123 7.12 Keep it to yourself

Lucas rolled down his window. When the guardian recognized his face, he opened the gate. Since Cillian isn't having dinner with everyone, he brought food, so they can eat together.

Lucas was about to drive toward Cillian's house when a car came out that way. He could tell it was Cillian's. He parked next to it in front of the main house.

When Lucas came out of his car, he was surprised to see that Espen was the one who had been driving. Cillian came out from the passenger's side.

Espen smiled at Lucas.

"Hey. Adlai didn't tell me you were coming for dinner."

"I didn't tell Adlai. And I'm done with him."

Espen looked at him, surprised. Seeing that Cillian was there, he decided they would talk about it later.

He said:

"I'll go tell the chef you'll be joining us for dinner."

Lucas nodded and Espen went in. Cillian looked at Lucas. He was leaning against his car with open arms.
