161 Ares Gu's Fate (1)

In Jinxiu Garden, Gavin arrived early after receiving the news of Adrienne's predicament. He wasn't surprised to see Lennox agitated because of it. Lennox had always been protective of Adrienne, so it was only natural for him to be concerned. As Gavin approached, he could see the worry etched on Lennox's face, a clear reflection of the deep bond they shared. 

"Everyone in the Jiang family is an idiot. Surprisingly, they were able to produce Hunter Nian and Adrienne Jiang. To use her own sister to push the Jiang family into further trouble was clever but also too vicious." Gavin paused as he thought of something: "What a pity." 

He then glanced at Lennox, who was not in a good mood. Adrienne had left before dawn, returning to the Gu mansion to tie up the loose ends. He would rather have Adrienne stay with him than for her to return to that wretched place.
