83 Necthea Institute Conference...

"This is absurd…" Esmond groaned while hearing what was happening from Echo in his mind.

"How many has he launched?"

'Dozens, Esmond' Echo replied to Esmond, letting him know about Carter's antics.

Being given a couple of tasks by Esmond, Carter immediately got to work, however his gusto on the projects was quite the unusual behaviour for Carter.

It didn't mean anything bad or concerning, rather Esmond was trying to understand how explosive would Carter's work be.

His current projects included starting the terraforming of Mars and Venus before the moons of Jupiter and Saturn were worked on.

Sending around a dozen or so rockets to various planets from Carters mapped outer space region, he'd been working to fool the space agencies and satellites around the planets so they wouldn't notice the changes happening within the solar system.

Carter planned to give them all of the correct information they would require however if they wanted image shots of Mars, he would have to send them generated shots made.

.

Esmond was delighted to know Carter was taking his words serious and getting to work, but since Esmond had arrived within his personal lab at the institute, more and more absurd actions were happening with Carters new manifestation of powers.

"You know it would have been better if you had someone else managing some of the larger projects…" Echo said while watching the monitors displaying the work happening within the space.

Carter currently was construction all sorts of megastructures throughout the space, increasing the manufacturing processes by a hundred-fold.

To help manage the factories, Carter used the programming designed to create Profiles of the droids and repurposed it for factories and manufacturing, with the Profiles managing the work and informing Carter to help reduce his need for oversight.

Esmond believed Carter had managed to create something new and exiting which would be beneficial as an overall to all aspects of the business and empire.

Only problem Esmond had was the Profiles wanted bodies like their counterparts who worked as part of the Armed Forces.

They were communicating with one another in the A.I World, with many playing within the world of Steller Wars, challenging the other Profiles.

No clue how many more Profiles were created, Esmond told Echo to start production of their droid bodies, so they wouldn't complain further.

.

While the Profiles were settled with, Esmond started to listen to the large group of scientists who'd prepared a conference for Esmond.

They were going to discuss all the current projects that were being studied with some progress but also any future development.

The scientists wanted to hear any kind of opinion from Esmond on their projects so in the auditorium section of the institute, team leaders had gathered who were heads of projects.

Esmond didn't know until a bit before, but the auditorium had a time dilation function, meaning when the entire room would be sealed from the outside, while offering those inside close to twice the extra time.

It required a large amount of power to keep the time dilation mechanism working, which could only be operated by Carter since his upgrade.

Fuelled by the power generated by Solis, the auditorium could last indefinitely, but there was no need since the current sum of projects weren't too out of control.

Some projects were already discussed in other groups with many team leaders to brainstorm ideas before passing the project along to be presented before Esmond.

There was a plan to have such meets once a week since there was a drastic increase in projects established within the Virtual Labs.

.

"Sam… please be more straight forward with your explanation.

Remember, while I am seated here, I am a scientist just like yourself who wishes to know the truths of the universe.

Now… please take a deep breath and continue…" Esmond calmly said to the Zadrisian scientist, Sam.

His currently field of expertise was armour and weapons for the armed forces of the empire, and so Sam was presenting the standard armour that'd been made for the clone army.

Taking reference from the designs of the Corinthian helmets of ancient Greece and incorporating it into the modern schematics of body armour, Sams group of scientists had left it a simple white, black and gold colour schematic.

The plan was to leave any custom designing up to the clones who would be given the freedom to make adjustments as they saw fit.

To promote individuality, Sam and other scientists had worked on creating a modular system with their weapons and armour, allowing for creativity, and promoting growth within the armed forces.

They'd taken inspiration from Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, having watched the film in their free time through the stream service operating within the space.

Esmond had thought about heading over into the film to see what his luck would give him, but he'd held off for the time being.

There were plans to head over into Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War and possibly acquire the Space Marines, but since there was already so much technology in their possession that taking on more might push what they already had aside.

.

"… What I was trying to say earlier was the CE-01 armour you designed, sir, will be the first form of armour sets that will be provided to the clones troops.

They'll have the Modular Assault rifles or MAR-01 rifles which will be powered through a unique wavelength communication beacon connected from the armour that would house back up Power Cells of plasma.

Using the technology of the proposed Energy Sphere, we've made some major changes to allow the power systems of the armour and weapons to interchange with other systems, like a vehicle with a similar system.

It just means the soldiers have various means to charge up." Sam explained before passing on the rest of the explanation to David, a G.A.E human scientist what was leading the projects based on energy.

Clearing his throat, David started speaking, "Thank you, Sam.

Now, my team has worked on the Pelican gunship from the UNSC database as well as the physical aircraft that you've brought to the space sir.

While we are working on reducing the overall size of the Energy Sphere as the main project of the department, the team has made great progress with the Instantaneous Energy Transport System.

We named it the Chariot System for its ability to carry and transport large sums of energy through space without mass.

We've used many of the exotic materials like Element Zero, Ogryx alloys, and Vibranium to name a few in creating the machine to the transport the power through lasers indiscernible to the naked eye."

David brought up that Rosie had come over to the Labs and helped with developing the system so it could work and be incorporated into the Tertius Fleet.

.

Finished with his explanation, David sat down.

He was waiting for Esmonds evaluation on his teams' project and work, nervously.

Sam, who was beside him, happened to be as nervous as David, but before their nerves could be eased, an eager Thazukraan spoke up.

"Is it my turn now?!" Nighmora roared allowed in the auditorium with his mentor, Tulluan, slamming his face into his hands in embarrassment.

The other Thazukraans present were flabbergasted that their new leader was such a brute, unlike the rest of the sophisticated race.

They all loved Nighmora for his straightforwardness but not in front of their damn leader.

"Nighmora, calm down…

I have yet to give my opinion on the project present just before…

If you are so eager, why don't you give me your opinion on their project…"

Esmond asked Nighmora, stunning the young adult Thazukraan, who felt an incredible pressure natural press down on his shoulders.

The thing was Nighmora was a genetically enhanced Thazukraan, augmented by his master and mentor, Tulluan.

Because the augments were done in a hope to create a Thazukraan capable for warfare, but also integrate into the Thazukraan society. Nighmora both was a failure and success.

The Thazukraan society was very loving of Nighmora, with everyone seeing him as the child of the society, he was also considered a failure when it came to intellectual contribution since his work was always focused the wrong things.

Tulluan hoped Nighmora could generate systems and products that would benefit warfare, but Nighmora preferred creating projects for the benefit of the people.

Hearing Esmond call him forth to explain his opinion on the military projects of Sam and David, the Thazukraans were screaming in their minds for an act of God to save them the disgrace that was about to follow.

None of them expected the act of God would be Nighmora flaring up…

.

"Mm… well, other than the modular components for the armour and weaponry, while not provide a similar design mechanism for the vehicles as well.

Since there are plenty of methods to improve one's skills within the Spatial Ark Star World with the infinite number of resources, why not give the clones the same flexible creativity with the vehicles as well.

Same could be done for bases and military outposts so they can adapt to the regions but also add something to make themselves feel comfortable."

Nighmora continued to state various programs that could be put into place to help the clones develop, both skills and ability wise but more importantly who they were as people.

The Thazukraans were absolutely astonished and quietly overjoyed by the golden heart of their Nighmora.

The concern he showed for the clone people was far more than what others considered them in their mind, but after listening to Nighmora explain the need for creativity, even quoting a famous Earth scientist.

"Imagination is more important than knowledge.

Knowledge is limited.

Imagination encircles the world." Quoted from the great mind of Albert Einstein, Nighmora tried to aim for the hearts of everyone present, knowing it was their imagination and love for science that led them so far.

.

"Very well… I'll agree with you Nighmora.

Sam, David, make sure to have taken in everything said by Nighmora.

To be fair, I have similar thoughts to him on the matter of your projects, but I wish for you to think of about the uses of the excess energy…

I believe it would be a good idea for you David to get in touch with the terraforming team.

Sam, make sure your team is supplied with the information we've received from the UNSC and Ecumene database.

Now… you may speak Nighmora." Sam and David both nodded quickly, thanking Esmond silently before grabbing onto the head gear and diving into the Labs.

Exceptions were made to allow certain people to dive into the Virtual World when others would take notes in their stead.

Since neither David or Sam were high ranking scientists within the department system and ranking that was created among scientists, they wanted to dive in and start work already.

.

"Since there is a functional artificial gravity system already created which, I've worked on to try and improve or affect the efficiency, I've designed a cylinder tubeworld that would be connected into a circular loop…"

Nighmora continued explaining with the help of the hologram monitors on each desk with a scientist seated.

"While I thought of a knot system originally for the space habitat station, it would require a star within the centre of the gigantic structure."

Displaying a loop system configured together by a torus knot with the sun in the middle.

The holotube would house the populous on three large islands separated by glass in equal space to allow the external light to enter.

Nighmora instead simplified the project that would have encompassed most of the Solar System into circular loop with eight junctions which would be equally spaced.

They would act as the space ports but also the point where the cylinder tubes would turn.

Tubes on either side of a Port Junction would turn counter clockwise to one another to help generate gravity to centrifugal force.

Nighmora explained the artificial gravity system would work in the background, only kicking in if it seemed like the centrifugal force generated wasn't enough.

He also utilised one of the projects of the Thazukraans to be incorporated.

.

"An artificial sun…?

How?"

Just as Esmond finished asking the question, Carter appeared beside him, since the time dilation of the institute wasn't something that could affect him, more so since he'd had an upgrade.
