RECORD OF THE GRIM REAPER

The mysteries of the Grim Reaper life before he wandered around the universe guiding souls. As Chàros woke from a dream he realised that the world is full of mysteries as he barely had any memories of his past. Note from author: I'm just writing what I want and wasn't good at it, I'm not good at summarising as well but this is a story that has been bugging me so I'll be writing this in my free time so feel free to read or extract a story from it. It might bring some trouble in understanding the story. But like any other story it will be explained over time.

PART 1

I don't exactly know where they are but I have to move out regardless.

"I hope I'm on time." I muttered

Despite the fact that I'm hearing they're fighting while shaking the world. I'm kinda confused why everything looks unscathed.

"Restoration Magic?"

When the wind blade slices the mansion horizontally I tried to use my restoration Magic but it doesn't work. However someone activated the skill and restored everything.

*Dhung*

"..."

Did the world just disappear and reappear? Although it was for a split moment not even for a millisecond, the world really did disappear and reappear.

I arrived at the destination but I can't seem to find them.

"..."

"Who's there!?" I sense someone behind me. Something not human.

This presence... A shapeshifter?

"Chill I'm not gonna hurt you." He said and paused. "He can get me back from where I am." He muttered to himself.

"What's going on here?" I asked as I turned. I instantly noticed the ominous presence getting more intense.

"..." He was smiling creepily as he stared at the ground.

"Goodbye. I can't be wasting time here." I said and left.

"That's some crazy speed. Looks like I'm gonna have to take a bite of your flesh." He suddenly appeared behind me.

*Whack*

*Dhung*

I spun and kicked him which sent him flying through houses.

For some reason the houses were all empty too. Not a single human in sight.

They might all be devoured but seeing the condition of the town it appears no one is in risk of death.

"What's going on?" I muttered to myself.

"I need more power... I need MORE POWER!!" The shapeshifter charged at me.

I instantly rushed and appeared before his face and appeared behind him again and grabbed both his hands on his back and held him down on the ground.

"Why? You're already plenty strong enough." I said even though I could feel his power dissipate slowly.

There might be an explanation on why he's like this but for now I have no idea.

"I can't move! What did you do?" He asked.

"Answer me first. What happened here?" I asked as I tightened my grip on his arm.

"Gah!" He felt the pain.

"I—"

What was that? He just disappears and reappears right in front of me. Not just him but everything else.

"I tried to take over the world but something else  interrupted my fights. They were... strong... So strong that I was not even worthy of staying in their sight. They brought back everyone who died but had the same intention as mine. Also that guy named Adriel. I thought he was weak but he was just holding back. Even though I have the power to destroy the planet in a single attack I'm not a match for them." He sounds depressed.

A monster that usually has no soul is starting to develop one.

Even if I release him I'm sure he won't try anything funny.

"Where are they?" I asked releasing him.

"Fighting in the spatium above." He didn't bother getting up.

If he's telling the truth then the reason why the world keeps on disappearing and reappearing is because each time their attack collides the whole spatium is collapsing but someone instantly reverses the effect of their damage.

About his condition, it's because the sudden revival of these people is forcing his body to give up it's power that he has taken from his victims.

"I see. Thanks for the information. And about why you couldn't move, it's because someone wants this appearance back and since everyone you've killed and absorb is coming back I think you don't have much time left. You'll slowly rot away before they wake up." I walked away without saying a word.

I turned back at the door and saw that the holes had been fixed.

"Interesting." I muttered as I opened the door.

Whoever Adriel is fighting with must have some kind of ability to restore objects to how they were. If Adriel is keeping up with someone who could literally pull back everyone then he can do this alone.

Not that I could help him either way.

However he shouldn't have that much power.

"..."

My vision just turns normal as the world just disappears again for a split moment.

"Looks like my vision's back to normal." I muttered and looked at the huge mountain outside the town.

"Jednota?" I saw some kind of a spiritual energy flying above in the spatium realm.

It appears someone up there is lending their power to those that are battling outside.

Since Adriel isn't capable of such power to be battling against someone who can recreate the whole world like it doesn't cost them anything. Deducing who they are lending their power to is a breeze.
