286 (286) Stupid Boy

"What's your name?"

The young man watched as his chained comrades were carried off toward the west. He turned to the woman, unsure of whether he wanted to answer.

"Are you going to kill them?" He asked, looking at her as if she were some kind of monster.

Zolis looked at the boy as if he were stupid, "Wipe that nasty look off of your face, or I'll do it for you. Weren't you planning to charge into our town that we worked for just to kill us for your own gains?"

The man opened his mouth to reply but shut it quickly and thought about what she said. He looked at her for a moment before speaking.

"We're only attacking because you killed some of our members," he said.

Zolis shook her head, and Swole laughed from behind him.

"Are you stupid, boy?" Swole asked. "You plan on dying like these other fools, believing in a false cause spewed to you by your elders?"
