"It was Prosecutor Ji who asked Alistair Han and Addie to marry. I would have never thought they would use this event to force her into marriage." Abigail commented, "You'll have to be careful from now on, Nox. Since you've shown interest in Adrienne, Alistair Han might do something to get even with you." 

Lennox scoffed and led his mother away from the crowd, choosing to stay at the corner where they could have some private conversation. 

"It was him who offended me and Gavin first three years ago. Also, it's not like I snatched Addie away from him. Addie had already made it clear that she had no interest in Alistair. Besides, I won't let anyone dictate who I can or cannot be with." Lennox's voice was filled with determination as he defended his relationship with Adrienne. 

"If Alistair tries anything, he'll have to deal with me. I won't hand over Addie to a person like him." He added firmly, his gaze unwavering.
