Mia’s sadness and Raven's anger

The day was filled with laughter and playful teasing as they flirted with no care for their phones buzzing non-stop.

It wasn't until the end of the day that Mia checked her phone and saw the many notifications from her chat groups.

As she read the comments from her close friends, her eyes turned red with a mix of anger and sadness.

"Damn, who would have thought she was such a slut that she didn't even let her brother go?"

Mia eyes scanned the name "Nora" and gritted her teeth, hoping that Raven doesn't see any of these hateful messages.

Raven, who was coming upstairs after finishing a drink, heard a small sob coming from Mia's room.

His heart skipped a beat as he stepped into Mia's room, feeling a tightness in his chest.

Raven entered the room, but Mia was so focused on her screen that she didn't even notice.

Raven approached Mia with a worried heart, taking careful steps towards her.

When he saw her face, he could see that she was distressed, and her eyes were filled with tears.

He placed a hand on her shoulder, and she jumped, meeting his gaze with surprise.

"Are you okay?" Raven asked softly, concern lacing his words.

Raven's unexpected appearance caused Mia's eyes to widen, and she swiftly wiped away her tears, trying to hide any signs of her emotional distress.

She didn't want him to see her in such a vulnerable state, especially after being subjected to those hurtful comments.

"It's nothing," Mia said, but the strain in her voice revealed the opposite.

"Just some stupid messages from my friends. They mean nothing."

Raven's frown deepened as he remained unconvinced by her response.

He moved closer and sat beside her on the bed, his warm hand finding hers.

"Come on, we're dating now. I won't judge or hate you like your friends," Raven said, taking her into his arms.

After a moment of sniffing and contemplation, Mia gave her agreement.

With a quick swipe of her finger, she unlocked her phone and opened the chat group that was filled with her friends.

The messages that Raven saw left him feeling devastated and heartbroken.

Someone even accused her of having an extramarital affair with Kevin.

Raven took her phone and continued to investigate.

Without uttering a single word, Mia lay down on his chest, closing her eyes as he did so.

After a brief search, he realised he needed Vanessa's help to map everything out.

[I have found that the primary culprits are Nora and Kevin, who spread the rumours around.]

Raven took a moment to sort out his ideas and glanced down at Mia, who remained in his embrace.

With a gentle touch, he stroked her hair and spoke in a soothing tone.

"I've seen them all. You don't have to worry. I've found the four people who did this."

Mia's eyes fluttered open and met Raven's.

The mist was still forming in her eyes as Raven leaned in to kiss her forehead.

"It was your three friends, Nora, Lora, and Alexa."

Raven then said, a hint of sarcasm in his voice and a smirk on his face.

"There was also that guy named Kevin who I shot the soccer ball at and broke his nose."

Mia's embrace was tight, and she held Raven close without uttering a word.

She remained silent for some time before admitting in a low voice, "They're not my friends."

Upon hearing this, Raven nodded in agreement.

Those people are not worthy of being friends with his sister.

Raven had a foolproof plan to solve the incident and punish the four students with expulsion.

"Don't worry about this anymore. I'll deal with it tomorrow."

Raven finished speaking, and his eyes had an icy glint.

His eyes softened as he looked down at Mia.

"You can hang out with me at lunch. How about it?"

Mia nodded vigorously, hearing Raven's words.

What's better than hanging out with your lover? Mia couldn't help but snort at the thought of her plastic friends.

Raven noticed she had finally calmed down, and was preparing to depart. However, Mia prevented him from getting up.

"Don't leave." Mia mumbled.

Raven planted a gentle kiss on her forehead before tucking them both under the blanket.

The two closed their eyes, and the room was filled with the soft sounds of their peaceful breathing.

The next morning, the sun beamed through the window, casting a warm glow on the two figures sleeping soundly in bed.

Breakfast was already made by their mother, who then went upstairs.

Raven and Mia were fast asleep in each other's arms, completely unaware of their mother's impending arrival.

As soon as she entered the room, their mother's face lit up at the sight of her children sleeping soundly in each other's arms.

However, she also noticed the sadness lingering in their expressions and wondered what had happened.

With a gentle touch, their mother woke them up, her warm smile greeting them.

"Good morning, my darlings. Is everything alright?"

As Raven and Mia woke up from their sleep, they rubbed the sleep from their eyes, trying to adjust to the light.

Mia felt a tinge of embarrassment as she looked at her mother, realising that she had caught them sleeping together for the second time.

"Yeah," Raven yawns. "Just some stuff happened last night."

Their mother nodded in understanding and let the matter drop, sensing he didn't want to talk about it.

"Well, I made breakfast, so go get washed up."

After delivering her message, she quickly exited the room.

As Mia rose from Raven's arms, she smoothed out the wrinkles in her clothes, keeping her eyes fixed on her mother's retreating figure.

Raven also got up and placed a gentle kiss on her cheek.

"I'll go back to my room." Raven said.

Mia waited until he left her room before getting changed.

A few minutes later, they both emerged from upstairs, the smell of fresh coffee and bacon wafting through the house.

Raven inhaled his meal while discussing a strategy with Vanessa.

He cleared his plate, raced up the stairs, and switched on his computer.

"Time to get working, Vanessa." Raven said.

Raven's fingers moved at lightning speed on the keyboard as soon as he finished speaking.
