Here I Stay

The day next came upon, as the night before had faded. I gained awareness and awoke anew as though if I had felt the most peaceful rest that ever happened upon my life. This is the first time I felt true peace... Now awakening I felt the sunlight beam into the room from a nearby window of gentle warmth and splendor. And it happened upon me that I felt on my body, a cloud and a soft bed that arose beyond my being in an abundant amount. And on the side of this bed were draped black cloth that was meant to block light out. And I could feel the warmness of the sunlight as I felt the place of which I laid. I felt no negativity in my full body and rested a moment more in silence and awe to which marvel and such grand adjure that I could remanence in.

For it happened not before this moment but, the room appeared and seemed like a dream. Fancy couldn't describe it's simple deep strougten beauty it laid in, but that would be correct. The room was that of a truly marvelous shojou fantasy. A floor with a soft light green carpet that spanned an immense floor; Two windows one to my right behind my shoulder; And the other sideways to the left. Which the sun came and sat into the room upon seeing such beautifully crafted glass panes. And to the sides of the bed where two small stands and a few dressers in this room.

It took only a physical moment to glance around, but my soul surrendered to keeping this moment as a treasure which no one could ever take away... And I got to spend at-least a hour in admiration at the moment I only dreamt about. For I can say a past with no stature least given it's own desire. This place was not mine... But I yet not having a place to reside before, dreamt and resided into such a place like this. Yet this could not be a mere dream for I could feel the bed before my feet and the new soft long dress that I wore. Why seemed it to me I could not cry in such a moment to express awe? For last I felt like I finally was home. Yet aware this was not mine it felt such.

So the full hour passed, and as I yawned from awakening after thinking much to myself. A slender man appeared dressed in a long black attire, different than a butler, but in his own style; A long coat and a black mask he wore upon his face. But I knew it to be Makas, the man from before. He knocked, then opened, and allotted the door with a slight touch and brought a simple tray made from pure sliver with a bowl and a tea platter with a cup upon it. He grasped it with ease and brought it over to the bed side table on my left.

"Good after noon miss Emi, I brought you a simple breakfast." And then glancing at the tray after hearing him, I smelled a pleasant aroma. It was a simple cup of green tea in a elegant, glistening white cup with a golden lining; A set of heavy silver utensils I've never seen in person before; And a bowl of grits that had toast on the side. This was but truly so simple... yet I nearly did begin to cry, I saw this before but this time it wasn't a dream this time, huh?

He saw me look at it for a moment. But after a moment of peace I began to eat after I wiped the tears from my face.

"Thank you... Really." I said, eating in a manner that assumed I was hungry. For maybe he could have known I haven't had hardly any food in 7 days.. But indeed it is one's body that all rest upon.

He said nothing and sat in an adjacent chair and watched the peace of the moment that befell the manor. She then finished after a few minutes and sat the cup down after finished drinking the rich green tea that couldn't be competed against.

So really... it was indeed not a dream. She laid down her hands and bethought it to be, but knew it not. Her hands opened and gleaming in the warmth that dressed the room... Then gently after a moment were laid on the blanket she was still covered in.

"So this is real... Is this palace or manor yours?" She asked soft spoken in a indirect manor looking near him.

He then arose and came to my right side and knelt before me and spoke, "Simply, it is not my manor. But indeed your manor, madam."

A sparkle of hope shone in her eye's in the watery reflection that was in her eye's. "Really..." She spoke but young in her heart she couldn't contain a mature emotion that she wanted to use as a facade of unsurprise.

Her hands clasped around her nose but her heart couldn't cover how she felt, with a overly true sense of joy amidst the world that she once perceived harsh and trying. Tears fell, warm yet soft and true. And they couldn't be contained.

"I don't... I..." But bearing what she was was trying to say. Makas then spoke, "Young miss, it's okay now." He said patting my head softly now standing besides me. Patting it over and over as a caring father would. I looked at him in a soft gaze upon the room.

Truly, was this the first time I actually looked at him? His hair was kinder than the wind. His eye's firm and fierce, yet spoke with compassion. And his complexion seemed not to age beyond 30. And yet the sun also seemed to give to him a soft eminent radiance.

But then he spoke after a moment and said, "This, place here. Is indeed your manor." He said unfazed by time.

"Welcome home. Miss Emmia." Makas spoke standing besides me with his hand on my head.

"How long has it been, since I heard those words..." Wiping my tears away. "How could I bear such a home, such a warm stature which man calls evil upon one's lack and limitations..."

"It bears true indeed." He said besides me lifting his hand off my head, "But to the virtue which you came to me and asked upon forth my name. For then as you asked the night before. That I bear with you til the end of time itself to set forth thy desire. Have I also imparted truth and wisdom upon thee." He said as standing in the elegance of the light.

Then he spoke in an enlightening manor, directed towards me, "For here I shall stay with you, by your side, in truth. Past eternity itself." He spoke soft. But then he began to bow in front of me and his hand gestured gracefully across his body. "So miss Emmia, Emi. I ask then now of thee. Show me thine intent upon thy heart for which forth thine journey shalt be set forth apart from this day."

Then again, as the night before, I just looked at this moment, without labels. And realized, reality is in this moment. Present, which many let by and set forth on the wayside without awe and reverence. And so man discards it, over and over again. But unless neigh they come to seek a new heart. So then shall a new man who put's aside all for the dream to experience truly all one's desires.

But indeed I felt he spoke only in truth that I bear to ask myself many times before... What is it that I strive for with a pure expression of heart? My intent was sure that night and to only that which myself knows, as I remembered looking back upon it. So then I shared with him the reason I summoned him on such a fateful night as before.

"I... I want to have you with me, together. So I can create a society set upon Truth. A world that hides not behind a facade or appeasing, but that upholds justice deemed by truth and hope to those that perceive limits from this negligent society." I said to him aloud.

He then stared at me firmly, but none the same. "Well it is then for you, Miss Emi." He said then reaching out both his hands out towards me and kissed my right hand. "I await upon you for this interesting adventure. For surly I can tell you know what awaits... Yet that's what you set upon yourself to go after." He said then bowing at her. "Very well, but before we begin. There are many things to be taught to you still."

"Like what?" I spoke.

"Well to get started, making you accustomed to eating with proper silverware." He then looked over at plate and pointed out I ate grits with a fork and toast with a spoon. Though at-least I drank my tea proper. He appeared to laugh a little and stand up with the tray and walk out towards the door.

Then as he was at the door, he looked back and said, "There are clothes for you available and a shower to use miss. Take your time and you may meet me out in the main living area straight down the hall leftward. Then facing right, down the stairs and to the left." He said and then proceeding out the door, shutting behind him.

It seems like things worked out. Then stretching my right shoulder forward up over my left side. I spoke to myself, "Though I thought this day would come not... After much struggle it came and I am here now... In a marvelous home to call my own... But enough said, I shall retire to the bath and met with him afterwards." Thus marked my beginning in this manor, the place I now had to call home.

Deep truths shared to change false attitudes of man in a beautiful story.
