"Equinox!?" Anastasia came outside and found no one there. Where might she be gone? She thought to herself. She literally checked the whole university but Equinox was no where to be found.

She panickingly touched her soul necklace and tried to connect with Ezen.

"Please make it work! Atleast once."  She started to prey and thankfully her connection with Ezen's soul became successful.

Ezen, who was currently killing the ghosts who Lilith told him to assassin. Suddenly got a mind signal from Anastasia.

(IT'S AN EMERGENCY!!! I NEED YOU RIGHT NOW!!!)

Ezen took out the dagger from one of the old ghost's heart and threw his entire body into a pit of darkness so he could not run away.

He also signaled his demon companions to finish the rest of the ghosts by themselves.

He went away from the bloodshed and wiped the blood on his face. Ezen tried to calm himself so he could connect with Anastasia's soul easily.

(What do you want? I am currently very busy. I need to ruin many people's life so just say what you want to say fast.) He said calmly but Anastasia who was very nervous suddenly exploded when she got the message.

(Busy!?) She scoffed. (Here I am dying of a heart attack and you are busy!? Why can't you buy a phone? Do you know how hard it is for me to cast this spell to connect with you?)

Ezen tried to control his headache. This woman really has some serious anger issues. He thought to himself.

(Just tell me what the emergency is..)

(Umm...) Anastasia's voice suddenly became quiet. She didn't know how Ezen would react to this news. (Equinox is missing.)

(What!?) He became stunned. (How!?)

Anastasia kept blabbering nonstop. (It is not my fault... I just thought that she needs some fresh air. that's why I took her to my university.)

Ezen can't understand what goes through her mind. If he told Equinox not to go outside then there must be a reason behind it. Why would she still do that?

(Why would you do something like that!?)

(Because... Why not!?)

Ezen sighed. (Fine! Just calm down. I am coming there as soon as possible... Just try your best to track Equinox down.)

(Yeah..) Anastasia took a long breath and opened her eyes again making the connection break. She blinked for several times and noticed some passersby giving her worried looks.

She was standing in one place without moving for so much time that people started to think she was a statue who suddenly came back to life.

Anastasia gave those people an awkward smile and ran away from that place as soon as possible.

After huffing like crazy, she sat on the bench and started to check her belongings to find out if anyone has stolen them or not when she was a statue.

Thank goodness no thiefs were roaming around the area at that time. From now, she decided to be extra careful while using spells in public.

She glanced at her phone and suddenly remembered about the GPS tractor which was inside the phone she gave to Equinox. She quickly opened the app and tried to locate Equinox's location.

While she was doing the digging up on her phone. She didn't noticed that someone was watching her from the top of the restaurant.

A waiter came with a tray full of red wine and handed one glass to a mysterious man who was staring at Anastasia continuosly while talking on the phone.

"Larissa you asked if I found my target yet and let me tell you, she is right in front of my eyes."

Larissa chuckled. "Ohh really? Then how is she?"

The man looked up and down at Anastasia while smirking. "She is... Fine." He leaned on his seat while twirling his wine. "I mean, what did you expected her to be like? The Dalton family genes are really strong. All the ladies of that family has exquisite beauty."

Larissa: "Julian stop lusting for the new girl and start the mission. Don't forget that the girl is Lilith's new vessel."

Julian: "So what!? If I want to have my ways with her then I can... Afterall, I get all the women I want. I don't give a damn about who they belongs to."

Larissa: "Yeah. Yeah. Just make sure your newly found lust won't get us in trouble." 

Julian rolled his eyes. "Yeah, whatever." He kept his phone away from him so he could not hear his sister's nonstop ranting.

Larissa: "Do whatever you want but make sure you don't get in contact with her blood. Alright? We have been running away from our deaths for thousands of years. Who knows what will happen in the future!" She started to feel like no one was listening to her on the other side. "Hello!? Julian are you listening to me or not!?"

Julian got annoyed with Larissa's voice that's why he lied about not having any signal on his phone. "Sister I can't hear you. So talk to you later. Alright? Bye."

He sighed with relief when the phone ended.

Larissa became annoyed. "This bastard!"

Julian who was very excited to meet Anastasia suddenly grabbed a black voodoo locket from his hand and smirked while chanting something.

"It's nice to meet you again  Miss Anastasia Dalton Reynolds." He bitted his lips. "Sorry. It's De Rossi now. I completely forgot."

Saying that he suddenly teleported himself to the place where Anastasia was.

Anastasia tracked down Equinox's location and noticed that she was currently heading towards the bridge which was very far away.

Anastasia became very confused. "Why is she going there?" She stood up from the bench and was going to head out to that place but abruptly her phone started to ring.

She checked her phone's caller id and saw that the call was coming from her old phone.  That means it might be Equinox. She felt her breath again.

She quickly received the call and started to blabber nonstop. "Where are you? I have been trying to find you all over the campus but you were not here..." She sighed. "Don't stay silent equ..." Before she could call her name. The person on the other side spoke up.

"Anastasia!?" Victor said while being confused. "This phone was yours?"

Anastasia became stunned when she recognized his voice. "Huh!? Umm... I mean yeah.. this is my phone."

Victor: "Ohh, so the person I saw in the museum was you? Right?" He couldn't believe it. "You looked quite different that last time. You dyed your hair."

Anastasia shook her head. "No, it was not me. It was my friend Equi..." She sighed. "Anyway, uncle victor where did you found this phone?"

Victor: "Someone dropped it in the museum. That's why I picked it... Why? What happened? Who was that girl?"

Anastasia was thinking if she should tell him or not. But Victor caught it right away. "She is missing. Right?"

Anastasia became shocked. "How did you know? Did you read my mind?"

"No, i didn't... I am really good at knowing about what people are hiding." He lied. To be honest, he really did read her mind.

Anastasia looked down. "Well, you are right. My friend is lost. I found out about her location but it will take alot of time to reach where she is." She could have just teleported over there but the mind talk she did with Ezen made half of her energy loose. Her powers are slowly becoming dull these days. That's why it will take 10 minutes to revive it again. But Anastasia was scared of some other thing.

What if something happened to Equinox that time? Half of the demons are trying to find her. So what if they did caught her? She will always feel guilty for it if that happened.

Victor: "If you want then I can go and find her."

Anastasia started to feel hope again. "Really? Can you do that? Please do."

Victor: "Yeah I will... And don't use your powers for some hours. If you did then it will affect your health."

Anastasia: "I'll keep that in my mind." She looked down and thought about something. "But wait! How are you going to find my friend without seeing her face?"

"Don't worry about it. I can still feel her aura." Victor really wanted to know who that girl was. Because her aura smelled so familiar that he could even sense her presence from miles away.... This thing only happens when the person they met has an old link with them. And if that's true then he would like to meet the person from his past.

Victor hung up the call without any explanation. Leaving Anastasia more confused. "Well, he was more hurried about finding Equinox more than me.... Interesting."

She slowly started to walk towards a cab so she can reach to Equinox quickly. But when she was entering inside the cab, someone came in front of her making her unable to go.

"Excuse me." She tried to move past the person but he was not letting her go only... This thing made her even angrier. "Mister what is your problem!? What do you want from me!?"

Julian smirked while looking at her. "I want you."

Anastasia raised her eyebrows. "Huh!?"

"I am just kidding." Julian chuckled. "I was looking at you for sometimes and I noticed that you are stressed out about something. That's why I thought maybe I can help you. Are you going somewhere? If you don't mind then I can give you a ride." He took out his keys while showing off his new Lamborghini.

Anastasia was disgusted by seeing that. She really hates people who thinks they can get any girl by just showing off their wealth. She was really angry but still, she tried to control it. "I am not interested. But thanks for offering." Saying that she tried to move past him again but the guy stopped her again.

Julian started to become annoyed. Seeing a woman rejecting his offer this rudely. His ego was deeply hurt. "You are slowly getting on my nerve!"

Anastasia smirked and turned to him. "Do I look like I care!?"

Julian greeted his teeth. "Then you better start caring! If it is in my hand then I will kill you right now." He came closer to her in means to intimidate her but in return, Anastasia found his tactics funny.

She bursted out laughing in front of him. "Oh my god. I am so scared." She wiped her tears because of laughing too much. "Your ego is more fragile than a glass... Did you really just threatened me just now?"

Julian: "Yes I did. What are you going to do about it?"

Anastasia smiled. "I am not going to do anything to you. Because I know you are not even worth my time. Why should I waste my precious time on people like you? So just.. do as I say. Get out of my sight. Okay?" After rolling her eyes. Anastasia tried to walk past him but then suddenly her mind went blank and her body became out of control.

Julian smirked while fisting his hand and stopping Anastasia's magic from flowing. "Did you really thought I am going to let you go this easily?" He slowly made Anastasia turn towards him with his power. "Now do as I say! Understand?"

Anastasia nodded while being under his control.

Julian: "Fine. Now go and sit inside the car quietly."

Anastasia started to do as he said but Julien's mind stopped working when he saw her soul necklace glowing.

He touched his head with frustration and mumbled under his breath. "Out of all the people in the world she is supposed to bound her soul with him! How did that bastard came out of that forest anyway!?"

Julian's powers started to go weak as he felt Ezen's presence. He glanced at Anastasia one last time and then disappeared. He will come back to take her again later. But first, he needs to think about his own life. If he would have not ran away then Ezen would have sucked his remaining power like he did before.

Even after Julian disappeared. Anastasia was still in her hypnotized state. When Ezen saw her like that, he thought that she was mad at him that's why he sighed.

Ezen: "See, I know I am late. But if you want, then scold me later. But first, let's find Equinox. Okay?" He tried to drag her with him but didn't even moved. "Come let's go. What happened?"

He went closer to her and noticed her eye flickering. That's when he realized that she was hypnotized.

He looked into her eye and snapped his finger to get her back into reality and thankfully she did came out.

Anastasia started to breathe heavily. "What the hell happened!?"

Ezen: "That's what I want to know."

Anastasia: "There was an asshole who tried to call me inside his car. But when I rejected him, he hypnotized me."

Ezen: "This whole world is filled with assholes.  Who do you think it is?"

Anastasia: "I don't know. Maybe some kind of demon... I felt like he had a black aura around him."

Ezen: "If he looked like a douchebag then he was a demon for sure.... He wanted you to go with him. which means he gotta be from some cult. You don't know my mother, she has many weird followers all around the world. She might have done something."

Anastasia: "I think that too."

Ezen: "This is the reason why I told you and Equinox to not go outside for few days but when did anyone ever listens to me?"

Anastasia pouted. "I know I did wrong. So stop taunting me about it." She looked down. "And by the way, I found Equinox's location."

Ezen: "Where is she?

Anastasia: "On the tower bridge."

Ezen raised his eyebrows. "What is she doing there?"

Anastasia: "I don't know. But I feel like something might have happened. Equinox won't go there without any reason."

Ezen nodded. "Right. So let's just go there fast. What if she got into a trouble?"

"Yeah let's go." They teleported themselves at the tower bridge location to find Equinox.
