Chapter three

At least this time Anna got to the office right on time as she walked towards her desk. She smiled at everyone and immediately she sat on her desk her office bestie came running to her desk to talk. Immediately she saw her she smiled at the cute sight of it. Her bestie's name was Jade. she had black hair green eyes and a little pout lip which made her look like a kid. She had freckles around her small cute nose, she was average height, and also had a cute body stature.

"Hey girl!"Jade said immediately she got close as she went to hug Anna.

"Hi!"Anna said with a small voice and a little smile. Even though she was a little sad she tried to lighten her mood because Jade was almost like a sister to her. She had met her only recently but they bonded quickly.

"WhatsUp girl? I'm so happy your okay!"Jade said with a little voice of relief.

"Why? nothing is wrong with me!"Anna said with a little awkward laugh at Jade.

"Have you heard of the killings that happened yesterday? they were hella bloody and they happened so close to where you left so I was worried."Jade said everything with one breath while looking pretty sad and frustrated.

Anna could understand how she felt because basically everyone in this town was frustrated and sad about the killings that were happening.

Parents whose daughters were killed cried out for justice and we're silenced immediately by the sword of strange men.

"I am fine luckily!"Anna said at last after thinking about everything that was happening.

"I'm very happy about that!"Jade said with a smile as she hugged her one more time and walked away.

Anna felt her heart warm, since she came here Jade was the only person who didn't think she was weird and a freak. Everyone avoided her both in this city and in this company too. She was basically alone most of the time and never had a friend till Jade joined the company and immediately started talking to Anna who thought it was a gift from God.

After a while, Anna smiled and continued her work quietly.

Meanwhile, in a dark room, someone is seen...talking on the phone with someone. From the looks of things, it didn't seem like it was a friendly conversation at all it looked like they were talking about something serious.

"Eyes on target sir!" the person in the room said.

"Make sure to keep an eye on her! I will tell you when to strike!" the person on the other side of the phone spoke.

"No problems sir when your ready just tell me!" the person in the room said and cut the call.

After that, the person smirked as it looked at the picture of someone.... some girl.....
