Reborn World

My name is Nageki Yorokobi. One day, I get transported into a white room along with the rest of the human race. A voice without a body begins reshaping Earth into a hellscape. This is the story of how the human race survives in this reborn world. Author's Note - I am a new author, so I may occasionally edit some of the old chapters to improve their quality. I'm in the middle of school stuff right now, so I may only upload 1-2 chapters every Sunday until I can work on this full time during the days off I get.

Me, Fighting Back

THANATOS SYSTEM ACTIVATED

ATTEMPTING MEMORY RESTORATION.....

Memories I don't even remember having come rushing back to me. My family. What happened to the earth. Aiko. I can't die here. I won't let myself off that easily.

THANATOS SYSTEM

LIMITER REMOVAL: ACTIVATED

FORCE UNLOCKING ABILITIES...

I outstretched my hand towards the spider and shouted words that came out of pure instinct.

"Fear Control: Phobos: Maximum Output!"

The spider changed direction mid-air and completely avoided me, retreating into a tree as it landed.

"It's.... scared?"

FEAR CONTROL: NULLIFIED

The spider came out of hiding, seeming twice as pissed as before. It let out a piercing shriek and charged towards me.

It was do or die. I needed to end this now. But how the hell do you kill a giant spider?!

More words came out of my mouth, without a single thought.

"Fear manifestation!"

Black energy began to form in my right hand. I slowly grew into the shape of a giant scythe that was twice as long as me, though it felt as light as a feather.

Okay, this might work. Wait, how the hell do you use a giant ass scythe!? "

The spider was getting closer. I had no choice but to swing and hope for the best it'll work. It had to.

I waited for it to get closer. So close you could feel it's rotten breath sting my nose.

"Now!!"

I swung the scythe with all my strength, and I could feel the blade ring as it cut the spider clean half. As it's severed corpse fell, I breathed a sigh of relief.

"I... did.... it."

Before I could properly celebrate, I abruptly felt like days of exhaustion had just caught up to me, and before I could even think anymore, I passed out.
