Seeing this scene, I would never imagine that I could finally break free of the chains binding me.

I understand the look on A'liu's face, the concern in her eyes is apparent and I couldn't blame her.

In her view, her best friend had separated from her husband. For her, I may look depressed and may have a bitter look in my eye. It's natural to think that I would be living miserably but I'm not, I won't waste my time and live my life pathetically.

"I'm glad, you don't need men to be happy! I and your family are here to stay with you! I promise that you'll never feel lonely again!" She cheered me up making me burst into laughter but at the same time, feel touched.

She's right, you don't need a man or a boyfriend or a bud and just to say that you are an accomplished woman. Love isn't the only thing that circles in your life, it's not a measurement for happiness it's just something that everyone could and could not have.

"I know, thank you for your advice A'liu" I held her hand while she narrowed her eyes at me.

"Hmph, you better listen to me you hear me?! I often give advice to you but it would always go to your right ear and leave to your left ear!"

"Okay, I am in the wrong, I forgot that single dogs give the best advice mostly on the topic of love" I teased her and as expected, she hit my arm lightly.

"I'm not a single dog anymore! I have Zhu Rong Heng!"

"You two are real boyfriend and girlfriend now?" I whispered while she blisters beet red making the wheels in my head turn.

"No..." She trailed off and wander her eyes out warily before continuing. "It's me... well, he's kind and gentle and um... I-I"

"You like him?" I cut her off and stated the obvious.

It's clear to see that A'liu has fallen to the black-bellied Zhu Rong Heng and honestly, I'm glad that she fell for him.

Zhu Rong Heng is a good-looking and gentleman but I have already known about his true colors. He's just one of the candidates for A'liu so he's still on probation for me.

But ilk gives him extra points since he saved A'liu for the time being.

One thing to say about A'liu is that if she wanted something, she will get it no matter what but if she really can't have it, then she'll give up. That's an attitude that I appreciate about A'liu.

Some people wouldn't make the effort and some wouldn't give up even if it's futile. It's better to be in between, you wouldn't waste your efforts and wouldn't get hurt from too much waiting.

"You can do it! If he doesn't like you then it's his loss, you're such a wonderful woman, I believe that if he isn't blind then he'll accept you"

The two of us chatted about any mundane things in our life. A'liu animatedly talking about the stunning and gentleness of Zhu Rong Heng and how his family adores her. The anger and frustration that she felt when I told her to leave my matters alone and how Zhu Rong Heng, her knight shining in armor came to her rescue.
