Chapter 1 Regret

"Do we have to? I don't want to," the boy gazed at the girl that keep looking out of the window.

"I'm sorry but this is the end," the girl said trying to cover the sadness that she have. She turn and kept smiled at her boyfriend. She admit that she may be cruel to both of them but.

She decide to stop their relation because she don't want to continue it. The boy that always flirt with any girl he sees made she realized she want to stop it.

She don't want to keep anxious and being a control or jealous girlfriend. She tired when other girl always bullied her.

"Mavis, I really love you. I'll try okay. Protect you and." The boy grabbed her hand when he sees the girl want to leave.

"Sorry, Zack," she interrupted and push his hand that hold her. She leave.

The boy sees that and punch the wall behind him. The pain that he have on his hand can't rivalled the pain his heart feeling. He really don't understand why.

They have been in relationship for two years since their middle school so why. Mavis that he knew always understand him but doesn't she know that his loves for her is higher than Everest Mountain?

The sound of thunder rolling made he look out of the window and see rain gets heavy like the heaven sympathy with him.

He remember their meeting last week. They were so happy enjoy their date. So he can't understand just why Mavis suddenly ask to break with him. Just only he keeps flirting with other girl? For their two years relationship he always flirting with other girl.

He really didn't understand just why? He want to ask but seeing that Mavis has leave made he stop his track. Maybe he should leave Mavis alone for now. And he will think how to persuade her so they don't break.

Somehow he got a feeling that he will lose Mavis but he just shake the feeling. He knew Mavis feelings. But will they go back together if he didn't do it today?

He regret it when he choose to leave Mavis for a while before he began to pursuit about their relationship.

Mavis sighed when see the weather has gone bad. When she ask Zack to meet her at their classroom it just drizzle. She try to stop her tearing eyes but it still pour. Maybe the heaven understand their heart.

She knows that Zack always love her. That's why she kept enduring everyone that kept bullied her. She just someone who don't have powerful family.

Student of this school was born from rich and powerful while her just riding with her uncle family. Her family were rich but not as rich as other.

When his uncle tell that they will move to other country to start their own business that was when she thought she maybe don't get to meet he again.

Mavis came home with her clothes full drenched with rain. Seeing that the living room was occupied with many box that have been sealed made her heart ache again.

"Mavis, why are you drenched like this. Didn't you bring umbrella with you?" ask her aunt.

"Nash fetch the towel for your sister," Rina ask her youngest son. Seeing Mavis keep her head down made Rina wonder what's wrong with her.

Mavis hug Rina tightly and cry loudly.

"What's wrong honey?" Rina hug Mavis and pat her back lightly. Not getting answer from her made she turn to his husband that just come from kitchen holding the mug. Her husband just shake his head tell that he don't know.

Nash approached them and give the towel to his mother.

"It's nothing aunt. I just miss mom and dad," Mavis said try change the topic. Her respond makes the other three look at her.

"Come on sis, if your mom and dad gone, you still have us, I always be your younger brother, and we always be your family and always be by your side," Nash said and hug Mavis and Rina. His sentence made Rina and Kyle chuckled.

"That's right honey. You will always be our daughter," Kyle said and give big hug to them after he put his mug on the table.

"Thanks, guys," Mavis smiled. She really grateful when she lost her parent her uncle and aunt adopted her and treat her like their own daughter. She will remember their kindness.

The sound of door crashed made by Zack startled Armin.

"Zack, you are.. back." Armin didn't continued when he saw the mop drenched Zack went upstairs. He just stare the trail of water that Zack left.

'What the heck? His sweet younger brother just not reply him but ignored him.' He thought and quickly followed Zack.

"Aunt Mira can you help clean the water." He asked their maid before followed Zack upstairs.

Armin knocked Zack's bedroom. When he didn't hear any sound he tried urn the knob and relief when the door doesn't locked. He push slowly and see Zack just lie on the bed still wearing the soaked clothes. He walk and sit on the bed.

Zack turned his back on Armin when he know Armin beside him.

"It's really rare you know to see you like this." Armin began speak when he sees Zack still silent.

"Is something wrong? Or are you guys fighting?" he asked. He know that Zack is in relationship with someone in the school. And Zack always tell him about his girlfriend.

"She wants to break up," Zack said slowly.

"Did you ask her why?"

Armin keep waiting for Zack to answer but he keep quiet. He sighed. 'Love always unpredictable,' he thought.

'Maybe that's right when they say that woman will affect the man' he keep his thoughts. He chuckled when he realized that he was single and never date any woman before. Seeing his brother different attitude somehow worried him.

Usually his sweet brother always talk like there will be no tomorrow. But now he just tell him this.

"Go wash and changed your clothes. I don't want you to have cold. Meet her tomorrow and ask her okay?" Armin said and before he left he put the towel and clean clothes on the nightstand.

That night Zack keep call for Mavis phone but didn't connect.

"Please pick up please. Mavis.." he redial for number of time but the call still didn't connect.

Maybe he should visit Mavis home.
