66 LXVI: Dream.

The night was quite beautiful this time, the stars seemed to be much brighter, and even the outline of the arms of a strange and unknown galaxy to some, but familiar to others, was visible in the night sky. Seone was one of those who saw the strange starry sky strangely before he had marveled at it and then ignored it, but today he felt that the stars in the sky tonight were truly bright.

The camp was silent except for the occasional footsteps of patrolling soldiers, the buzzing of insects, and the sound of nocturnal animals that had become accustomed to human presence in their territory. Marie was not with him, she was tired enough after certain special activities between couples, so Seone, sitting on a tree stump, was the only one looking at the sky.

Maybe it was the gentle cool breeze and the silence of the moment, but Seone felt completely relaxed, although he wished he had a drink to enhance the scene, he didn't think about it too much. But it was this calm that made him aware of someone approaching him.

Although the only remarkable thing about this person was her height, one of almost four meters, he could sense something special about this seemingly huge woman and realized that she was similar to the Guardian of the Fragment of the Garden of Eden that his companions had visited in the first few months. The appearance soon changed to a blonde woman dressed in a simple white cloth robe that covered her entire body.

Her eyes were as bright as the night stars and caused Seone, a strong-willed fellow with a boundless mind, to fall into a trance for a few moments, but no sign of alertness arose in him, it was as if it was impossible to feel fear or threat from this being in general.

The woman sat next to him, but she was so tall that Seone had to raise his eyes to see her. Sensing the curiosity of the 'little one' in front of her, she put her hand in his hair and stroked it like a mother would a child. The transition was smooth and natural, and Seone didn't feel anything unusual about it.

"It seems you have completed your 'life' my son," the woman said finally, her voice was not like anything Seone had ever experienced, it made him feel good, and comfortable, like the soft cooing of a mother when her child is crying or scared, that's how he felt after listening to her.

"You're that lady, aren't you?" he asked knowingly, wanting confirmation.

"Yes, I am this woman. I didn't expect that you would be the first of the seven present that day to digest the fragment of the fruit of life, that made me curious and I came to you in dreams," the woman answered him kindly, making Seone feel a little dazed, he didn't know when he had fallen asleep and that this was a dream, it was as if everything was reality.

"Don't try to understand, you won't be able to with your strength level. I can't get close to 'normal' people like you, and I have to use these methods to contact you. I am too powerful, so to speak, and even if you, my child, have the mental stamina to see me, others do not and it would hurt them," the woman answered as if anticipating Seone's questions as to why she had to use this type of method.

"Will you explain to me what it means that my life is complete?" asked Seone finally, causing the woman to smile at him.

"Humans are special, they are not born supernatural, but over time they can become supernatural according to their methods, for example, the Extreme Instinct you are trying to achieve with your Path of the Fighter is one method. The young human who renounced his elven blood and became a human, or rather a supernatural human, is another.

The magical transformation of mages or knights, or the immortality of cultivators. There are many paths out there, both good and bad, depending on your criteria, but in principle, they all seek one thing: the perfection of life.

It's not about having more power or some super cool mysterious state like the kids are saying these days, it's about the complete integration of your body, mind, and soul. So when you had that fight that finished healing your mental wounds, everything was aligned and you met the criteria to digest the fruit fragment.

Vitality, an energy that seemed strange to you, is no longer strange. Your special eye is now an essential part of you, and you can even inherit it. The special energy you call "spin" is also part of you, in addition to the space you instinctively left for what you need to complete your future path.

Now that I am observing you well... I can compare you to someone who wants to reach the sun, although you seem to have chosen a different path to incarnate a star, you are truly a cunning serpent, you bring back memories," the woman said, though her tone was somewhat heavy, her words were generally calm and even a little excited.

The doubts Seone had about the changes in her body were now gone. Her energy was now naturally dense and she didn't have to do it automatically, because it was as basic an instinct as breathing or the beating of her heart.

The spin, though not completely mastered, was also like a new limb, and even his eye as well as his skills felt much easier to use and felt like they had much more potential to develop.

He knew that this was a free way to become easier if before he had to last maybe 50 years like his father to become strong, he could do it in less time. Because it didn't give him new abilities, it just smoothed out the ones he had, and that's why he felt it was different, it was just much easier.

"Sure, it doesn't mean that your path is over, it just won't be as bumpy, those last achievements I mentioned to you won't be the end anymore, just a high peak to reach to see further and set out on a higher path. Before, there might have been fog in that view, but for you and the others, there won't be any such obstacles," the woman commented when she knew that Seone had finished clearing his mind.

This boy was a very pleasant surprise to her, she thought it would be the little dragon or the cute succubus, but it was Seone, to whom she only gave an interesting look due to Spin's energy at that moment, who surprised her in the end.

She had seen a lot in what could be considered a long and exaggerated life. How many geniuses she had seen, how many people who pushed themselves to the limit she had not seen, but perhaps Seone, who was neither a genius nor pushed himself to the limit, at least by her standards, would achieve something that would astonish her in this way.

The woman then noticed the reluctance in Seone, it was as if the boy had a certain ease in doing strange things, as if the laws of the world were more flexible with him. She inquired about this situation, and apart from noticing the attention of other distant existences, she noticed Smoke Seone.

Such a strange existence intrigued her and so she decided to approach Seone in dreams, she knew his nature immediately, it was not something she had seen before, it was so rare that it was simply the first time she had seen him. He had seen people with multiple personalities, with multiple souls, possessed, reincarnated, but never with a strange existence, Smoke Seone was not even a shadow of Seone, it was something rarer.

I knew from his strength that he was Smoke Seone, no, that he was Seone himself. He was not a child of fate, a chosen one of the world, or a godchild of nature. He was not aware of strange lineage, or strange blessings, but he was aware of Seone's true essence.

It had nothing to do with her apparent reincarnated status, she was someone who subscribed to the Omniverse TV+ streaming platform, no, Seone was an anomaly. A foreign concept to her, but she knew the definition because the SCP Foundation had its series uploaded to the aforementioned platform.

This realization made her feel strange, she never expected to come across something like this. Smoke Seone also noticed the timeless look the woman gave her, something that made her wonder.

"In the mind, there is no time, so the concept of time is foreign to me," Smoke Seone replied with a mocking smile. He was Seone and Seone was him, there was no difference between them, although they behaved and acted differently, they would always be one and were never more than one.

"Excuse me for looking at you like that," the woman said, noticing the somewhat annoyed tone in Smoke Seone's voice, for which she quickly apologized. No one likes to be stared at and analyzed in such an exaggerated way as the woman.

"No worries, I guess I should thank you. Your weird dungeon made Seone strong and your fruit made her way into a future Shonen Anime, so I'm the one to thank you," he greeted with a bow.

"No worries. But you make me curious, how long have you been conscious?" the Guardian asked, something everyone who knew a little about her existence had done.

"My God, why always the same question? How boring. Well, I've always been there since Seone was born, I've always been there, watching, remembering. You could say I played the role of the third person in Seone's mind, his voice of conscience, his counselor. I also felt the danger for him and helped him whenever I could.

When we read these novels on the Internet, we knew that we both had an excellent sixth sense, only I had developed it more by concentrating on it more. Now we're both on the same level. We were very athletic because we controlled our bodies so well, and we had the confidence to overcome the sadness caused by betrayal.

We had the will to die when we knew we could not survive in a world where the sun could be your friend. Now we are strong, we are growing, we are connected to other people, we are growing and in the future, the sun will be eaten by us.

We are not sides of a coin, because we only have one side, we are just Seone," Smoke said to Seone, and soon the woman felt herself expelled from the boy's mind, something that made her smile, she never expected a little boy to be so cheeky with her.

At that moment, Seone's time seemed to resume, and with new information in his mind, his eyes narrowed, and looked at the woman beside him with determination. Those eyes also carried an obvious message that anyone with a little sixth sense could understand.

Don't spy on me or I'll cut you," his gaze conveyed, even though he was grateful for this woman and in awe of her power, and even though it was impossible to feel negative emotions towards her, his own will made him convey a threat that he would try to fulfill.

"Being able to threaten me is a sign of how complete your life is, you couldn't even come up with something like that before, isn't it interesting?" the woman said, taking Seone in her arms and giving him a loving kiss on the cheek, her tone of voice was proud as if her son had gotten an A+ in school.

Seone felt weird because he had just threatened someone and that person was now treating him like his son, this transition made him feel a little out of place, but hey, a giant woman was giving him motherly love, he wouldn't think about niceties.

"You're Eva, aren't you?" asked Seone suddenly, he felt the hug get much tighter, and even he felt squeezed, but not enough to complain or stop breathing.

"I was once called that, but the story you know isn't quite right, you know, they get lost and add things, especially when those stories don't come from your homeworld," the woman said in a sad voice, making Seone, who had many questions, become quiet.

...

Seone woke up, still sitting on the tree stump, only a few seconds had passed, but he knew that he had had a good talk with literally the mother of humanity, a talk that made our boy feel happy. To be able to tell her everything that had happened in these months to a figure like her without any doubt was a pretty good thing.

"Ah... speaking of family, what will that brat Alex do? Looks like I'll have to kick him tomorrow as his big brother, how could he not come to visit me?" Seone complained although she smiled as she said these words.

His relationship with Alex was like that of a pair of brothers, so this gives us a chance to see what he and his group have been up to, doesn't it?
