Who Says a Hokage Has to Stay in the Village?

When Hiruzen Sarutobi said this, everyone looked at him and Toki in astonishment.

"Tsunade-sama isn't in Konoha?"

Hiruzen Sarutobi sneered at Toki,

"Tsunade's votes are being manipulated by your Uchiha clan. She hasn't even shown her face once. If you want her to be Hokage, at least make her come forward, right?"

On the side, Danzo also sneered inwardly. He had searched all over Konoha and its surroundings for a month, but there was no trace of Tsunade. It wasn't until a report from Root came a couple of days ago that they found Tsunade's whereabouts in the Land of Hot Water. So, the Uchiha clan was just bluffing. "What does Tsunade's presence in the village have to do with electing a Hokage? Who says a Hokage can't leave the village?

Look at those faces on the Hokage Rock behind us. Qualified Hokages have always led from the front. The only one left who didn't is already off the stage.

The position of Hokage is a symbol of spirit above all else. Do you understand the Will of Fire? Tsunade has strength, she has prestige. Choosing her as Hokage doesn't mean she has to manage the village.

Leave professional matters to professionals. Having strength doesn't necessarily mean one can manage the village.

Uchiha Fugaku put on a puzzled expression, feeling utterly confused.

Danzo slammed the floor angrily,

"Nonsense! If that's what being Hokage means, who would want to be Hokage? The Hokage is for gaining control of Konoha, isn't it?"

Uchiha Tekka said resentfully,

"What? Power? Did you graduate from the academy? Do you understand the Will of Fire? Do you understand the flames that keep Konoha alive?"

The greater the ability, the greater the responsibility. If you become Hokage just for power, then bah!

We Uchiha have always wanted to be Hokage not for power, but out of duty! We Uchiha want to ensure Konoha's long-term stability and development by becoming Hokage!"

And now you tell me that you want to be Hokage for power? Heh, what rubbish."

Danzo erupted with intense chakra.

Uchiha Tekka smirked, unafraid, as he stared defiantly at Danzo. Even if he couldn't win, as a jonin, he wouldn't be intimidated by mere intimidation. Besides, he had the powerful Sharingan behind him. Does Danzo have a Mangekyo?

In Tekka's eyes, the Uchiha clan had returned to the era when Madara Uchiha ruled supreme.
