Roar of Freedom
(Author here! First of all thanks to all of you reading out there. I got inspired from few fanfics to write one of my own so here is the first Fanfic I write for public. I should warn you guys that English is not my native language but I proof-read my chapters with grammar checker, so mistakes should be few but if you see anything please let me know. Also ideas for Arcs or anything else is highly appreciated.)
Mary Geoise, it is a place filled with grandiose mansions and places. Only the noblest of the noble folk can even step in here.
In one of those mansions a scene that never happened before in 800 years of Maria Grosei history took place. Over a dozen of dead bodies covered in their blood and one young boy around 12 years old with red hair and eyes stood in the middle, blood dripping from his fists.
The Young boy had a body to envy, muscles in the right places, flex with each breath. His slight long hair tied as high-pony tail, while some strands falling onto his face. He has a scar vertically over his left eye along with other scars littering his body, giving him very savage look. He is tall for his age at 170 cm.
That is not the strangest thing happened today actually. You see, this young boy is not from this world, or at least his mind is not from here. He was a young man that met his way early demise and got a second shot at life by a great being.
Back in his old world he signed up as an organ donor, so after his death doctors harvested his organs carefully and saved people that given hope to live. This of course earned him a great amount of karma point which allowed him to keep his memories and two additional things.
First is a new body, he wanted to be in his older body, but Great Being warned him dangers of other worlds so he agreed to a new body, which due to his luck he became a Fanalis from the manga Magi.
Fanalis is a hunting tribe from the dark continent. Their physical strength and senses are beyond that of a normal humans. Breaking metals such as steel with bare hands is more like child's play for them.
Second gift he got is a classic system that is shown in fanfiction and webnovels. But of course without that bullshit sentient A.I or un-refusable quests which makes the user slave to the system. In the system he can track his training and make changes according to that.
There is also a shop which is more expensive for what you could buy on real life, but there is items other worlds too so kinda worth the price?
He can pull lotteries, but he needs to accomplish certain achievements to get lottery tickets.
There is also an inventory, but it can only store money or things he bought from the shop.
Lastly is a talent system. This part is very similar to a Skyrim but fitted for this world. In there he can branch out for countless option for the future. But unfortunately most of them are grayed out as he is lacking sufficient points.
The moment he opened his eyes, he was expecting to be on a secluded island or something, but instead he met with a pig-like celestial dragon trying to brand him with slave brand. With sudden shock and adrenaline rush he punched the smug mug of the noble and killed over a dozen guards and family members the noble had in the room.
"Oh fuck…" he said to himself. " I just had to transmigrate in the middle of holy land… I even killed a world noble too…"
Normally when he watched the One Piece show he always wanted to see the death of one of those world nobles, but wanting and doing himself is a very different thing. If anyone sees him right now than whole marine army will rain hell upon him.
"I need to get out… but first…" he rushed out of the room and searched every inch of the grand mansion, more like a castle due its sheer size. Finally, after half an hour of searching he found the treasury.
"Finders keepers." When he opened the large steel doors, crazy grin found its way to his face.
Rows of chests filled with gold bars and all kinds of jewelry. But what made him happy the most is the two devil fruit at the back. One is a peach with dark reddish color with teardrop like swirls. Second one is a light blue pear with wavy swirls looks like a gas.
This of course gave him a clue for being a logia type. He remembers that Mera-Mera fruit also had flame like swirls. Which made him kinda eat the fruit right now, but he also felt great power from the other fruit, something overly familiar with him.
With that in mind, he quickly opened the shop function of the system and found a certain potion can give him ability to consume two devil fruit but that's it. He also finds a potion that can extract devil fruit from the consumer without killing them, but if he chooses to consume two devil fruit than he can't use this.
The potion was a billion berry in price, but thanks to world noble treasury, he could buy it, but that took almost half of the available money here.
"They must keep their money in some sort of bank. There is no way they have this little money."
He slowly approached to two fruits and picked it up. "Fuuu… my luck brought me here after all those shit… just one more time baby." He chucked the potion and took bites from two devil fruit. Foul taste almost made him puke, but he forced it down. Immediately few transparent blue screens appeared before him.
[Ding! User consumed two Devil Fruit! Ability to swim and extracting Devil Fruit from oneself is nullified!]
[You consumed Mythical Zoan type Neko-Neko no Mi, Model: Nemean Lion.]
[You consumed Logia type Sui-Sui no Mi.]
He couldn't believe just what he sees. First is the Zoan type, he knows from Wano Arc that how overpowered some the Zoan types, especially Mythical ones. Very high regenerative powers, great boost to Haki and super strength.
Last one is especially true for him as Nemean Lion is known for its great strength.
But the most shocking thing is the Sui-Sui fruit. This allows him to turn gas Hydrogen, the most abundant element in the universe and the lightest element of the periodic table. It is highly flammable which can be a weakness, but also a great advantage in a fight.
He can also control the temperature, turning into liquid Hydrogen which has a temperature of -250 Celsius, can use this to freeze people like Aokiji.
Quickly he gathered every money and gold in the room and got away. While trying to find a way to escape, he stumbled upon to the warehouse that salves are being held up. Two guard in heavy armor took watch at the door.
"I shouldn't…" Inwardly he debated just getting away or help those people. "Fuck it already caused enough trouble, few more wouldn't hurt."
He pumped hydrogen around the guards, having them inhaling it. Hydrogen in right temperature is colorless and odorless so they didn't even notice it. When they inhaled enough amount he quickly turned it to liquid, freezing them quickly from inside.
Opening the door, he is greeted by dozens of malnourished slaves from all genders and age. He broke the collars and shackles on them easily. Thankfully, they didn't have any explosive collars he saw from the show. Most likely those are for the personal slaves that nobles always drag around.
"I will create a big mess for you guys to run away, few ships at the dock might be unprotected." He informed them.
He was about to leave, but a girl few years older than him stopped him. His eyes widened a little seeing the familiar girl. She had silky black hair tied in pigtails and have big blue eyes. She is Boa Hancock, one of the main characters from the show, especially after the time-skip.
"How you will cause the mess?" She asked disbelievingly.
"Don't worry about that, focus on escaping." He once again tried to leave, but Hancock stopped him, grabbing his arm.
"A-at least tell me your name…"
That stopped him right on track. Of course he had a name but that was in his past life, he died and reborn as a new person…
"My name is… King… Fanalis D. King." He said it with a genuine smile. He is fanalis due being reborn and only King suits his strength and powers.
That night whole Mary Geoise burned with ferocious flames and the mighty roar of freedom was heard.
