I'll be waiting for you at the door.

He walks toward the door, opens it, and closes it. As soon as he closes the door, I get dressed and head out. We then head to the dining room. I open the door and see a total of three people at the table. The first one is my father, he's now a 38-year-old man with dark red hair, contrary to my bright red hair, and he's still as handsome as he was in his younger days and just like always, he has that charisma and elegance oozing out of him. On the left side of the table, the first person is my stepmother Leyah Arcadios. She has Dark blue hair and eyes she's also 38 years old as for her appearance, while she's not an extremely beautiful woman, she is definitely a good-looking one and the best word to describe her would be: graceful. Next to her is my second stepbrother Jynn Arcadios; just like my stepmother, he also had bright blue hair; however, his eyes were bright red. He's of average height, and he's 14 years. To my father's right was my oldest brother Yoan Arcadios ( he's also the son of the wife). It was like I was looking at my father, the oldest looked just like our father when he was 18 years old (he's 18) with dark red hair and eyes as well as his handsome face.

- Sit down here, lil' bro. Says Yoan while tapping the seat next to his.

In most other families, the eldest is always trying to do any and everything in order to protect the title of the heir, which could create fighting against their other siblings for the position of the heir, but that was not the case with Yoan; the biggest reason why Yoan can act that way with us is because of the fact that he has no interest in becoming the heir. The thing with Yoan is that he's incredibly talented and powerful to the point that he's recognized as a genius throughout the kingdom and farther beyond that, but he's an extremely lazy person. He has no interest in gaining responsibility or anything that he considers troublesome, and even when I ask him why did he bother becoming a King's Sword, he tells me that he got stronger so that nobody could force him to do anything, but he accidentally got too strong and ended up with the title. A King's Sword is the title given to the strongest people in the kingdom. A kingdom's strength is often measured by the number of King's Swords they possess. In other words, it's an incredible title that takes an immeasurable amount of effort and talent. Of course, the effort part was unneeded for Yoan, and the worst of it is that he's the youngest person in the world that has reached such a level and title.

I drag the chair and sit down. I looked at my brother, and while my brother wasn't somebody that I hated, he wasn't somebody that I liked either. He never helped me because he thought it was too troublesome. I never liked him, but he was kind to me, and I also deeply admired his strength.

-What? Do I have something on my face NoNo

- I'm pretty sure I told you that I didn't like the nickname you gave me. I answer.

He smiles, and we all start eating. After 10 minutes, the servants start picking up the plates, and my father looks at me and says.

- Your coming-of-age ceremony is today, isn't it?

Oh shit! I got brought back the day of my coming of age ceremony. It's also the day I earn the nickname of Noble of Uselessness. At the coming of age ceremony, we place our hands on a transparent stone tablet that indicates what energy is the most compatible with your body out of the three energies. If you're compatible with mana, you then become a magician, a being that construct mana hearts with mana to use spells by bending the rules of the world outside of their body. The more mana hearts you possess, the stronger magic you can use; however, a person can only learn one type of magic it depends on your mana affinity; for example, Jynn has a fire affinity. Therefore, he can use Fire magic, while Yoan has a rare Dark affinity. Therefore, he can use Dark magic, and there is my father who possesses flame affinity, which, contrary to fire magic that only has overall control of the fire; flame magic permits you to control the flames to the point of even giving them sub-properties. My father is also called The Duke Of Healing Flames because he can add a healing sub-property to his flame. If you're compatible with Ki, you gain the ability to gather Ki in your dantian and bend the rule of your body with the use of martial arts. The Bigger your dantian is, the more Ki you can store through cultivation. And lastly, if you're compatible with Prana, you gain the ability to store Prana in your prana pool; however, Prana is an energy that can only be used in order to manifest the power of beings outside of this realm, in other words Blessing from a God or an Angel or the Curse of a Demon, it's pretty useless if you don't have one of those.

But that's not the problem; at my ceremony, it was revealed that I have compatibility with all of those energies. Usually, that would be great. Dual Affinities are incredibly rare, but Triple Affinity is even rarer since its hard to even build 4 mana hearts. You could compensate for your lack of them with your Ki through martial arts and even use a Blessing or a Curse, but I was born with a body that naturally absorbs Energicules( it his the raw form of energy depending on which Affinities you possess once it enters the body it then changes to that energy) which resulted in my body creating Ki, Mana, and Prana and because of that a balance was created inside my body. As soon as Energicules enter my body, it is equally transformed in each of the energies; due to that phenomenon, if I use any of the energies, the balance would break, the energies would then go rampant inside my body, and BOOM, I explode.

Later on, I discovered a way to also use an energy; however, I won't have enough time to use that method before the ceremony.
