Chapter 7

Aritia found the place at the market of Little Troms. She was finding out about the witch who accept her there. The witch was being her mother's old friend. So, that witch lady allowed her to stay there and learn how to become a white witch. Aritia was hoping to learn new skills from that witch in the coming future. The witch was accepting her at her place because she is the daughter of her friend. She said, "I saw the picture of you and others at the academy". Witch Angelica said, "Do you know why your mother wasn't sending you there?". She said, "My mother told me that I have a serious illness so she doesn't allow me to go far". Witch Angelica said, "Do you trust your mother?". She said, "Yes, of course". Witch Angelica didn't say anything further to break their mother and daughter relationship. However, Angelica knew that the girl may find out the reason for her birth. She was hardworking at the herb shop and try to receive orders from customers. Most of the time, Angelica sent her to find the herbs in the forest near the city. She didn't know who own the area. So, she lost her path sometimes. One day, she went out to find the herbs but she doesn't show up in the evening. The witch Angelica was worrying about her. However, she was getting busy with a serious case. The people in town were having the unknown flu. Anglica was visiting their home and giving them the possible potion to feel relieved soon. But the people in town were getting worse. She didn't know what to do. At last, the missing girl showed up back. It was after two days. So, she said, "Where have you been?". That girl said, "I heard that you are getting busy with unknown flu". She said, "Yes, I am". Then, that girl told her about her accident and who take her back here safely. Anglica was checking around Aritia's body and neck. But Aritia said, "What was wrong?". Angelica said, "Just stay still". Then, Angelica found the bite mark around the neck. Aritia was hiding that mark by wearing the scarf. Angelica said, "Who take you along?". Aritia said, "I am so sorry for not coming back early but he is the good guy". Angelica said, "How can you say that?". Aritia said, "I love him and I know it's a short time". Angelica said, "Witches and vampire lords aren't a possible relationship". Aritia said, "Why?". Angelica gave her some herbs to cure her wound and treat the vampire poison. However, she said fine. Angelica was sending the letter to her mother to come over.

Aritia went into her room after Angelica scold her. She didn't know what is going too wrong. She was feeling too tired and sad so she lay on her bed and think about her happy time. She was so happy when she came here. She was working too hard and learning the new spells and everything from witch Angelica. She hoped that she does her best. But Angelica would send her away because she isn't coming back early. She only thought that way. She didn't understand why the witch and vampire can not love. In her mind, she was thinking only to finish the mission. Her mother told her not to come back at least she become a resident witch. So, she was trying so hard to get her own place. She would leave Angelica's place when she gets the villagers' trust. While she thinking about all those things back then and tears are falling like tapping water from her eyes. It was overflowing and she keep her tone down. She was hiding her face under the pillow so she don't feel the wind change in her room. She was putting her face on the pillow and crying out loud. She didn't care anything more. At that time, the person was sitting right next to her. Then, she heard a slow and soft tone of him near her ears. She couldn't believe her ears but he keep closer to her head and bite her left ear. She was turning her face to the left and see him under the dim light of a candle. When she saw him, she is putting her face in his chest and cried again. He was patting her back and hugging her tight. That night, he was walking around the forest but she is losing her path to go back home. And then, she met the wolves which have fangs and haunt her. She was running away from the wolves but she can't find the way out. He was saving her from the cliff and take along with him to his mansion. His mansion was getting too far from the village. So, she couldn't go back there for weeks. On that day, he was feeling weak too because of the fight with the wolves. She gave her blood to him for paying back the debts. But Angelica thought about it in a different way.

Godfrey couldn't even sleep tight in his coffin. He kept thinking of her warmth and the sweet scent of her blood. After he sucks her blood, he feels strongly in the vein. He didn't know what is so special in her blood. But she was being special to him. So, he was deciding to go to see her at night. When he got near, he feel better. He felt like he a curse by an ordinary girl. He was waiting until she fall asleep. And then, he broke into her room and go closer to her. As he knew, she feel his existence in the air. She opened her eyes when he is getting too close. He said, "Hey, it's me". Her eyes were blinking like a star and moved up closer to him. He was sitting on her bed and then she is hiding her face in his chest and cried. He was patting her back and asked, "What happened?". She said, "Don't ask please stay still".
