Adrienne went to the hospital, knowing that the Jiang family was awaiting her return. They must be on edge, waiting to see whether they made an enemy of the Zhao family. However, Adrienne ended up in Lennox's room instead of seeing her mother. But Lennox wasn't the only one in for a surprise because she hadn't expected to see his mother with him.

Abigail Li looked at her curiously, wondering if Adrienne had mistakenly entered the wrong room. Adrienne was about to apologize when Lennox took the matter into his hands and broke the silence between them.

"Addie, dear. You are just in time. Come here and let me introduce you to my mother." He raised his left hand and gestured for Adrienne to come to him. "Come on, dear. Don't be afraid. I promise my mother won't bite."
