175 Third Necthea Conference: Part 2

"Esmond seems to have a handle on matters."

"Indeed father.

To be honest, I never expected the Conference to be this thorough and informative." Daniel couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by the comprehensive information.

Both father and son couldn't believe Esmond was able to keep up with the conversation, especially when the topic pertained to Dark Matter Shielding.

Maximilianto and Daniel sat beside each other with their eyes glazed over as the scientists discussed different ways to make the Shielding System more efficient and reliable across all Starship Classes.

Jeskyl, a member of Daniel's personal team in the conference found himself struggling to explain the complexity of Dark Matter.

He'd learnt about many different theorems and practical equations in relation to Dark Matter, which sent his mind spiralling as he tried to understand the truth depth of the subject.

Maximilianto was about to ask Jeskyl for his opinion on the matter, but Daniel rushed to stop his father from angering the scientist.

"Father don't!

Jeskyl isn't someone that can be reasoned with in his current state.

When he is ready, the mad scientist will tell us what he knows.

We can always ask Carter or the Guardian Spirit Empyran." Daniel made sure to keep his eyes locked on Jeskyl like he was a rabid animal that could turn around any moment and attack.

"… Have you forgotten you're a Prince, Daniel?

Why are you afraid of Jeskyl?"

Daniel turned to face his father with a dry expression, "Because that mad man has found his Mecca.

This whole damn Hidden World is a Mecca for him and the other mad scientists who've now found their True Lord.

Do you honestly think they aren't counting down the days till they serve Esmond?!"

"…" Maximilianto couldn't refute his son.

Even when he looked over to Johilem, the Imperial Knight couldn't help but agree with the Crown Prince since the Emperors own team of scientists joined the Necthea Institute.

After Maximilianto went into retirement, the scientists resigned from the Imperial Labs and joined the Institute, so they could serve under the True Lord.

At the time, Maximilianto didn't think much of it and assumed his scientists went to aid the True Lord, however he finally understood they just wanted more freedom to work on their projects and fields of interest.

"*Sigh* Carter, come here my child." Maximilianto said only for Carter to move over from his seat within the Auditorium to the retired Emperor's side.

"Grandfather, you called?"

"Could you explain what they are discussing right now?

Your father and I can't seem to keep up with everything going." Maximilianto felt a little embarrassed to ask Carter for some help, but his grandson could only smile as he simplified the subject.

"Of course.

Right now, the topic of discussion is creating a Science Nexus.

In simple terms, the Science Nexus is an orbital laboratory with production capabilities.

The whole idea of the Science Nexus is to create a working area where its possible to perform turbulent and risky tests.

Most of the scientists are discussing the size of certain labs on the orbital station, with a few asking to create an organisation to manage the scientists who will be onboard the space station.

A few of the scientists, including the Dean of the Necthea Institute, believe the organisation should exist across the Space.

With plenty of scientists appearing per day, the Space needs to manage them on a broader scale.

By creating an organisation with ranks and specific benefits, it should help maintain order among their profession."

Carter continued on to talk about the various topics as they came up, which at times would draw his own opinion into the discussion.

Maximilianto, Daniel, and the others nearby who couldn't completely understand the topics being discussed, listened to Carter closely.

They felt amazed that the subjects being discussed were life changing matters.

Maximilianto, Daniel and their teams listened closely as Raqsa began discussing body implants and augmentations for the average citizen.

"The production of augments and implants for citizens can now be conducted after the latest tests showed it was possible for them to grow alongside the augmented individual.

From the nimble age of 5, children can receive their first implants to help with the development of their intelligence, concentration, endurance, and creativity because of the increased neural activity.

Alongside the implants, we've created synthetic blood that can help reduce blood clots and diseases through the hyperreactive blood cells.

Plus, the biosynthetic natural of the augments has made life easier to adapt with them, reducing the risk of body rejection.

This is the first step to push the species of the Ark to push forward in evolution to survive in the chaotic Galactic Society.

Esmond, may I ask your opinion on the matter?"

Very few people addressed Esmond directly, even if he asked them to.

The Auditorium was one of those places where titles didn't matter because the science came first but nonetheless it attracted enough political eyes.

Raqsa addressing Esmond directly caused many Ark politicians to raise the value of the Us'Theraei Clansman in their minds.

Esmond couldn't care for the small games because he wasn't ever going to sway in the support of any particular party.

The government parties existed to manage the governing bodies and agencies of the Spatial Ark Star World; however, this didn't stop people from seeking more benefits for their race.

Maximilianto and Daniel sensed the eyes on Raqsa, but the Great Warring Clansmen didn't fold and stood his ground, especially in front of his Lord and friend.

.

"The Buklish Body Coding and Organ Augmentation should help us further push our bodies into a greater state.

Did the research team check out the Buklish files?" Esmond asked a simple question, but he already sensed certain scientists were squirming in their chairs.

Raqsa wasn't part of the certain research team, but as the host of the conference, he understood they weren't prepared to answer for their own faults.

That was until a young lady addressed the members of the auditorium.

"H-Hi… Umm…

W-We didn't check the Buklish files because we worked off the information provided to us through the Reapers species." The young lady tried her best to move past her anxiety as it bloomed before the crowded auditorium.

"I see, and may I ask who you are exactly, miss?" Esmond asked.

"I-I'm Doctor Zilanra Qutrein of the Veveliaan Race.

I am Junior technician on the Civil Augment Research team."

"Thank you for introducing yourself Doctor Zilanra.

I hope you can go over the Buklish files before resubmitting your Civil Augments project.

Based on the information of your research so far, you've failed to see the smaller picture such as organ augments and coding.

Your civil augments seek to add another layer essentially atop the muscle and bones.

That is more than fine but we possess technology that is ahead of its time.

Why not use it?

The Buklish files will help your team create better augments and implants that can last a long time with minimal update tweaks.

I hope the Kaminoan scientists can assist in this matter since you've adapted the Buklish files in the creation of the Third-Generation Clones." Esmond turned to look over at the Kaminoan delegation within the Auditorium.

"I will personally assist Doctor Zilanra on the Civil Augments project, My Lord." A female Kaminoan scientist of the delegation said, before moving to a seat closer with her new Veveliaan colleague.

"I suggest you also contact Doctor Vlorte, the lead scientist of the research team devoted to the creation of Transhuman for the military." Esmond knew the Aephaelian scientist would greatly help advance the augment project.

He quickly turned his attention to Aswahi, the CEO of Theranos, whose eyes were burning with passion when she heard the subject of synthetic blood.

"Aswahi, it looks like you want the honour of releasing synthetic blood to the world.

I admire that fiery passion in your eyes, but I can't let you release the synthetic blood just yet.

Your research department at the Institute can focus on the synthetic blood project but I want it to be biosynthetic.

It'll connect better with the patients while also removing any dangers of poisoning." Esmond made sure Aswahi didn't get the chance to speak because he knew she would fight to gain everything she could for her researchers.

To his surprise and delight, Aswahi accepted Esmond's verdict and started working with her team of aides to pass the information onto her researchers.

.

The topic of discussion moved onto Wraithbone and its newfound properties by the scientists, leading Maximilianto and Daniel to once again faulter behind on the subject matter.

Thankfully they had Carter beside them, otherwise they would be left scratching their head.

"The Zadrisian Psychic users have helped us deal with the Wraithbone material to reform it into other shapes and forms.

So far, the team onboard the Craftworld Ze'Quasa has learnt how to connect with the Infinity Grid and 'rewire' the operational systems to include the Coded Spirit Stones.

Since we can't rely on the Aeldari race to produce the Spirit Stones, we've adapted the Magic Liquid Essence technology that can be used to print on tools, to instead utilise Spiritual Liquid Essence so the Coded Spirit Stones inhabit Virtual Profile Intelligences.

This means the Craftworld Starship now has sentient sources controlling the operations where the need of external input is minimal.

The Zadrisian craftsmen have worked with Ogryx and Wraithbone to help the integration of the Coded Spirit Stones.

So far, the Ship is quickly becoming the ideal place for the Zadrisian to refine and improve their Psychic abilities.

The Zadrisian scientists believe humanity and other races can also gain Psychic abilities through implants and organ augmentations.

If they are successful, the next generation Starships and soldiers will redefine space warfare by several generational lifetimes." Grogtan, a Xoplis scientist said.

He supported the Wraithbone research project because its capabilities were far reaching.

The Starships could utilise Psychic Shielding on a mass scale, saving the crewmen from instant death from most weapons of mass destruction.

Even traveling through deep space would become easier and safer with Psychic Shielding but ever since scientists announced Dark Matter Shielding, people wanted to know what the safer and cleaner option would be out of the two.

Some people suspected the two Shielding Systems might work hand in hand but that had yet to be seen or discovered so for now.

.

"Its good to hear the Craftworld is actually helpful.

Keep me updated, Grogtan.

Raqsa, has anyone taken advantage of the Elemental Dungeons?" Esmond understood Wraithbone wasn't so easily understood, so he was relieved to hear that the scientists made some progress without his specific interference.

At the same time, Esmond wanted to know about the Dungeons that were created across the Spatial Ark Star World.

Placed by Carter around the First and Second City, the Dungeon Parks allowed people to come and go safely.

Medieval-PD-01 Androids were stationed at the entrances of the Elemental Dungeons to keep the aesthetic alive with stone walls and towers around.

The Dungeon Parks were in walking distance from Dungeon Markets, which contained stores that sold medicinal potions to revive health and stamina boosts within the Elemental Dungeons.

Blacksmiths also sold their wares to those who wanted to challenge the creatures within the dungeons.

"Surprisingly we have had an increase in people tackling the Elemental Dungeons.

Largely its students from the First and Second City heading over to try their hand at gaining some abilities or treasures in the Elemental Dungeons.

The reports show the Adventurers gain access the 'Status Interface' once they enter the Elemental Dungeons.

Their physical and mental attributes are quantified and displayed for the individual to see.

Adventurers can gain abilities and skills as rewards for defeating creatures but not all of them can be accessed outside of the Elemental Dungeons.

Whereas the physical and mental attributes would keep their affect outside of the Elemental Dungeons, a reduced version of their abilities would work.

Blacksmiths prefer to enter Fire based Dungeons which helps them achieve skills and abilities related to their profession.

Alchemists would go hunting in Nature-based Dungeons to increase their skills regarding potion making and their potency.

The current culture of the 'Adventurer Lifestyle' has attracted the Ark Bank to involve themselves in the Dungeon Economy.

Creatures found within the Dungeons have sold for a decent price and largely bout by the Ark Bank which has positioned itself in Stovi and Astelan to establish Auction Houses and markets where the items sell several times over in value.

You'd be surprised by the amount of wealth Ark Bank has collected by now.

Cultivators have been particularly throwing their money away to buy the pure blood of Elemental Creatures and Beasts from the Dungeons.

Lately the creatures found in the Dungeons have taken on evolved and become stronger individuals.

Carter's team has responded this might be influenced by the quality of Spiritual Energy increasing, but that's only helped the Adventurers grow faster and sell their kills for a larger price." Raqsa enlightened Esmond with the success of the Dungeons.

It fuelled the Ark Bank to quickly become one of the wealthiest institutions on Earth, even though they were currently restricted to the Space and island nations of Septum Aecors.

They invested money across Earth over the last few months, but discreetly so no one knew about them until it was time.

Ark Bank was going to enter the United States and European Market in July, as it would hide their organisation from the eyes of the wealthy as the chaos intensified at the Global Markets.

"I'm glad to hear of its success.

Hopefully we can involve the schools somehow to take part in the Dungeon Parks.

Maybe a competitive league to help attract the attention of a broader audience?" Esmond gave some suggestions while others also added their thoughts.

Everything was recorded by the Virtual Profile Intelligences overseeing the conference so the information could be sent to the correct parties immediately while also maintaining its own files.

.

"Next subject for discussion is Arcology.

House Da Vinci and Celestial A.I Egos Rosie and Archie will be leading the conversation." Raqsa introduced the next subject before the auditorium lighting, video, and audio systems moved to the leaders take charge of the discussion.

"Hello everyone, I am Iltonio Da Vinci, an architect and eco-designer.

The building schematics I have just distributed are jointly created with Rosie and Archie to make skyscrapers with zero environmental effect on the land.

This is especially so in large cities with dense population, like New York, London, Sydney, and other locations around the world.

Three of the concept designs are being utilised in the real world, with the Aeternus Curatio, Primal Management, and Avictus Group creating skyscrapers in New York with zero pollution on the dense populous area.

As you can see, the buildings contain farms, gardens, and power systems to keep the place operating without the reliance of natural resources outside of its own structure.

The sewage waste can be recycled and filtered to work in the farms.

It can also be used for drinking after running through the purification system but out of safety for the inhabitants, we've decided to connect the Space with the buildings.

The three Arcology based skyscrapers will be the first of their kind when they are completed in New York City.

Each of the towers will reach up to 700 metres in height and contain around 120 or more floors."

"We've also communicated with the New York City Council to connect the three Arcology Skyscrapers with the city infrastructure.

Based on the figures we've provided to the Council; we can manage around two-thirds of the city's infrastructural dependencies." Archie sat as part of the Arcology Research team.

Rosie entered the conversation right after Archie, while seated in the Architect Research team.

"The Arcology Skyscrapers are designed to be naturally receptive of the elements.

This is clearly showed by the vertical axis wind turbine that is built towards the top end of the building.

Because the three skyscrapers will be positioned nearby one another, the wind from the vertical turbines will pass onto the other buildings.

Certain gaps in the building structure helps alleviate the wind pressure so it doesn't lead to structural integrity failure.

The skyscraper also contains offices, stores, malls, gyms, homes, and plenty more facilities, but as the three buildings are nearby one another, so we're hoping the surrounding land is purchased for our project to succeed."

Rosie looked over at Esmond as she finished discussing the Arcology Skyscrapers.

"… Eddie, make sure they have what they need.

But I also want enough land for the Astrum and Ark Bank to create their own building.

If you find something nearby the Financial District, the two financial institutions can make the most of the area."

"*Sigh* Understood brother." Eddie felt annoyed by the situation because it meant he need to spend money needlessly.

Instead, Eddie contacted Nedric and asked his help to convince the unruly owners to sell on the cheap since Esmond couldn't wait till September for the mass sale of assets.

Esmond had no clue that Eddie was using the Shadow Intelligence Agency to blackmail some of Americas most powerful men to give up their assets, unless they wanted to end up at the mercy of public opinion.

.

"Next topic up for discussion is the automated shipyard production machinery, also known as the Star Forge.

Currently the Orbital Megastructure is stationed above the Mainland and undergoing tests before its deployed full time." Raqsa surprised the Grand Army Fett Clone scientists who knew about the history of the Star Forge and its dangers.

Even the Kaminoan scientists were worried to hear about the Star Forge which went against the harmony of the universe.

Esmond sensed their worries and decided to speak up before any of them caused the others to fear the powerful artifact.

"To those few that have heard about the Star Forge and its dangerous elements, I can promise those worries are for nought as the Spatial Ark Star World has eliminated those corruptible forces.

Not only that, but the Star Forge has also been reprogrammed to adapt the Spiritual Energy as a fuel and natural energy source.

It also draws on Stellar Cores to provide itself with the necessary matter to create whatever's been programmed into the machinery." Esmond understood the worried members of the auditorium were concerned about the Dark Side and its corruptible nature.

Thankfully, Esmond was able to convince them that everything was swell, and that the machinery could be programmed immediately for production.

After returning from the God of War world on May the Fourth, Esmond found himself similarly in the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic world.

One of the rewards Esmond received happened to be Star Forge, which was Elite Grade.

Its Elite Grade meant the megastructure was larger in size compared to its original form, but that it also added an element of sentience to certain produced items.

"If possible… could we limit the production focus of the Star Forge towards the Fourth Fleet of the Altaesyxrian Imperium.

However, since the Fourth Fleet hasn't finalised its design construction, the Star Forge could work on increasing the number of Modular Autonomous Deep Space Construction Drones." David, a G.A.E Human scientist, asked Esmond, while also addressing the rest of the auditorium.

Soon the conversation delved deeper into the various items that could be produced by the Star Forge with it essentially being out of commission for now.

Esmond chose not to involve himself too much in the discussion because he wanted the people to make their own decisions.

Instead, he decided to leave the conference with his father, grandfather, and Carter as Reigo's drove them over to Cabin Manor.
