49 Ups and Downs

Alright, this will be my first attempt at writing spicier material. I'm still learning, so skip it if you find it too cringy.

Daniel's car was parked in a secluded spot at an overlook inside Daniel and Haley were too caught up in the moment to care about if anyone might stumble upon them because, In the back seat, they were completely absorbed in an intense make-out session.

"Wow, what's up with you" Daniel said, breaking the kiss for a moment taking a moment to catch his breath.

"What's up with me !! I haven't seen you for a week that's what's up with me" she said before pulling him back in for another deep kiss. Her hands roamed through his hair, pulling him closer her hands started to explore Daniel's chest. She moaned softly against his lips as he caressed her back and ran his fingers through her hair.

He broke the kiss again "I am not complaining" he said looking into her eyes this earned a playful smirk from Haley. "You better not be," she teased. Feeling braver, Haley pushed Daniel down onto the seat and climbed on top of him.

"Whoa" he exclaimed in surprise at this sudden act of dominance from her.. Haley, now straddling Daniel, looked into his eyes and kissed him passionately once again. Haley's hands began to wander, roaming over Daniel's chest and abs.

"You're putting on more muscle ," Haley remarked.

"Glad to see, all that time at the gym has paid off," he responded, enjoying the attention she gave him.

This time Daniel took the initiative and kissed her. He slowly moved from her lips to her cheeks. He started kissing a trail down her neck, eliciting a soft gasp from Haley. She tilted her head back, giving Daniel better access.

She gripped her hands on his shoulders and she relaxed on to him loving the smell of his cologne and the heat of his body on hers. He continued placing soft kisses on her neck eliciting giggles from her. He moves back up to her face and plants a soft kiss on her lip again.

"Did you like that?" Daniel murmured, looking up into her eyes.

"Yes," she whispered back.

As they continued to kiss Haley's movements became more instinctive, her hips shifting rhythmically in response to Daniel's touches Daniel couldn't help but let out a groan as he felt her against his hardening erection. She realized what she was doing and she loved it. She loved how he reacted. With a sly smile, Haley slowed down her movements and heard him groan in frustration.

As she leaned in to kiss him again a loud noise from the front of the car interrupted her. Startled, She quickly got off him

"What was that?" Haley asked, alarmed.

"I don't know," Daniel replied.

Quickly, they scrambled to adjust their disheveled clothing and got out of the car. They approached the front of the car to see a miniature plane embedded in the now-cracked windshield.

"What in the actual fuck?" Daniel exclaimed.

"Oh my god, is that a plane?" Haley said, mirroring Daniel's expression.

"Why would anyone fly it here?" Daniel asked, frustrated, looking at the cracked windshield of his new car.

Haley gently removed the plane from the windshield. "Maybe it was just an accident, you know, kids playing around or something."

Daniel took the model plane from Haley and examined it. His anger slowly dissipated as he looked at the plane. The windshield could be fixed easily.

"It's a model plane. I've always wanted one of these," Daniel said, looking at Haley.

"You should keep it," Haley suggested with a smile. "I mean, it's only fair," she added, looking at the cracked glass.

"What? No, why would I do that? Let's just go," Daniel said, leaving the plane on the ground. Their intimate moment, ruined by this strange and unexpected incident.

As they drove away, Haley remembered something. "You know," she said, catching Daniel's attention, "my grandpa has a whole collection of those planes."

"Really?" Daniel replied, mentally adding a note to ask Jay about model planes.

"So you're going back home?" she asked.

"No, I'll drop you off at your house. I have to go check out a theater" he said.

"Oh is this for your friend's concert what was her name again…" she asked.

"Yes and her name is Joanna," he answered.

"Can I come with you?" she asked.

"Sure, I'd like some company," he answered.

Haley and I entered the small theater where Joanna was going to perform her first live show. I walked in to find the place larger than I expected.

"Bigger than I expected," I muttered.

"I thought it was going to be bigger," Haley said from my side.

"Have you heard her songs?" I asked.

"I thought I wouldn't like it . They are more in Alex's lane, but I liked some of them," she answered.

As we moved further into the theater, I heard some familiar voices.

"This is a big place, Lucia. I thought we agreed on something small."

"It's not that big." a very exasperated voice answered.

It was Lucia and Joanna. They were here as well. I turned to see where they were and spotted them by the stage.

"Hey," I called out.

They both turned to see me waving at them. Lucia's expression shifted slightly upon seeing Haley, while Joanna seemed unaffected and genuinely pleased to see us.

"Hey, Daniel, you're here as well," Joanna said as we approached.

"Yeah, came to check out the place," I said, looking around. I heard Haley cough to my side.

"Oh, you guys know Haley," I said, gesturing to her.

Joanna greeted Haley warmly. "Good to see you again, Haley." Lucia greeted her as well, though her politeness carried a hint of reservation.

"Daniel, this place feels too big," she confessed, her eyes scanning the theater.

"It's not that big," Haley commented.

"Yeah, Haley's right. You're gonna be fine," I said, leading them to check out the place.

We looked around the theater; there was a lot of work to be done. Lucy was taking care of that. Joanna looked excited as she finally walked out onto the stage, looking at the empty chairs from there. I walked over to her and gave her some more encouraging talk. As we were talking, I saw Joanna and Haley exchange a look between them. Joanna had a small smile on her face; Haley returned it with a confident smile of her own.

'What's all this about?' I thought.

"Daniel, can you help me with a song? I wanted to debut it at the show," she said, her eyes still on Haley.

"I… umm… sure, why not," I answered.

"Thank you, Daniel," Joanna said happily as she walked off the stage to where Lucia was. I looked at Haley; she had an unreadable expression on her face.

"You wanna do something else?" I said to her.

"No, just take me home," she answered.

"Hey, is something wrong?" I asked, sensing a shift in her mood.

"No, I'm just tired, that's all," she answered.

Oh great, what did I do?

I navigated through the empty corridors of Stardust Studio. There was no one here today except for Chris and one of the shareholders, Ralph Langston. I liked Ralph, when I first met him I quickly charmed him, and the secret weapon I had helped a lot in that process. Securing Ralph's support was the most important part of the plan to oust Jeremy and Jacob. He also helped in getting others like them out, something Chris and I both wanted.

I entered the office to see Chris and Ralph talking. They spotted me and greeted me warmly. Ralph extended his hand with a smile that crinkled the corners of his eyes. "Daniel, my boy, congratulations! It's almost like you've been in this business for decades."

"Thank you, Ralph. That means a lot coming from you," I said. I didn't need to play the modesty card here.

Ralph sighed, his expression turning somber. "I had known their predecessors, and worked closely with them. They were good, honest men. It's a shame to see how things have turned out."

Chris, standing by the window overlooking the studio lot, turned and added, "Yes, they were. That is why I went to them in the first place."

"Well, you couldn't have known their successors would be like this," I said. "But now we can move forward without that baggage."

Ralph nodded, a hint of relief in his eyes. "Indeed. And it's all thanks to both of you."

Suddenly, the phone rang. Chris walked over to check who it was and was surprised to see it was Henry Morgan, our other partner in crime.

"It's Henry," Chris said, picking up.

"I still can't believe you got Henry fucking Morgan in on this," Ralph muttered. I laughed at his words, thinking how lucky I was to bump into the billionaire at WrestleMania.

Henry's warm voice filled the room through the speakerphone. "Gentlemen, it's done," he declared.

"Yes!" Chris said, pumping his fists into the air.

"I now hold one of the largest shares in Stardust. I guess that makes me the new head honcho, huh?" he said with a hearty laugh.

Chris, taken aback, managed a nervous chuckle. "You had me worried for a second there, Henry."

"Just pulling your leg, Chris," Henry reassured him, his tone easing into seriousness. "But on another note, Daniel, those stock picks you suggested are performing excellently. You've got quite the knack for this."

"It's been working great for me as well," I replied, to the confusion of the two men in the room.

"And about that movie script you sent over," Henry continued, "I really hope we can make it soon. It's a brilliant piece of work."

"You truly are a genius, kid," he added.

"Ah, he sent it to you as well," Ralph said, looking at the phone.

"Wait, what script?" Chris asked, confused.

"Oh, I had to use an extra something to bait these two old men," I said jokingly.

"Hey, we aren't that old," both Henry and Ralph said at the same time.

"Again, what script?" Chris asked.

"I'm sorry I didn't give this to you before, Chris. It slipped my mind," I said, taking out a manuscript from the bag I brought with me. "Here, I bought another copy with me," I added, giving it to him.

"You are going to love this, Chris. The movie is destined for the Oscars," Ralph said.

Chris looked at the title of the script in his hands; it read 12 Angry Men.
