158 Atlaesusian Syndicate

"How have you found the game so far?" Esmond question the Atlaesus Group after entering the Reception Hall.

More specifically, he entered the smaller and important room to the side for V.I.P guests.

While the NPCs mingled with one another in the open Reception Hall and go to learn about each other's traits, Esmond dealt with the Atlaesus Group members who all looked pleased with their time in Stellar Wars.

"… I-I don't know how you've done this, Little Cousin, but this is amazing!" Geneviève couldn't contain her gleaming smile as she thought back to her adventures within the last month in game.

She already had enough money within her hands to outfit her entire small mercenary organisation with a decent set of planetary side weaponry equipment but it she found to many issues with items.

Too many open ports were left for enemy infiltration into their combat suits which was similar to a full body armoured suit with a large reserve of ammunition.

Hacking enemy tech was a big problem within Stellar Wars because it was a practical problem that would occur once people figured it was easier to hack the technology of the enemy and cripple them before attacking to save themselves from harm.

Geneviève wanted to ask Esmond's opinion on the matter, but she didn't expect he already thought far ahead and planned for such a problem.

Esmond gathered everyone because he knew they could all help each other.

Kristoff for example could help with the coding and designing of certain equipment for Geneviève's mercenary organisation or provide Zaro with assistance set up the intelligence network.

Putting all the NPCs and certain Virtual Profile Intelligences together meant to create connections between each other and their small organisations.

Surprisingly the Virtual Profile Intelligences knew better than others what Esmond wanted to achieve and started to work on creating relationships.

.

Alania Temenid, a long distant cousin to Layla Raigon and House Macedon who took the name of their former homeland rather than the Royal House of Temenid which ruled the Kingdom.

Over time House Macedon grew to a size that it needed to create other Branch Houses or let members set up their own Houses with the blessing of the Emperor.

The first person to reclaim the name of House Temenid was also a former member of House Macedon and named Aleminus.

His Bloodline awoke to allow Aleminus to create a powerful noble House on the same level of authority and power as House Macedon.

Eventually House Argos was also established by a former female member of House Macedon however this never created bad blood between the three Houses.

Rather they all grew closer with one another, as several marriages were tied between the Houses through some of the members whose Bloodlines weren't awoken.

They could perform marriages between those whose Bloodlines had awoken but due to it being deviated from the same original legacy source of Bloodline, it was advised by the Emperor such marriages could harm the Bloodlines of future generations.

.

Alania was part of the Atlaesus Group and sent to improve the relationship of House Macedon, Temenid, and Argos with Esmond.

Layla already had the three Houses pinning for her from the second she entered the meeting between the Emperor and Heads of the noble Houses.

Somehow though, Alania found himself sitting beside Layla in the meeting with Esmond.

Before arriving at Esmond's Ark Ship, she was busy establishing her own Bio-Medical Research Institution to help her people achieve body implants and augmentations.

Esmond heard about her plans through the Virtual Profile Intelligence who worked beside her and created the space faring institute.

So far, they made a cranial implant to help boost intelligence and concentration but having the operation performed was expensive.

Seeing this as a prime opportunity to ask for some assistance, Alania asked Esmond for help.

"Esmond… if you don't mind, could I ask for your aid?"

"If you want my support acquiring medical equipment to ease the surgeries for the implants, then I'll tell you my answer now.

No.

However, that doesn't mean the others around you cannot help.

Louis, Felix, I believe this is a perfect moment for you two to explain what I'm trying to say." Esmond sat back in his personal chair while bringing up the HUD System to check out the real-time reports from the Reception Hall.

The two developers were already seated within the V.I.P room, utterly amazed by the progress of the Atlaesus Group members and the four girls.

They all had achieved their First-Class Change to evolve them into a more powerful player with stronger abilities and skills.

According to their original thoughts on the players progress, Louis and Felix never expected all of the Atlaesus Group members to be such hardcore and professional gamers.

.

The two developers of the game introduced themselves before thanking Esmond for making their vision a reality through the Virtual World, but he appeared disinterested in what they had to say as his eyes were scanning through the reports on the HUD System.

One of the sons of House Ka'Narmer, the original Royal family to unify Egypt under one King, asked Louis what Esmond was talking about after the developers finishing their ramblings.

"Ahh that's right.

Like I just said previously, Stellar Wars is our version on a chaotic Galaxy that's based off our own Milky Way Galaxy.

You are all tasked to venture out into the unknown and expand your own power while expanding the strength of all that lives and breathes within Stellar Wars.

However, that is where the problem comes in…

We have created powerhouses within the game who are hidden giants that can influence Imperial Empires and Shadow Organisations to take whatever they please.

This is why we created a hidden goal within the game which is cooperate and development as a whole.

Your all here to connect with one another and provide your own expertise to the organisation.

Currently I can see several engineers who each have their own specialisation and skillsets that puts you far ahead of each other.

Also think back to our entertainment culture on Earth and try to bring it into the game.

Actually, let me show you the work of some children playing the game." Louis displayed the footage of an organisation created by some high school students within the Spatial Ark Star World.

Once the game was made available to everyone within the Space, students and schools adopted the game pretty quickly since it greatly helped boost responsibility on each student.

People understood what it meant to manage others and control legions of fighters who had their own lives within the Virtual Game.

Footage displayed within the V.I.P room showed the students creating Mech robots which were anywhere from 8 metres and above.

Some of the small Mech robots were made to help with crafting the War Mechs, but this didn't stop the astonishment everyone felt after witnessing the combat prowess of the Mechs.

"These High School students decided to team up and create an organisation that gathers all the students within their school under the same banner.

You can create your own organisation if you wish, but the parent group will be the main company.

This is done to help the younger organisations to grow with some protection and help, while also allowing them to provide aid to the whole High School company.

The main reason this is allowed to occur is to allow High Schools to compete with one another in game like another sport.

Students used their knowledge from television shows and movies to be replicated within the game.

The Mechs are just one of the items they've replicated within game, with some High Schools creating powerful warships and even adapting Magic if they spawned on a planet with Mana.

Same with those who discovered Spiritual Qi Energy." Felix stated while increasing the number of video feeds on the holographic display.

"… So, you want us to pool our current resources together and establish our own major consortium?" Zaro asked, with his mind making plans for the Atlaesus Group even without asking.

"You aren't at that level just yet.

'Consortium' is a title awarded to prestigious organisations and companies whose reach extends out beyond a single Star System.

At most you will be known as a Multi-Planetary Corporation.

We decided to give you all a little help and created the Atlaesusian Syndicate, while providing you all with one Ark Class Starship." Louis changed the video feeds to a single display of a ship which was 12km by 7km, with a narrow arrowhead design shape.

The ship had a combination of technology from Starfleet, UNSC, Reapers and even some of the projects designed within the Necthea Institute.

Power Cell Star Engines and an Energy Sphere was included on the ship as well, which appeared rather extravagant for the current members of the Atlaesus Group to afford.

Kristoff quickly checked the specific designs details of the Starship and its computational powers.

To his surprise, the Ancient A.I data he had saved from the wrecked spaceship could easily be fixed with the computational strength of the Starships main quantum computer system.

.

"Zaro… if we take the Starship, I have some data of an Ancient A.I that could aid the management of the ship and our Syndicate." Kristoff sent some copied data to Zaro and the others around him of his A.I, which even drew in Louis and Felix.

They were surprised to hear someone found an A.I, especially one that could be considered 'Ancient'.

After looking over the code of the A.I program within Kristoff grasp, both developers appeared to be fearful of their own work.

They looked at one another as they decided to play a quick game of Rock, Paper, Scissors.

'Fuck!' Felix thought to himself as he lost the game against Louis and had to be the one to explain what they'd stumbled across.

"Um… Boss…

There is some I need to show you." Felix stuttered out while sending over the data on the corrupted Ancient A.I data.

Esmond stopped looking over the reports to check the data sent to him, only to find himself utterly astonished by the ability of the game.

He understood the Virtual World had a great number of capabilities that he still hasn't capitalised on yet, but Esmond never expected it to create an A.I which could rival some of the programs he'd developed to manage Galactic Empires.

Though it was still far from reaching that level, as it was in its infancy stage, Esmond believed it could serve him outside of the game.

"… Make sure to sweep the game for any other similar data that can help us outside of the game.

I'll send you some extra support to deal with the workload." Esmond said to Felix before contacting Carter who flashed into the room.

"… If you want I can make it so that it is developing along with the other A.Is within the A.I World.

At the same time, it can provide help to the Atlaesusian Syndicate.

Even if they want to use the A.I outside of the game, it would be entirely possible if they replicate their Atlaesusian Syndicate on Earth." Carter's random opinion sparked great interest from everyone present in the room.

Even Amelia, May, Layla and Igdra felt like they needed their own A.I to help with their personal stuff since they wanted to work on their own.

Zaro wanted the girls to join the Atlaesusian Syndicate, but he wasn't aware of Esmond's plans for them.

.

"Great it done." Esmond simply replied to Carter before he vanished again with the complete data of the Ancient A.I.

Taking note of Kristoff and all the people who'd soon join the Atlaesusian Syndicate, Carter made sure to add a decent amount of information related to their professions and specialisation.

He planned to remove the corrupted data and improve some of the old code before bringing the Ancient A.I back to life.

Kristoff wanted to see how Carter worked, but he knew it wouldn't be possible for now, so he could only wait and see how everything worked out once everyone boarded their Ark Class Starship.

"I suggest you all go and interact with each other's crew in the Reception Hall before announcing your joint cooperation.

After that, I'll transport you all over to your Ark Class Starship that is outfitted with trained staff who are already considered part of the Atlaesusian Syndicate.

Their families have already taken residence on the Ark Starship so make sure to treat them well."

Esmond said before turning his attention to his girls.

"… I'm surprised you all have achieved so much in such a short period of time." Genuinely, Esmond was in awe on how the girls each became massive figures of influence on their Homeworlds.

Layla established a merchant group which specialised in mining and quickly left the confines of her homeworld faster than others.

May instead decided to develop her homeworld and quickly gain the authority to silently control the political landscape of her Star System.

Amelia also created a corporation that developed her basic homeworld which incidentally made her the Empress of the Star System.

Igdra on the other than circumvented the game system and gave herself a little boost within the game early on.

Appearing on a planet of Mana, she became the Saintess of the World Tree before synchronising it as a Branch of her own World Tree.

This allowed her Player ID to become a powerful figure who discovered a hidden ability of the World Tree which opened portals or gates between the land of the planet and space.

Using what she learnt from the Spatial Ark Star World, Igdra transform her planet and their knowledge base to start producing NPCs with a great range of skillsets and abilities.
