mission

"Sora!" Teuchi yelled as he run into the house, he came as soon as he heard what happened with Sora. Teuchi was 16 at the moment while Sora was only 12.

"what's up?" Sora asked as he walked downstairs with a cake in his hands, he calmly ate while looking at Teuchi who was stunned to see he was alright.

"you're illness?" Teuchi asked Sora calmly explained how Tsunade helped out, Teuchi nodded in relief. he left a week to get away with his girlfriend as he thought Sora was a goner.

"you to know about this illness," Sora said calmly, Teuchi nodded slightly before explaining what he knew about it.

Sora's parents were not from the hidden leaf no one knew where they came from. Sora's dad died shortly after coming to the village from the illness, and when Sora was around 4 his mother followed with that same illness. Teuchi had always noticed Sora's parents had sharp eyes, but Sora never showed similar capabilities.

"Hmm..." Sora said frowned slightly but didn't say anything. maybe his ability Superiority was a bloodline thing or something, if that was so then the Naruto world was scary. This world easily beat Dragon Ball, One Piece, and all of those other anime.

Sora and Teuchi spoke for some time before Teuchi left to return to his might-be future wife. Sora calmly watched him leaving, but he noticed someone heading towards his house,

"Mr. Sora, we apologized to tell you but someone attacked the auction house and stole the book. since your book was not bought, we will are unable to give you any money." a middle-aged man said softly, Sora frowned slightly as he looked at him

"so, what are you guys going to do after you messed up?" Sora asked with a slight frown

"... there nothing we can do." He said softly, Sora's eyebrows raised slightly, as he looked at him

"My book was in your hands since you lost it, it's your job to give me something of equal value," Sora said calmly, the middle-aged man nodded slightly

"the understand, but it could take some time to collect that money." He said softly, Sora sighed slightly

"then I will simply make sure anyone from the auction house never gets a chance to lay an eye on my books. good day." Sora said calmly as he closed the door, the middle-aged man frowned deeply before leaving to report this to his boss.

Meanwhile, Sora headed out and went to post a mission to the village. a person A-rank mission,

"you want only Kushina to do this?" The 3rd hokage asked in shock and slight speechlessness, to which Sora nodded with a smile

"you been spying in our training thing, this is simply a test for her," Sora said calmly, the 3rd sighed slightly before nodding. the only reason he would agree to this was that he believed Sora will not let Kushina get injured and that Kushina seemed to have befriended the 9 tail fox.

a few hours later, Sora stood at the gate as he watched Kushina heading out to do the mission Sora had posted. She was slightly annoyed as she looked at him, but she still ended up accepting the mission as she knew it was like a test.

"I better be getting an extra reward for this," Kushina said with a pout, Sora shrugged slightly

"of course, I will consider you as a best friend. to be so nice to do a mission for an only 100 Ryo," Sora said with a smile, Kushina jumped hearing how low the pay was

"Thats not even worth the hardship of this mission," Kushina said angrily, D million missions paid 10 times this, Sora just shrugged

"calm down, you drawing attention. I don't want people to think I speak to floating tomatoes that happen to have human form... I will teach you a new skill. elements punches and kicks, that is if you pass." Sora said with a smile,

"You know what... you almost died, I will not kick your ass," Kushina said calmly

"or you can't even if you wanted to..." Sora said in a low voice, veins popped on Kushina's forehead,

"What?" She asked coldly, Sora shook his head not knowing what she was talking about. With a snort Kushina set off, staying here will put her in a bad state of mind for the mission.

the Auction was not held within the hidden leaf, So she had to go to the village where the auction was held and try looking for a close. Although it will be hard to search for a book, Sora's book had a unique aura to them. within a Tranquil State, and within a limited rage she should be able to sense the aura of said book.

in the cover of the night, Kushina hearing dark blue clothing, with her hair covered was going through some papers within an auction house.

but she was unable to find any evidence to pin the action once as the people responsible for stealing the book. Suddenly the doors opened and a middle-aged man walked in, he frowned upon seeing Kushina. Kushina froze slightly, this guy's footsteps were quiet, clearly, he was not weak.

The middle-aged man cried out to back out before he rushed to block Kushina path to escape. Kushina thought for a moment before he punched this man. her fist was clean and simple, but it shot compressed air out which the middle-aged man quickly tried to dodge when he sensed, but how could Kushina punch was not so simple.

she had already read the way he moved and already guessed how he would most likely dodge. as soon as the middle-aged man dodged, he realized there was a second blast of compressed air heading toward him.

too late to dodge, he placed his hands in front of him to block. the air slammed into him, sending him stumbling backward. as he placed his hands down, he found to his shock Kushina was in front of him, too late to block, he was punched in the stomach, knocking him clean out.

Kushina's ears twitched slightly, she moved as he dodged a kunai thrown at her from behind. catching the Kunai with a spin, she cut it back at who thew it, stabbing him through the shoulder and pinning him into the wall.

"a perfect counter..." Kushina was happy seeing what she did, if only Sora said this. it was always so hard to perfectly counter Sora, but for this, she was cut off guard, managed to feel the changes in the air, and spin while catching the Kunai.

She only had a few words for this, and it was perfect. but she had no time to feel proud of herself as more guards rushed in, she quickly went on to easily handle all of them, before she tied them up and began a round of questioning.

but they were not speaking, Kushina frowned as she thought of what Sora would do at this moment. she ended up turning towards the 9 tails for help to scare them into speaking, but the 9 tails refused as this was her training, not it. but once Kushina offered to feed it some of Sora's cooking, it instantly agreed to help

red chakra speared from Kushina as it wrapped itself around all the guards. all of them were sweating madly at this chakra they were feeling, it was like nothing they have ever felt.

the middle-aged man who Kushina had known out but woke up was the first to quickly speak as Kushina had it force on him the most.

Kushina got a new lead, a man called Abel had been trying to have the auction ower give up the book to him for free. but the auction ower had refused, Kushina went on to look into this guy and quickly frowned when she found out he was elite jonin level. she neve fought anyone of such a high level... Sora of course didn't count.

but with his new lead, she went to go search for Abel. he was not located in the land of fire, where the hidden lead was, but in the land of lightning. there were many counties, but the land of lightning was considered one of the richest of all other lands, if not the richest.

it would take some days to head there, so she first made sure she knew everything she needed to know, got some rest, and headed off.

2 days later, she sat within a tree while looking at a mansion. she sensed Sora's book within this mansion, someone was of course reading it. but the guards around this place were tight. not even a fly could pass through without being noticed.

the mansion was on its own part of land away from a village, so if she made some noise, she would have about 2 minutes to run away before she is cornered. taking a deep breath, she searched for a weak point in their defense

Sora taught her well in seconds she found a ninja on top of the mansion. there were around 10, and with all 10 watching, there was no way something could pass through without their notice. although they were alert, not all 10 were looking out, only 4 at a time. while the others relaxed and rested or played games.

there was a moment of weakness whenever they switched. Kushina went on to wait for this moment, using the ability to walk on air, but she first had to make some space so she wouldn't be seen. she was able to head into the clouds, which were easier to walk on than air, and slowly waited for their next switch.

as soon as that moment came, she fell to the ground, while making 19 shadow clones. chains shot out from all clones, sealing the whole space-time within here. as she and her clans landed, they had already had a target, quickly knocking out all 20 targets.

most of the clones disappeared after they finished their task, but others remained to make sure the barrier around this place remained while she went to face their boss who was too caught up in reading that book to know what was going on.

as she stood within a corner of the room, looking down on Abel who was reading the book, she instantly jumped towards him as chains shot forward, to both attack and seal.

Abel sensing this instantly closed the book and flashed, dodging the chains, and quickly noticed what happened. he frowned deeply as he put the book away in a safe place before she attack Kushina.

Lightning-like armor covered his fist, Abel was a dark skin ninja. as a ninja from Kumogakure, he was a master in lightning release

Kumogakure meaning Village Hidden by Clouds, is the hidden village of the Land of Lightning and was founded by the First Raikage. As the village of one of the Five Great Shinobi Countries, Kumogakure has a Kage as its leader known as the Raikage. The village is located in a range of tall mountains and is literally hidden in the clouds.

Kumo shinobi have a stronger physique than most ninjas, their longs were stronger, chakra stronger, and so on. the condition they grew up in was a bit hard, they lived in the clouds, and they pretty much bathed in lightning.

Kushina was of course stunned by Abel in coming fish, it was quick, and that lightning punch was no simple lightning, it both acted like armor while strengthening his attack power and speed. Abel even used the body flicker in his punch,

Kushina was sent shooting through the walls of the mansion as Abel ran after him. Kushina harms felt weak after clashing with him, from both the lightning and the power of Abel's attack.

Abel flashed as he ran threw the walls of the mansion appearing before Kushina.

"let's see what's behind that mask," Abel said coldly as he ripped off Kashina's mask, but was instantly stunned to see it was a kid. looking closely, he seemed to have remembered seeing Kushina somewhere.

after some thought, he realized this was the host of the 9 tail fox. his eyes widened slightly, to think the 9 tail fox will just want up to the village.

Kushina gritted her teeth as her leg kicked off the air, spinning her backward, her leg landed hard on Abel, chin lunching him upwards. Abel's eyes widened from this attack he didn't expect Kushina to be so skilled in wind release or whatever she used.

Kushina chains flashed and tried to wrap themselves around Abel, but Abel flashed appearing a few meters away from these chains

"such powerful chakra... we can use this chakra to in order to gain control of the Nine-Tails." He said softly as his eyes widened slightly,

Kushina was annoyed, this was too fast. but she calmed herself down and entered Tranquil State, she slowly felt the air around her, ready to move for anything that could happen.

suddenly she felt something behind her, Abel was aiming to knock her out with a cop to her neck. Kushina stepped to the side, as Abel's fingers stretched the back of his neck.

grabbing his arm, Kushina used the force from the cop to twitch Abel's arm. Abel Screamed in pain as Kushina was about to break his arm, cold sweat covered both of them, Kushina felt the blood flowing down her back, while Abel felt his arm would break if Kushina put a little more force.

"I defeated a jonin." Kushina's eyes were bright as she looked at Abel she pinned down under her foot while holding his left hand which was twisted to a scary degree

"damn you," Abel yell in rage as he went on to twist his own arm, stunning Kushina who didn't expect this. Abel jumped up, knocking Kushina off balance who had him pinned a moment ago.

Abel left fist came shooting towards him, but enough to kill but enough to jealously injure her. Kushina kicked the air to lunch her backward, crossing her arms in front of her,

Boom

She was sent shooting through the mansion and appeared outside, Kushina felt the huge pain running through her arms. she gritted her teeth as she was falling down to the ground, but Abel appeared in front of her with another punch

as she thought she was about to be defeated, her vision bleared as she found herself standing next to Sora.

"and you failed," Sora said with a smile, Kushina was stunned for a moment before pouting, how was she to fight an elite jonin, she was only 10 years old.

"I wasn't expecting you to get the book back, I find it extremely stupid you put your life on the line for a book. above everything more, your safety is what truly matters, not some stupid mission." Sora said as he rubbed her head slightly,

"than what was the point of this mission?" She asked with a pout

"so I find the person who stole it, did you expect me to find him," Sora said with a shrug, Kushina was instantly enraged

"but to also test your senses, you should know when you're outmatched and should run. what would be the point if you died today... I would have lost you." Sora said softly, Kushina froze as she looked at Sora. They both looked at each other, making Kushina blush slightly

"Where else would I find a worker willing to work for free, plus so talented," Sora said calmly, Kushina's blush instantly disappeared, she instantly snorted and turned to return to the hidden leaf

Sora was confused at why she was mad, but he had a book to get back. turning around, he noticed that Abel had already reported everything that happened here to the Raikage. the barrier clones disappeared after Kushina took that last lunch, Abel's lightning-caused numbing effect, which lead to Kashina closing control of her chakra leading to the clones disappearing.

Sora froward slightly as Abel jumped towards him with lightning armor. Sora copied this, and with a thought a blue armor formed from lightning covered him, but unlike Abel which had lightning shooking all over the place, Sora's armor seemed like real armor, down to the last detail.

"interesting," Sora said as he left his fist feeling his palm, Kushina was widened as she suddenly saw a fist imprint appear in Abel's chest. she never saw Sora throw a punch, only fisted his hand to look at his palm.

Abel didn't shoot backward or anything, the punch was so quick and forced he was still shooting forwards towards Sora with an attack. yet he was already died

"let's go," Sora said calmly to Kushina as the armor disappeared.
