Chapter 5: The Uncarried Mission

"You mean my soul does not match with my body because of this aura you spoke? " She tried cleaning up the confusion so Raele nodded and that made Kiana looked at him.

"Will you believe my story Raele?" She asked lifting him into her arm and letting him lean on her lap.

"Of course, it is your story, to begin with. I can only listen to you as your companion." Raele said moving his fur body onto her lap and he rested as if she isn't a stranger at all.

However, despite that action, Kiana felt as if he's trying to comfort her and she eventually gather her strength to reveal her identity to this beast.

"I once died, " she said. making Raele looked at her surprised.

"You. can see a person's aura right? Just like you said, my body does not match my soul. The reason is that I'm not from this era, I've already passed this era and I am from the future where I died in pits of flame. " There was a time when she wanted to hide this secret but keeping it to herself was nothing different, in fact, it only held her in a chain as if her secrets will blow up her decisions.

"You mean, you came back from time? " Raele asked and so Kiana nodded making the beast looked puzzled.

"I am a noble daughter of a duke, I was raised and born to become a queen as predicted. However, I must first pass the trial of the candidates and become a queen with my own ability. That is why at a young age, I become smart enough to know the secret of high society." There is a specific reason why she didn't pass the trial and she knew all of them, however, it was painful reminiscing the past even so it hasn't yet happened.

"I fell in love with the crown prince, I know it matters that I must pass the exam first but he was tempting. A sweet voice, a sweet poem, a smile like a bloom of tomorrow, and his kindness that pulled me off from 1st layer of hell to the 7th gate of the abyss. " Her expression turns pallid as she continues to spoke.

"I didn't know better that is why I become foolish. I didn't know I was actually dancing in the palm of the scheme and soon after realizing, it was too late to turn back. I have tarnished both the nobility and the royal, I was spoken of as the smart failure whose only brain only works on men as if I become a Bitch instead. " Her story made Raele concerned over her great hatred, but he was concern that the hatred she carries becomes guilt that will destroy her mental health.

"I had an uncle who's been banned for 20 years of his life, he only has 10-year gab with my father but my father was chosen as the next Duke. My uncle was unable to carry his duty because of his gambling addiction, so I had to work hard to make our family stronger but my uncle killed my father with a pale that triggers his symptoms that took his life. I thought if I can win the competition, I was able to save my family from bankruptcy but I didn't win... " She has bitten her lips trying not to outburst of anger and calm herself but her lips suffered and it bleeds, while she remains conscious of her actions.

"I had lost the competition and they throw me away. So I had to forget that I'm of nobility and found a place I call my home. I wanted a peaceful life but heavens didn't let me. The crown prince who betrayed me wants me dead. So I was portraited as a cunning witch who tried to persuade the crown prince, and the people in that village burnt me to death. " The beast now understands why she's desperate for assistance and why her soul didn't match the aura of her body as well as why does she know about him.

Of course, he was completely shocked but life is unexpectedly wary. He also guesses that the gods might be involved since they always take advantage of people's situations to scheme upon someone's goodness so he trusts the goodness of the gods.

Not only does he understand her, he understands her grief because he was also been betrayed.

"It's quite the shock, believe me, however, it seems that the god has given you a new life to change for the better to those who grief within a soul that does not want to perish. " He said looking at the far distance of the altar where he once lay and can never escape, he can only hear but he can never leave the empty space of the stone made to freeze him for internity.

Kiana slowly patted the beast and she vividly smile even though she knew that her mistakes can lead to many more miserable sacrifices but this time she can change everything.

Due to the weather, that rain might fall, the captain of this search team 'Sir Conrad' has been determined to find the lady before it gets dark. The more the night is set unto the Forest Of Narzia the more many wild beings appear one by one.

There was a rumor about that Forest, many said that it was hunted and those who enter the forest will never come back alive, the forest is a wild place for everyone and others are hunters so the temptation of the forest can never be avoided.

One day, a group of hunters with 4 people planned on hunting in the Forest Of Narzia because the hunters want to hunt down a bear that only resides in that forest.

Unknownly what lay behind those dark trees and bushes that has no shadow was the terrifying horror of the day and night.

The hunters lost their lives on that day and everyone considers that forest a living demon who will take advantage of hunters and kill them once there enter.

It's an urban story so many believe it was a myth, not that everyone believes it either way. So it didn't matter to the Byrne Knights because they swore to protect the there lady and they will die protecting her, that is the outh they made from the beginning of her birth.

"Salute to the Captain! " One of his men, covered in plated armor, holding a lance weapon and standing straight while greeting the captain in charge of this squad.

"You don't need to tell me, Redgar... Make a base now, the earlier we finish the easier we can move tomorrow. " Redgar nodded before he left to take action upon his order while Conrad left looking at the far distance.
