As the night grew darker, Adrienne's thoughts turned to Lennox. He had been her rock throughout everything they had been through. She walked into the bedroom where he was sitting, lost in thought.

"Hey," she whispered, wrapping her arms around his shoulders from behind.

He turned to look at her, a tender smile lighting up his face. "Hey, yourself. How was your day, dear?"

Adrienne smiled and leaned in to give Lennox a gentle kiss on the cheek.

"It was wonderful," she replied, resting her head against his shoulder. "I spent the day with Valerie, Katherine, Stephanie, and Diana.

Lennox pulled Adrienne closer, his arms encircling her in a warm embrace. He was glad that Adrienne could finally move on and live her life to the fullest after Alistair's death.

"I'm glad you had such a great time," he murmured, kissing her forehead softly.
