1 Chapter 001: Revenge

In a huge room with rows of seats that circled around the venue, Zeus, the strongest among the Gods of Greek mythology, climbed onto the stage in the center of the room. "I imagine you're anxious..."

Familiar faces of Gods who fought a thousand years ago could be seen on special seats.

"I've waited so long for this!!"

Loki said as he squirmed and placed his hands on his face.

  "Yes... it's about time."

Thor, with his long red hair and huge hammer, nodded.

Old Zeus said to the gods present with a more serious tone than usual. And then he went on. "The wait is finally over!"

"After a thousand years, we will have our revenge against humanity!"

He slammed a hammer down on the counter in front of him as he said it, then an enormous pressure could be felt and it was coming straight from the stands. Zeus showed a surprised look, for even he didn't expect such a thirst for fighting to be suppressed in that room.

A smile came after the surprise, for that was what he wanted. The result had to be different this time and this aura of death that emanated from each of the Gods, from the weakest to the strongest, was essential for that to happen.

  "Are you ready..."

The sounds of feet being constantly tapped against the floor echoed through the room, and with every second, they grew louder. They were the feet of those immortal beings who had waited a thousand years to hear the next sentence.

  "Are you ready for Ragnarok?"

  ...

Quick steps were taken by a black haired woman, she was apparently nervous and focused as she paced back and forth. She was the valkyrie Brunhilde.

She was not alone in the room, all her sisters were also present.

Goll saw his sister with a worried expression and decided to ask.

"S-sister, you were already prepared for this right?"

Brunhilde stopped suddenly, startling her sister.

"Yes, don't worry... It's just that I no longer remember the tension that this moment brought."

"Damn Zeus, I thought after the defeat a thousand years ago he would give up on this idea of extinguishing humanity."

"And what the fuck new rule is this? Neither side can repeat fighters?"

Reginleif, the seventh Valkyrie sister, approached and said in a calm tone: "That is impossible, the events of Ragnarok have been etched in history and not even the weakest of the Gods have forgotten."

"Losing to humanity was a huge humiliation, I'm afraid they will be even stronger this time."

Goll, who was already shaking, dropped to his knees on the floor. "It's impossible, we had so much trouble finding 13 fighters last time..."

"And yet, we had so many difficulties..."

  "Huhhhh..."

Brunhilde started to grunt and laugh as she leaned against the living room wall.

"Sister, you're wrong if you think those 13 fighters were unique among mankind..."

Goll looked at his sister with a surprised look.

"Zeus also thinks like you, so he doesn't let me choose Sasaki Kojiro, Qin Shi Huang or even Buddha."

Brunhilde took a paper and a pen and opened the living room door.

"This time, we're going to finish them off for good."

...

7 days have passed...

"Why are you taking so long?"

"Hey, don't tell me humanity ran away!"

  "Is it missing fighters? Hahaha"

"They probably used up all their strength on Ragnarok and now they're out of options!"

"It's really a shame that humanity doesn't have as many amazing figures as the Gods."

The audience of the Gods, impatient, began to hunch about the delay in the announcement of the human fighters. While the Gods had already chosen their 13 representatives, Brunhilde and her sisters still didn't show up.

"How about begging the Gods for mercy? Isn't that what you always do? Hahaha"

At that moment, two men, one with gray hair and the other with black hair, spoke sarcastically.

"Hey... Why are there so many idiots on that side?"

"I wonder, haven't the Gods learned their lesson yet?"

"I was here at that moment... Seeing the arrogant faces of the Gods accepting the fact that they were surpassed by their own creations was amazing, I think that was really heaven."

The two men were Sasaki Kojiro and Musashi Miyamoto.

Alongside them, his many followers began to mock the Gods in the audience.

A vein appeared on the forehead of the God who once spoke. "Who do you think you are to talk like that?! Can't you see that you are in the presence of a God?"

Musashi and Sasaki stopped laughing as soon as they heard the phrase. "Huh?!"

The God swallowed hard as he stared at the serious faces of the two in front of him. He finally shut up after that.

  "Hey, look!"

Someone pointed to the entrance to the arena, a small figure was presented. It was Heimdall!

A small uproar broke out in both audiences, everyone was eager to hear the words Heimdall would utter.

"I apologize for the delay! This time, the wait is finally over!"

"The time to reopen the curtains on Ragnarok has arrived!!!"

  "Are you ready?!!!!!"

Anyway, all Ragnarok participants had already been chosen.

The audience screamed in unison, causing everyone there to tremble with excitement!

"I assume you already know the rules, but in case anyone doesn't, here's a little summary!"

  "13 Fighters of Humanity!"

  "Against 13 God Fighters!"

"Victory will be decided after the opponent's total annihilation!"

Brunhilde was present in the audience, in a special place similar to a box.

"Starting at the vanguard of the Gods!"

A shadowy figure appeared in the entrance, next to her, a heavy current of air invaded every seat in the bleachers. God or human, without exception, everyone who sat watching felt the chills.

"Burned out of heaven for wishing to be above all, he defied the Gods and started a war that lasted millennia!"

Brunhilde widened her eyes and looked at the cabin Zeus was in, "Zeus, what are you thinking?!"

Like Brunhilde, Loki, Shiva and Thor also showed annoyance when they saw who was presenting for the fight.

  "Hehehe, I like that expression..."

Zeus flashed a huge smile as his lean body showed excitement.

"He was banished to hell, but surely you must have heard of his evil deeds!"

With slow steps, the figure continued to walk until everyone could see its appearance. At that moment, the Gods who were in the audience were terrified.

  "What?! Why is he here?!"

"Who let him come back here? Have you forgotten everything he caused us?"

"What the hell?! He's not even a God!"

"Wait… Isn't it okay if he's on our side? I mean, who's going to have to fight him isn't us!"

A discussion ensued, with differing opinions on the choice of the first representative of the Gods.

  bang!

A knocking sound echoed in the room, and it came directly from Zeus' cabin. Anyone looking at him could see that his deep eyes exuded a menacing aura.

The discussion quickly ended after that.

Zeus looked at Heimdall, without speaking a word, he ordered him to continue.

  "...Continuing!"

"With an appearance that belies his rotten ideals, he represents the beauty of paradise!"

  "LUUUUUUUUUCIFERRRRRR!!!"

Heimdall called out his name and pointed at the fighter.

He was a muscular man of average size, long white hair in a braid, a slightly pale face with similar tattoos below both eyes, and a chain that ran through his torso.

  "Hi how are you?"

A wry smile came after his first words.

  "H-hello."

Heimdall replied Lucifer, who greeted him kindly.

"Your challenger, the one who will fight the evil of the Gods!"

"The founder and first shogun of the Tokugawa Shogunate of Japan, because of his deeds, became known as Warlord!"

"He was the first in centuries to earn the title of shogun. He wiped out his enemies, brought the whole country to his will, and inaugurated a dynasty that ruled Japan for over 200 years!"

"With a signal to his subordinates, he signals that it is time to shed the blood of those who challenged them. The most decisive battle of all is finally about to begin!"

  "This man is..."

  "TOKUGAWAAAAAAAAA IEYASUUUUUU!!!!"

Soldiers of different ages began to scream, the excitement in their hearts was such that some even shed tears.

"My lord! Your time has finally come!",

  "Show these Gods your strength!"

Wearing yellow-colored armor, a middle-aged man with short black hair and a seemingly ordinary body performed in the arena. His size wasn't out of the ordinary either, whoever looked at him would think he's just a normal person wearing armor.

"Is this little guy going to fight Lucifer? Looks like humanity really is desperate!"

Heimdall was about to announce the start of the first round when Tokugawa raised his hand and asked to speak.

  "What's it?" Heimdall asked.

Tokugawa approached and spoke in his ear, immediately cold sweat broke out on Heimdall's forehead after listening.

"W-what are you talking about? I can't do this!"

Tokugawa touched the palms of his hands and raised them above his head, begging him to speak.

Heimdall, with no other option, decided to accept her request.

"C-okay, but I'm not responsible if you end up dying!"

Tokugawa thanked him with a smile and returned to his position.

"Attention! Sorry for the short delay!"

"Humanity, represented by the warrior Tokugawa Ieyasu, has made a rather surprising request!"

The gods present were surprised, as was the audience.

"They wish the choice of the first representative of the Gods to be changed!!"

Again, an uproar broke out in the area. Not even Zeus expected such an arrogant request.

  Lucifer was also looking surprised.

"What do you think you're saying?! Just get started!"

"Humanity has no right to demand anything!"

Heimdall already expected this kind of reaction, so he didn't want to accept Tokugawa's request.

Tokugawa approached Heimdall and took his gjallarhorn, bringing it to his mouth, he said:

  "Zeus, let me fight Priapus!!"

Heimdall looked in disbelief at that scene, he could see Tokugawa's death coming.

Zeus was quiet, his deep gaze showing no emotion. He looked directly at that human calling to him and a familiar feeling hit him.

  "This look..."

As he watched, a silhouette of Adam appeared next to Tokugawa.

"Huh Brunhilde, it seems you have good taste in choosing warriors."

  "H-hey, give me that!"

  "Guys, calm down please!"

As Heimdall tried to calm the stands, Zeus turned his back and walked out of his box. He walked slowly, with Hermes beside him.

  "Zeus-sama, where are you going?"

Hermes asked, but did not receive an answer.

He didn't need to, after all, Zeus' look said it all.

A look of excitement he hadn't seen in a thousand years, since the fight against Adam.

He followed Zeus into a waiting room, where loud music could be heard in the distance. Outside the door, a colored light that flashed along with the music was seen at the bottom.

Hermes knocked and waited for Priapus to open, but he did not.

  "Looks like he's..."

Before he could finish, Zeus opened the door.

It was a normal room, where two naked women were lying on the bed. A large, muscular man was also lying beside them and they were both covered in sweat.

Hermes turned off the music and soon after woke up the two women so they could leave.

Zeus, in turn, remained silent as he looked at Priapus who slept in front of him.

Suddenly, after a few seconds, Zeus slammed his foot down, causing the bed in front of him to be thrown up along with Priapus.

  "What happened? Who did this?"

Priapus woke with a start, his head was aching and his vision was blurred. Result of his last night.

  "Zeus-sama wants you to fight."

  "Huh, fight? Who?"

  "In Ragnarok."

A silence took over the place for a few seconds.

  "I don't want."

Hermes looked seriously at Priapus, "You don't understand, this is not a request."

Priapus could not see clearly, but he felt that an overwhelming presence had arisen.

Without disagreeing, he awkwardly got up and went to the bedroom bathroom. "Can you wait for me to shower?"

  ...

Heimdall had already given up on calming the audience and now awaited Zeus' response.

  "This is your fault."

He looked at Tokugawa, who scratched his never with an innocent smile.

At that moment, the entrance to the arena began to open up again. Heimdall got up quickly and positioned himself waiting for the entrance.

Lucifer looked at Zeus' cabin, he was clearly uncomfortable with the switch.

  "Because?"

he asked, waiting for Zeus to answer him from afar.

Zeus just lifted his finger and with one movement called him out of the arena. Lucifer nodded and left.

  "Heads up!!!"

  Heimdall yelled using his gjallarhorn.

"There has been a change, and the representative fighter of the Gods will no longer be Lucifer!"

He looked at the entrance to the arena and again spoke.

"Born out of the relationship between Aphrodite and Dionysus, he became known as the God of Fertility!"

"His power comes from his huge...weapon! The more excited, the stronger he will be!"

  "The Representative of the Gods..."

  "PRIAAAAAAAAAPOOOOOOO!!!!"

The man who was naked before, now wore a short outfit. Just colored shorts and sunglasses.

  "What's up!"

He winked at the audience, making even human women attracted to him.

A smile of excitement came over Tokugawa Ieyasu, now, he was prepared to bring the first victory to mankind.

"Let the first round of Ragnarok... begin!!"
