Desperate measures

RACHEL'S POV

I stood still, fully frozen; my eyes widened in awe as I remained transfixed, shaken by the sudden revelation. I couldn't believe it. All this time I spent hating Devon, all this time I spent trying to kill Devon, even going as far as wanting to team up with his enemies, hating him for killing my dad, and the actual murder was Maxim. 

No, it couldn't be. Devon is just forcing Maxim to confess to a crime he didn't commit; it doesn't mean anything. But then, why does Maxim know the tiny details of how he was killed? No! This wasn't a time to freeze again. I tightened my fist, determination coursing through my veins as I rushed back into the pack-house.
