Mia's soccer games

The next week was filled with excitement for Mia and Raven as they prepared for the upcoming soccer games.

Mia was the star player of the team, and Raven was her biggest supporter.

He would sit on the sidelines, cheering her on and shouting encouragement whenever she made a good play.

Currently, they were in the backyard of their parents' house, the warmth of the sun on their faces.

Mia donned her sport fit, while Raven opted for a more casual look with a white T-shirt and yellow shorts.

Raven was standing in front of the goal post while Mia bounced a ball with her feet.

"Eh, now shoot the ball at me, and I'll correct your mistake," Raven said

Mia nodded, and the ball fell to the ground with a soft thud.

Mia positioned herself on the ground, getting a feel for her surroundings before taking the shot.

She stared down at the goal post, envisioning the exact angle of the ball's trajectory.

The ball left her foot with a quick breath, and she watched as it flew towards Raven, the wind in her hair.

Raven had Vanessa analyse all of her moments and predicted the ball's movements and also had a clear understanding about the flaws of her shot.

With a quick reflex, Raven extended his arm, deflecting the ball away from the goal.

The ball bounced off his palm and rolled to Mia's side.

With a smile, Raven turned to face Mia.

"Hey, great power on the shot, Mia! Your form is looking excellent, but I noticed your follow-through was rushed. Try to focus on extending your leg fully and keeping your body balanced during the follow-through," Raven advised, offering constructive feedback.

Raven's input had Mia's full attention, and she appreciated every word.

She nodded, her mind already busy making mental notes of his suggestions.

The hours passed by until the sun began its descent and coloured the sky with hues of orange and pink.

Mia and Raven both stopped their practice, feeling sore.

They went to their separate rooms and took a warm shower before falling asleep.

The following day, they got cleaned up and had breakfast before their mother drove them to the soccer game.

Raven headed for the stands upon arrival while Mia caught up with her team.

The games finally started after an hour of waiting, and the crowd erupted into cheers.

The first game was a breeze, with Mia scoring three goals and the team winning by a landslide.

Raven was ecstatic after the game, hugging Mia tightly and telling her how proud he was of her.

The next game was against their biggest rival, a team that had beaten them in the past.

Mia was nervous, but Raven was by her side, reminding her of all the hard work she had put in and how much she deserved to win.

The game was intense, with both teams fighting hard for the win.

Mia had the ball and was making a run towards the goal when one of the opposing players tackled her from behind.

Mia fell to the ground, writhing in pain.

Raven rushed onto the field, pushing past the other players to get to Mia's side.

He could see the agony etched on her face as she clutched at her ankle.

Raven was filled with worry, but he knew he had to stay calm for Mia's sake.

He gently lifted her up, carrying her off the field as the crowd cheered.

When they got to the sideline, Raven sat down with Mia in his lap, cradling her injured ankle.

He pressed his lips to her forehead, murmuring words of comfort as the medics rushed over to examine Mia's injury.

Raven's heart was pounding as he watched the medics work on Mia's ankle, trying to assess the damage.

As they wrapped it in a bandage, Mia turned to look at Raven, her eyes filled with tears.

"I can't play," she whispered, her voice choked with emotion.

Raven cupped her face in his hands and looked into her eyes.

"You don't have to play. Your health comes first, Mia," he said firmly, his voice laced with concern.

Mia nodded, tears streaming down her face.

Raven wiped them away gently, his touch comforting.

The game continued without Mia, but Raven stayed by her side, making sure she was okay and offering her words of encouragement.

She watched as her team fought hard, but ultimately lost the game.

Raven could see the disappointment etched on Mia's face, but he knew that winning isn't everything.

He took her hand and squeezed it tightly, letting her know he was proud of her no matter what.

The next day, Raven surprised Mia with tickets to a professional soccer game.

They sat in the stands, cheering on their favourite team and enjoying each other's company.

Mia's ankle was still sore, but she was grateful for the chance to take a break from playing and just relax with Raven.

As the game ended and the crowd filed out of the stadium, Raven took Mia's hand and led her down to the field.

Mia's heart raced as they stepped onto the grass, feeling the soft blades under her feet.

Raven led her to the centre of the field, where he pulled out a soccer ball from his backpack.

He tossed it to Mia and grinned.

"Let's play," he said, his eyes sparkling with excitement.

Mia couldn't believe it.

They were playing on a professional soccer field, just the two of them.

She kicked the ball to Raven, and they started passing it back and forth, their movements fluid and graceful.

For a moment, they forgot about everything else and just focused on the game.

As the sun set, Raven kicked the ball towards Mia, who took it and dribbled towards the goal.

Raven let her fake him out and let her kick the ball past him, scoring the winning goal.

Raven smiled and clapped, proud of Mia's skills.

They walked off the field, exhausted but happy, their bodies glistening with sweat under the fading sun.

As they made their way back to Raven's car, Mia felt a sudden rush of desire.

The way Raven moved on the field had awakened something inside her she couldn't ignore.

She reached out and grabbed his hand, pulling him towards her.

Raven looked at her with surprise, but then a sly smile crept onto his face.

"Mia, what are you doing?" he asked, knowing full well what she wanted.

Mia didn't answer. Instead, she pressed her body against his, feeling the heat of his skin against hers.

Raven's hands roamed down her back, pulling her closer to him.

Their lips met in a fiery kiss, and Mia felt her body tremble with pleasure.

After a while, Raven couldn't take it anymore and parted from her grasp.

"Cough, Mia. Let's calm down."

Mia's mind slowly returned to the present as she heard his words, and she noticed their public display.

Her legs felt weak, and she had to rely on Raven's support to keep from collapsing.

Raven held her tightly and hailed a taxi to take them back to their place.

Mia smiled as she watched Raven's cautious movements, her mind already planning for his upcoming birthday in just two days to thank him for all he's done for the past couple of weeks.

While she was preoccupied with thoughts of his birthday, a taxi suddenly pulled up, and Raven motioned for her to get in as they headed back home.
